Great House

The property was exceptionally clean and well-appointed, with an abundance of beach items that made the stay even more convenient for the family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we particularly appreciated the availability of a six-person golf cart for rent, which enabled us to explore the area freely..

Our stay was amazing!! Anna was very helpful & available. The house was perfect for our needs. They even provided beach chairs for the adults & beach toys for the grandkids. The house is only a few steps away from the ocean; however, I would recommend renting the golf cart as well to get around the resort. The staff at the resort was great too. The entire family thoroughly enjoyed the house & entire resort! We will definitely rent this house again!

This home most certainly deserves more than 5 stars! Our stay was nothing short of perfect. Anna was incredibly quick with her responses and very helpful with information regarding the home, check in process, and our stay. The house itself is so very close to the beach, maybe 100 steps, and the golf cart is a nice option to help take items to the beach or to transport you to other amenities around the campground. The home was stunning and the listing pictures don’t do it justice, starting with a beautiful deck to lounge and take in the view of the water / sunrise. Home was new and updated with more than enough space for 8 people, beds were comfortable, kitchen was stocked with all the items you would need for a family cookout. Anna and her gorgeous home made our vacation, and we will absolutely return in the future!

Organized, spacious, and so much fun – we didn’t want to leave! Our family had the best week at this beach house! It was spotless and incredibly organized—everything was labeled and thoughtfully arranged. I honestly wish my own home was this put together!We had three kids with us, and the house had plenty of space for them to play together or spread out when needed. The location was perfect—just a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach, and the community was welcoming and full of energy. The nightly golf cart parade was a highlight for our kids! Everything you could need is either within the Ocean Lakes gates or just a mile outside. The owner was amazing to work with—quick to respond, helpful, and kind. She made the whole process easy and stress-free. I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I couldn’t pass up the chance to rave about this home. None of us were ready to leave, and I even checked to see if we could extend our stay another week. If you're looking for a fun, clean, and well-located beach house—this is it!

Great stay in Ocean Lakes!

We’ve been to a lot of VRBOs over the years and this was one of the best experiences we’ve had. It started with excellent communication. Anna and Dave were both eager to ensure our stay was perfect and it was. They asked us upfront if we had any special needs or preferences and they’re extremely responsive over email and text. Over the years we have put together a large “VRBO box” we travel with when we drive. We didn’t need it for this trip because this house is incredibly well set up for enjoyment. From a fully-stocked kitchen and gourmet cookware and utensils to hairdryers in every bathroom to 65” TVs in every bedroom, this place had it all! And the place was spotless!The huge deck and comfy outdoor furniture made for a great setting for morning coffee with friends to watch the sunrise and listen to the ocean as well as a night cap too!It’s a big benefit that Dave and Anna offer a golf cart for rent so there’s no need to deal with the long lines to rent one at the front and mess around with returns. Plus, it’s a unique six-seater so it’s easier to find amongst the 3,000 or so golf carts they rent at Ocean Lakes during peak season. Fair balance, the only downside is there are no pets allowed and my wife and I would love to bring our two puppies next time. I have worked in and around the area of Litchfield and Pawleys up to the NC border and had never been back into Ocean Lakes. It is almost magical with a great vibe. So many activities and things to see and do.
