Une vue à couper le souffle n'est qu'une des nombreuses caractéristiques remarquables de cette maison inspirée par l'art de Wellfleet. Parfaitement située le long de 'Blackfish Creek' en hommage aux baleines qui dominent Cape Cod, cette maison est accessible à tout ce que Wellfleet et Cape Cod ont à offrir! Trois espaces de vie comprenant une vaste véranda surplombant le marais, une salle multimédia confortable pour les soirées cinéma et un salon formel avec un sol en pin original et un mur d’accent en brique. Cuisine mise à jour avec grand îlot et lave-vaisselle. Salle à manger confortable baignée de lumière naturelle. Trois chambres très spacieuses, y compris un maître BR avec coin salon, sols en béton poli et balcon privé avec les meilleures vues de toute la maison. Une des chambres supplémentaires est meublée avec deux lits jumeaux (situés au deuxième étage), et l'autre chambre avec lit queen est située au premier étage. La sensation «Cape Cod» se poursuit dans la cour arrière sablonneuse où elle rencontre finalement l’eau salée de Blackfish Creek. N'oublions pas la douche extérieure fermée 'top-deck'. Our family of five had an incredible week together in Wellfleet. The house was perfect; great yard for our dogs and for us to watch the sunset over the marsh. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We loved starting our mornings reading in the side porch before heading to the Cape Cod Rail Trail for a walk/jog which is just across Route 6. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great house with historic character. We enjoyed the outside areas as well as the charming sitting rooms inside. Well stocked kitchen. Good location, pretty views and lots of birdsong. We weren’t bothered at all by the traffic noise as some others have mentioned.

Wonderful house!

This house is in a beautiful setting with views out over an expansive marsh and great sunsets. The house is well equipped and comfortable as well as containing many lovely spots in which to relax alone or with family/friends. I hope to return at some point.

Central location

This is an older, well maintained property with a great backyard view. It is centrally located, on route 6. It is managed my Del Mar rentals. My family and I enjoyed staying there. Drawbacks included the early 9am checkout time and it is right off Route 6, so thre is some traffic noise in the front rooms. These were not deals breakers for us.

Picturesque Weekend Retreat!

This hideaway on Route 6 with breathtaking views was exactly what we needed! Such a beautiful yard, views, and the house had plenty of privacy. Watching the sunset from the upstairs deck was just incredible. Great location and easily accessible to downtown Wellfleet, Truro, Provincetown, and nearby beaches. The only drawback was visibility from Route 6 - drove by it a few times! But that was not a big deal at all. The dogs loved running around in the back yard and we had a peaceful and relaxing stay here. We will definitely be back with family and friends.

Owner was in house right next door.

Owner was living in the house right next door and had landscape work done while we were there trying to enjoy our vacation. She was very polite but I always felt a little uneasy as I would have preferred a little more privacy. If this doesn't bother you then it's a great place, great spot.

Fabulous View Getaway

My family took my 84 year old aunt away from Boston for a few days to celebrate her 85th birthday and we had an amazing relaxing time. The house way better than the photos. The outdoor space was gorgeous with perfect views. The house itself had lots of different spaces if we needed quiet time away from the others. Very convenient location. The address number sign on the highway was very small and hidden behind overgrown plants, so it was hard to find originally, but that can easily be fixed and should not take away from renting this awesome old quaint and charming home. GPS saved the day there. Would definitely come back! Thank you !

A little too dated, plumbing issues not addressed during stay

Over priced for a somewhat charming, but very dated house that needs a lot of repair. Garage / shed behind house looks like they are about to fall down. I reported a significant toilet/sink leak at the beginning of our week and it was never dealt with (I called 3 times). Rental is not through owners, but a 3rd party (DelMar) and I would not rent from them again.

What a perfect location in Wellfleet! The house had so many places to get away and relax! Everyone in our family could find some quiet time if needed! The backyard and view were so wonderful! Our Newfie also loved the yard, lots of space to play fetch! We had great game nights in the family room, and morning coffee in the beautiful sun room! The house is quaint and has that Cape feel. Space was very clean, and having the linens provided was a welcomed amenity- saving so much room when traveling- and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash a plus!Will stay here again!!! Perfect for my group’s and my (4 adults, 1 toddler) needs. This place had the trappings of a charming, cozy cape house, hitting a nice balance between character and convenience. We especially loved the outdoor shower, the sunroom in the back in the evenings, and the dining table nook for coffee & puzzles in the morning. You can hear the traffic from the nearby road, but that didn’t bother us. Check-in & check-out were a breeze—would stay again!

South Wellfleet House

We enjoyed our stay in this house very much. Despite the proximity of Rte. 6, we got used to the noise very quickly, and actually forgot about it. The grounds are lovely - especially the large backyard overlooking the marsh. Sunset was glorious. There are some issues with the architecture where there are several internal steps that are not necessarily that visible, and could cause falling for folks with balance or vision issues. If they were marked with highly visible tape, that would improve the safety. Additionally, the owner might want to pick up some of the scatter rugs which also can be a falling risk. But other than those two concerns, it is a lovely house.

Decor is left solely up to the homeowner, and our pictures are selected to capture the home's rustic Cape Cod charm. You don't get any more 'Cape' than right on Blackfish Creek! That being said, we do have a number of homes in our inventory and would love the opportunity to host you again to earn your full 5-stars!

Wonderful stay in this lovely Cape Cod charm

We had a good time in this beautiful home. We loved the privacy, quietness and calmness of the place. A few critters here and there (which is expected in a old-charm property) kept us excited :-). I would be glad to recommend this place.

Beautiful, large house by beaches

We had a wonderful time staying at this home. There was plenty of room for my group of four adults and two children. Even though it is off of the highway it was very quiet. The sunset over the marsh was lovely. Everything was near by. I loved the outdoor shower. We will stay again.

Great vacation

We had a really great vacation. House is great for families. A lot of separate spaces for everyone to sleep and have alone time. View of creek is amazing and we had a breath taking sunset to enjoy. Yard is great for dogs/kids/swinging in the hammock. Love the location. Bike path Easy to jump on for a ride or a run! Don’t remember hearing rt 6 at all. Would definitely return again!!
