Cette maison confortable invite votre famille et vos amis à profiter de l'air alpin et expérience du temps niché dans les sapins. Le salon est spacieux avec des plafonds voûtés de la cathédrale. Un mur massif de fenêtres monte sur le toit invitant lumière naturelle filtrée arbres dans tout le chalet.

La cuisine spacieuse comprend une vue dégagée sur les zones de restauration et de vie. Les enfants et les amis peuvent le ventre à la barre de petit déjeuner sur quatre vieux style ouest, tabourets pivotants cuir surmontée. La grande table à manger offre le cadre pour des dîners mémorables plus de verres de vin et de rires. Ou sur les chaudes nuits d'été profiter de la barbecue Weber et pique-nique sur le pont. Après le dîner, profiter de l'un des jeux de société sur le tapis moelleux avant l'incendie.

Avec près de ½ acres, le lot en pente douce le dos à une ceinture verte pour la randonnée, jouer et explorer. Le quartier offre encore plus:

We had a great stay! Owners were very easy to communicate with. Good location. We had lots of snow, kids could play right outside the cabin and we could easily watch them from the windows. Would stay here again.

Very nice rental! It was cozy, clean and very well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and it was very well organized. Communication with owners was great.

Great stay

Great place, comfortable stay with a little kid, loved the bunk bed, board games, and access to trout creek rec center. Can't beat proximity to Tahoe Donner skiing as well.

Fun for Summer

This was a great house and perfect for my kids and I to use as a home base during our stay in Truckee. Having access to the private beach and the pool made for busy days and great memories.

Casual, Comfortable and a Perfect Ski trip getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at Glacier View Chalet. We had all of the essentials we needed. comfortable space, and lots of windows to watch the snow fall. Peaceful and comfortable.

Cozy, warm and perfect!

This cabin was lovely and the online description was accurate. We arrived very late and the heat was on and the place was cozy. Very comfortable for 4 of us. The sleds were super fun too! Would absolutely stay there again and highly recommend to others!

Just right

What a sweet, comfortable home away from home for our family. A clean home, with comfy and cozy beds, well-appointed kitchen, plenty of fun games, and all of that good fresh Tahoe air. The owner made it so easy for us at every step, and we were happy to find ourselves so close to the amenities of the Trout Creek center, as well as the network of trails for summer hiking, biking, and equestrian use. So nice!

Easiest Ever

Great location, with a floor plan that could not be better! We took our three college kids there for a home town 4th of July parade, fireworks, some hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing and boating. This place was close enough to everything! During our down time we cooked in the kitchen, bbq on the grill, caught up with wi-fi, and watched some cool new shows on Netflix and Prime. Andy even alerted us to a far away fire and gave us some tips. We were all very comfortable. I would suggest replacing the rocker with a recliner, but not a big deal. We had a very peaceful and relaxing week getting to know Truckee.

Fantastic!

Everything about this home was great! We were 4 adults and 3 young kids and it was the perfect size and layout for us. The 3 kids shared the room with the bunk beds, which they loved! We loved the real fireplace too and there was loads of pre-chopped wood available for us to get a good fire going each evening. Also behind the house is a slope just about steep enough for the kids to have some fun with the sleds in the snow. Great fun! Location is also really good. We did the TahoeDonner downhill ski and cross country ski which are both about a 5 minute drive away. Also drove over to Squaw for some tubing and more skiing and that was only about a 20 minute drive. We've been to this area before but this was definitely the best home we've stayed in and we will definitely be back again at some point!

We stayed in summer for one week - two adults and four kids (tweens & teens). The house is plenty big. The four kids shared the bunk bed room. The kitchen has lots of supplies that were very helpful, including a full selection of Ziploc bags (these definitely came in handy)! The kitchen cutting knives could use sharpening, but that's a minor complaint. One suggestion for the master bedroom: there are no nightstands. It's really handy to have a place next to the bed to put a water bottle, a clock or watch, a book, etc., besides on the floor. The space available on the sides of the bed is limited, but small end tables could fit there. Overall, this place is great. It's in a nice, quiet location close to lots of Tahoe Donner & Truckee amenities. The house is spacious and comfy, and the owner responded to all our requests promptly.

Great cabin in truckee

Cozy cabin. Lots to do in the area. We had a blast sledding and cross country skiing. Will definitely come back here.

Perfect Ski Week Getaway!

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful A-frame home. It is in a great location - right in the middle of Tahoe Donner with easy access to Truckee, Sugar Bowl, Palisades Tahoe, and Alpine Meadows ski resorts. I loved the tall windows which allowed in a lot of natural sunlight and you could stare up into the beautiful trees surrounding the home. Communication with very seamless with Andy - he usually responded within a few minutes. Check in/check out was also really easy with a lockbox at the house. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and I would absolutely recommend this home for your next Tahoe getaway!

Great stay

Wonderful cosy house, short 5 minute drive to Tahoe Donner Ski area (which is amazing for young family or if learning to ski). House had everything we needed, was warm and cosy, and we even built a sled run out the back. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house, well equipped

The house is beautiful, well-decorated and well-equipped with both necessities and games. A great place to stay for a family or group ski trip (among other reasons to visit the Truckee area). Hosts are friendly, responsive and helpful.

Awesome stay

We loved our time here. Looking forward to coming back. Close enough to the lake to go when it gets too hot and close enough to the tennis courts to get some morning hitting in as well . Bbq and eating out on the deck was so nice and peaceful.

Spring Break fun for the whole family

We all enjoyed our time at Glacier View Chalet; the proximity to Donner & all that Truckee has to offer made it a perfect location for us. The kids had lots of fun both in the back yard & inside watching movies & playing hours of games. The kitchen was easy to use with all the amenities of home allowing us to have most of our meals in the comfortable dining area. Hope to visit this rental again!

Perfect Ski Weekend

Our family had the perfect weekend staying at Glacier View Chalet. I loved that our older kids could go skiing at Tahoe Donner, and our little one could go tubing - all within a 10-minute drive of the house. Being so close to both places made it easy to come back to the house for breaks/lunch. The house itself is cozy, super well-stocked, very clean and comfy. The kids were even able to sled and have snowball fights right behind the house, so there was plenty of easily accessible outdoor fun to be had. We are definitely bookmarking this home for future trips!

Great House, Great Owners!

We have stayed in this area many times at different homes. We were very happy with this home and will stay here again. -The house heater worked very well (we have been in other homes that are freezing in certain areas of the house) -the mattresses were super comfy (not always the case at other homes) - The driveway was plowed daily (super important as we have been stuck in homes before) - The owners were very responsive Definitely recommend!!

Cozy and fun

We had a great time staying at this house over Super Bowl weekend. We love the Tahoe Donner neighborhood so this location was great. It had snowed several feet the week before so our kids had a great time sledding in the large yard. The house was cozy and warm and had everything we needed for a fun weekend away from home

Perfect cozy cabin

This cabin was so comfortable and cozy for our family of 6 for our annual ski trip. Just 25 minutes from Donner Ski Ranch, less than 10 to downtown Truckee for takeout, perfect side yard for a little sledding with the young kids - it was just what we needed. This cabin is priced right and would definitely recommend it.
