This review comes from a different perspective as we live locally, and stayed here for two weeks during home renovations. As other reviewers have noted, this is a basement apartment - the stairs are tricky and the shower door is narrow. We had to deal with some weather related issues, but the host, Al, was very responsive and helpful.Great location - convenient to restaurants, shopping and transit options (parkways/LIRR/bus) but in a quiet neighborhood. Good choice for an extended stay with a more comfortable homey feel than a hotel and all the amenities you'd need. Especially appreciated the washer/dryer and full kitchen!

We had a great stay. Pluses-everything in the apartment was new, the kitchen, the bathroom, the shower-all great. Minuses-the stairs are a little wonky & the shower door is great if you’re of average size. Be cautious if you require more
space. Overall our stay was great and the host was quick to respond to my questions. We hope to go back next year.

Great Place

My stay was seven nights and I appreciated having such a comfortable place to come back to after a busy day of visiting friends and family.Alex was responsive to any questions from booking through departure. I appreciated the convenient off street parking right at my entry! Location is convenient to quick parkway access.The place is immaculate and very spacious and exceeded my expectations. Would book again.

The apartment was very, very clean. Spotless. It was spacious as well. Very convenient location for south central Nassau. The interior wall AC unit worked well. I thought it was reasonably priced. Off street parking in the back of the home is a big plus for sure. The stairs leading to the entrance down to the apartment can be tricky for an older person, but it's well lit at night and the railing is sturdy. It might be a good idea to mention that in the description.The only thing I would have a negative comment on is the TV set up, with such that it was only in Spanish. I tried to go to settings to see if I could change the language but to no avail. It really wasn't a problem for me as I wasn't there to watch television. Suggestion would be to have it set up in English for upcoming guests. Would definitely stay there without question the next time while I'm on Long Island if it's available. I would recommend it...
