Also, we are 7 minutes away (3.4 miles) from Louisiana Castle Venue and 10 minutes away (6 miles) from Willows Wedding Venue. Our space isn’t the Ritz Carlton and Franklinton isn’t as fun as South Beach — but don’t sleep on us.

Franklinton is where the Washington Parish Free Fair brings families together, the Bogue Chitto River stays cool, and somebody always knows how to boil crawfish and cook gumbo just right!

Here, you're covered with good manners, little comforts, and a stay that feels like home and—most importantly—not at your in-laws' house!

The backyard gives off tranquil vibes, it’s its own little peaceful hide-a-away—complete with a bubbling hot tub, fire pit, chirping birds, kids play area, and a BBQ grill ready for good food and chill laxin'.

Keep in mind, this is a country town and you may run into a few insects while outside! Consider them part of the local charm. Think of them as nature’s way of saying, “Hey Ya'll!! Welcome to the Fair City!”

Oh, and all the amenities are included—no surprise fees for breathing the air or using the Wi-Fi.

BACKYARD: There’s a fire pit and BBQ grill. Don’t worry, your fur baby has room to run and play too—it’s a good time for everybody!

****NEIGHBORHOOD VIBES****: As you head to the best kept secret, you’ll pass a mix of homes — some full of retro 50s–70s charm, others just waiting for their big break for a makeover on reality TV Show - This Old House. :) Nevertheless — our spot is exactly as pictured: bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed for a warm, welcoming stay. You’ll see traffic cruise by, neighbors walking, and kids zipping around on bikes. Things usually wind down when the streetlight pops on, and the whole neighborhood settles into a laid-back, mellow rhythm

Only housebroken dogs allowed (no pee pads).
$100 fee per pet (max 2 dogs, under 75 lbs each).
Pets must be pre-approved and paid before check-in.
No other animals or unapproved pets allowed.

Allowed only at the fire pit or on the backyard deck
Not permitted inside the house
Ashtray provided on the deck for easy cleanup

**Note: To maintain a fresh and pleasant environment, smoking, vaping, hookah, including cannabis (marijuana), or any other form of smoking is strictly prohibited inside our house.

Home is protected with a security system (sensors on doors/windows)
Exterior cameras ONLY (front door, driveway, back door, backyard RV area).
***No cameras inside the home—privacy is respected!

(Please don’t mess with the WIFI, alarm system sensors and/or cameras (unless you're into surprise sirens and awkward conversations). It’s just doing its job—keeping things safe for everyone!

FYI – We’re not living on the set of First 48! The cameras are there just making sure the ghosts don’t throw a house party when no one is around. And those black solar screens on the windows? They’re not for security concerns— just there to keep the sun rays out and our energy bill chill. Just keeping things cool!

SERVICE ANIMAL: Service animals are always allowed; however, we follow the laws set forth by the State of Louisiana, ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), and Fair Housing Act.

A service animal is an animal who is trained to do work or tasks for someone with a disability, whether physical or mental.

You'll receive your unique smart lock code for self-check-in, available anytime after 3:59 p.m. The code, consisting of four digits, will be sent to you 1-3 days before your arrival and remains valid until your check-out date and time.

To ensure a comfortable stay in our cozy home, we limit occupancy to a maximum of 4 registered guests including children. (There is a sofa bed (firm), twin sized air mattress, and queen sized bed.) This rule is strictly enforced.

Guests have access to the entire house except for the attic.
