Extremely rare in Rio: the water in the pool can be heated!

Come spend an extraordinary stay in Rio de Janeiro, in one of the best areas of the city: IPANEMA. Our apartment has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (+ an outside one). Numerous terraces around a small private and not overlooked pool and at the top a barbecue with an incredible view.

The building has 24-hour doormen and is located on a quiet and safe street. Just 100m from the beach, our building is in front of General Osorio square and its trendy bars, cafes and restaurants. A ZonsaSul supermarket is just downstairs (open 24h except sundays).

The apartment is on the top floor. On the first level there are 2 bedrooms with Queen-bed 63inch/160cm width (bedrooms 2 and 3 in the photos). These 2 bedrooms share 1 bathroom (bathroom 2 in the photos). In each room there is air conditioning, a ceiling fan, blackout curtains, a smart TV for easy access to your favorite platforms, and a desk if you need to work.
Above is the living room with an open and equipped kitchen and a table for 8 people. The sofa area is spacious and can accommodate your friends or familly. There is also a large smart-TV. The living room opens a large bay window onto the pool area. This space is in the sun until 3 p.m./4 p.m. The water can be heated if you want.
Same level, next to the pool, there is a smaller bedroom with a 56inch/140cm width double bed but which has its own bathroom. It also has air conditioning. (bedroom 4 and bathroom 3 in the photos).
From this level you can either take the interior staircase to access the master suite, or take the exterior staircase which will give you access to the exterior shower and exterior toilets (bathroom 4 in the photos).
Last level, the master suite has a King size bed (79inch/200cm width) and a bathroom with a central shower cubicle. A large bay window overlooks the outside and of course there are blackout curtains and AC. (no tv in this bedroom because there is windows everywhere).
Finally, a exterior staircase will give you access to the roof of the apartment. On this roof there are 3 deckchairs and a table for 10 people, under a pergola. There is also a gas barbecue. From the roof you will have a view of the sea, the iconic mountain of Rio called "the 2 brothers" (2 Hermaos), the Statue of Jesus Christ (Corcovado) and the Sugar Loaf.

NB: the pool is 4 meters by 2 meters (160inch by 80inch). But there is a beach with 10 cm (4inch) of water on half of the surface. On the other half (2x2 metters - 80x80 inch), it is possible to sit on the submerged benches and you will have water up to your shoulders. It is not possible to swim and there are no bubbles.

Important information :

Loud parties are not permitted. If you want to organize a small reception with friends, you need to think about the neighborhood and not make too much noise. There is no music system in the apartment. You can bring your connected speaker but it must not be too powerful.

Please note: The doormen are responsible for filtering arrivals and only tenants identified in advance with their identity documents can enter the building.

Electricity: due to the bad behavior of former guests we are unfortunately obliged to ask for a deposit for electricity in order to make our guests responsible. We ask for a 100us$ deposit per night. It’s intentionally high. This deposit must be given at the time of check-in. A photo of the electricity meter will be taken with you at check-in and another at check-out. Your actual consumption will be calculated and based on our latest electricity bill that we will show you, we will calculate the amount of your consumption which we will deduct from the deposit. At checkout, we will pay you back immediatly. In order to have an idea about how much you will be charge for electricity : if you put the pool heating on 30°C (86°F) and if you only use the air conditioning on 22°C (71°F) with the windows closed, it will cost between 15 and 25 us$ per day. On the other hand, if you let the air conditioning on 19°C (66°F) all day long with the windows open and heat the pool to 36°C (97°F), it can cost much more.
