Located in the heart of downtown, this vibrant split level one bedroom apartment inside a boutique hotel has a lofted bedroom with a comfortable king bed, a spacious living room, private bathroom, and a kitchenette with stove, microwave and mini-fridge. Enjoy historic charm, exposed brick walls, clean design, and modern amenities. This suite honors the beloved JoJo, who lovingly built the hotel in 1987.

This charming lofted suite is located within the boutique and historic Stemmerman Hotel, and situated above a popular wedding venue, 128 South and Bakery105. Charm abounds from the well preserved victorian 1855 VonKampen building, which houses the hotel and venue.

The location is a short walk away from the famous Cape Fear RiverWalk, the farmers market, restaurants, bars, entertainment, museums, and nightlife.

The shared balcony has plenty of seating and has excellent views of the Cape Fear River, the battleship USS North Carolina, and the western horizon with magnificent sunsets. There is also laundry room in the common areas.

It’s important to note that because this hotel is located above a wedding venue, there is the potential for noise on Friday and Saturday nights until 11pm. Also of note is that the bedroom can only be accessed via a staircase and is not handicap accessible.

JoJo‘s Jewel is located in the heart of downtown Wilmington close to many restaurants and fun things to do within walking distance. The space was very accommodating for two people and the bed very comfortable. There is a skylight in the bedroom which is good if you are an early riser, but could be frustrating if you like to sleep in late. Overall, a great place to stay!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The location can't be beat. Room was clean and welcome basket was a special treat. The cleaning staff forgot to empty the large bin in the "kitchen" area, but that wasn't a big deal. You can clearly hear conversations and music from other rooms, either beside or below. Don't forget to hit the "lock" button on the main door into the hotel, it did not lock automatically.

Great location ... everything downtown is within walking distance...Riverwalk, shops, awesome restaurants and rooftop bars!The efficiency was great for the two of us. Be aware that there are stairs to navigate to get up to the rental units and then again within the unit (bedroom and bathroom are on different levels within the unit) This wasn't an issue for us but might be for some renters. We would stay here again when we visit Wilmington in the future.
