Discover this tremendous 3-bedroom gem in Cherry Log. This cool cabin boasts 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and 3 bathrooms, 2 with a jetted bathtubs. The basement living room includes a cozy sofa bed for extra guests. Great hiking available out the front door or for avid hikers, access to the Benton McKay Trail is only a mile away.
Only 20 minutes from town and access to great shopping, restaurants, and the Blue Ridge Scenic Railroad!

Our host was phenomenal with communication. Any needs were easily communicated. The home was fully stocked with everything you could think of, even the little things you usually have to go out and purchase. The layout was PERFECT for our family with separation for adults and children.

Best Location for a Cabin with Great Views!

We had an amazing stay at this cabin and would highly recommend it! Property was clean, easy to find, very spacious, had every amenity you can think of. The views off the balcony speak for themselves. The host was super friendly and helpful. They stayed in touch with us from the days prior to our check in, until our check out. All our questions and needs were answered! Look no further you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing views, great owner

The cabin is beautiful as promised! Cherry log is a beautiful community not far from downtown blue ridge! Overall, the cabin felt secluded and private but was actually in a very nice private community. Just be sure you feel comfortable driving up smaller mountain roads, as this one is slightly up the mountain but the road is well maintained! Close to trails, rivers, and any outdoor activity you can imagine. Was great for our family trip, and will likely be coming back next year! We loved the view and the pool table! Overall, great trip and the cabin was a big part of it, could stare down the view forever!

The kitchen was fully stocked - it had everything one could need for cooking and dining in. The coffee maker was super, with both a drip machine and a keurig. Each of the bedrooms is on a separate floor, allowing plenty of space for all of us. The wifi worked well and had a strong signal. The a heating system and fireplace kept everyone warm and the views were magnificent.Be mindful of the very steep, curvy, narrow gravel road that one must traverse to get to the home. We did see big trucks and small electric vehicles, so, it appears that everyone can manage to navigate it, however, without much experience and without a four wheel drive vehicle, we chose to ensure we only traveled during daylight.The host was responsive and provided plenty of information. We had no problems at all and really enjoyed the property.

The cabin is situated at the top of a hill and afforded beautiful views of the mountains and valley. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for preparing meals. We enjoyed the beautiful fireplace while watching football and playing board games. Each of the king bedrooms had large bathrooms attached with jacuzzi tub, double vanity and walk in shower. The downstairs allowed the kids to enjoy the pool table and hook up their game console. There is an additional bedroom with a queen bed and a nook area with a sleeper sofa. The laundry and nice size bath were downstairs as well. We were a party of ten and had more than enough room to sprawl. The porches were amazing. This was the perfect place for us to slow down and enjoy and embrace family time. We traveled with one dog and he had plenty of space to play and take naps.

I grew up in Alabama and have been hiking since I was 10. My wife found Blue Ridge 17 years ago before it was a "hot spot". The hiking is great here and you can start on the Benton McKay Trail, which feeds into the Appalachian Trail and hike all the way to Maine if you want. I truly enjoy sharing the area with people and I am always happy to make hiking recommendations to guests as well as strangers.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The cabin and the view made the decision for us, but the best thing is that you feel like you are in the wilderness, but only 20 minutes from town, 15 minutes from ziplining, and 30 minutes from white water rafting.
There are also multiple great hiking trails 10 to 30 minutes away.

We looked at 42 cabins before we made a decision. Our cabin was the second stop out of 42 and as soon as I saw the incredible view, I told my wife "this is it". The cabin itself is special and it's in a special place and we hope you enjoy it as much as we have and find the same peace we find when we are there.
