We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at Crickett Lane. The kitchen was well spaced so a couple of us were able to cook at a time. The firepit and screened in porch were wonderful for s’mores and cards, respectively.

Check in was too late considering how early check out is. A recliner in the living room was in horrible shape, then we received a message from Vrbo asking us about it. Almost feeling as though they were accusing us of doing it. It looked as though the chair had been torn up for sometime. This makes my third stay in this cabin and ever other time has been wonderful.

Amazing time just to relax with family. After moving away a year ago, it was overdue to come back and enjoying the stay. Seeing family and enjoying all the house amenities. From midnight hot tube to mid morning bird watching. Thank you for an awesome week!

Crickett Lane cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were hoping for a bear sighting ( within a safe distance) and on day we left my son saw a bear running into woods by the big dumpster down the road. Grandkids thought that was cool. We did a lot of hiking in area. Would recommend this cabin. Thankyou for a nice stay

Private residence

Beautiful home - great location. It was dusty and smelled very smoky. Almost seemed to have been not used for a while. One bed had sheets that did not appear clean (trout room). Outdoor areas could not be used due to spiderwebs/dust/dirt. Stairs are difficult with no railing all the way up. Kitchen has an abundance of stuff. Towels were very worn - frayed, and not enough for everyone - we had to wash. The home is beautiful, just could use a deep clean. There is only one shower - it is listed as such, but we missed that. There is a huge tub in master bathroom. Beds were great in all rooms except the bear room. The price was great, the location beautiful, and the home was comfortable.

Very nice vacation home.

Overall, Crickett Lane is an above average rental cabin. Very nicely decorated. Kitchen is well stocked. Living area is very comfortable. However, the hot tub was a mess and totally unusable. The mattress in the main level bedroom definitely needs to be replaced.

Perfect hideaway for a recharge weekend!

My fiancĂ© and I were looking for a place to ring in the New Year in some peace and quiet after a long holiday season
and this cabin was the perfect place! Getting there from Atlanta was easy with the directions provided by the host, and we enjoyed four nights of solitude and hot tub time, which was perfectly pleasant in 40 degree weather. The cabin itself is cozy but still has plenty of space, including a room with two queen beds where we hope to house our kids on a return visit. The kitchen is well appointed, the tv in the living room is big, there is plenty of firewood to feed the large fireplace, and there are tons of blankets to get comfy under. The master suite’s soaring ceilings made for a stunning place to wake up every morning. I truly can’t say enough about this cabin; it was perfect for what we needed it for, and that was some rest and relaxation!

The setting was marvelous. The cabin had a great layout and was well stocked. We have stayed in far too many rentals to give a number. This one ranks up with the best. Are definitely looking at coming back.

This cabin was one of the very best of many that we have stayed at. The cabin sits just outside of Big South Fork River and Recreation Area. Spacious cabin for 4-6 people. Beautiful construction, beautiful landscaping and outdoor space. Very clean and well supplied. Flawless reservation, check in, check out, and communication with owner. Great setting for travelers who enjoy quiet, beautiful, woodlands.

Beautiful cabin!

We had a wonderful time at this gorgeous and well-stocked cabin. We loved that there are trails right outside the back door! The hot tub, screened in porch, little dock, and secret spot were fantastic outdoor features as well. We were only 2 people and our dog, but there is plenty of room for 4 more people or more! We already are making plans to try to return with friends. It’s definitely one of the best cabins we’ve ever visited!

Great Getaway!

Couldn't recommend this property more highly! Terrific cabin and location. Very quite with every amenity you could hope for. We stayed here for a race at Pickett/Big South Fork and will for sure stay here again if we do the race next year!

Peaceful getaway

I read other reviews that said the pictures didn't do this property justice and I have to agree! The cabin was exquisite! I couldn't believe how peaceful and private this location was! We absolutely enjoyed our time here from just relaxing around the cabin to being in the hot tub at night. Even though we didn't have horses to bring along with us our teenage girls LOVED the fact that we had our own horse stables and even had fun doing a photoshoot one afternoon! We explored a small bit of the trails right outside our cabin and loved the pond with deck. A couple of the days we drove just a short distance to some hiking trails in the Big South Fork National Park nearby. Loved the privacy of the cabin and the fact that it was in a gated community so we knew anyone back in that area had permission to be there. The cabin was well stocked and decorated so beautifully! It was definitely just the perfect relaxing getaway that our family needed. If we are ever back in this area we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
