À seulement 15 minutes du centre-ville de Sandpoint et Ă  45 miles de Coeur d'Alene. Cette maison d'hĂŽtes rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ©e de 1200 pieds carrĂ©s offre le calme et la solitude que vous recherchiez. À quelques pas d'un lac privĂ© avec beaucoup de pĂȘche et des heures de dĂ©tente sur notre lac privĂ©.

Spacieux style contemporain rustique .. c'est ce que nous appelons. Le gris Beach-Wood est la couleur avec des touches de bleu sarcelle et de jaune. Plafonds voĂ»tĂ©s, comptoirs de boucherie, bar anglais vintage, cheminĂ©e, TV wi-fi 55 ", salle de douche sĂ©parĂ©e, draps, cuisine complĂšte avec poĂȘle gĂ©nial vintage, micro-ondes, mixeur, casseroles et poĂȘles, bien sĂ»r une cafetiĂšre et plus encore! Ventilateurs de plafond, radiateurs muraux de chambre, portes de grange, beaucoup d'Ă©clairage. Il n'y a pas de placards suspendus mais il y a des commodes dans 2 chambres et une armoire vintage dans la 3e. Beaucoup de crochets pour accrocher vos manteaux et chapeaux. Table de cuisine et bar haut, coach gigogne et grande chaise confortable pour profiter de la cheminĂ©e et de la tĂ©lĂ©vision.
Il y a un pont arriÚre pour regarder les étoiles et un chemin de randonnée privé vers le lac ouvert de 15 acres isolé. Garez-vous dans l'abri couvert et dans votre entrée privée élégante.
Vous aurez besoin d'une voiture pour vous déplacer et bien sûr d'un véhicule à 4 roues motrices ou à traction intégrale pendant l'hiver. SI vous allez au ski Schweitzer, vous pouvez vous garer au bas de la station de ski et prendre une navette pour les remontées mécaniques et la station. Nous avons une carte de Sandpoint et des attractions de la région.
Sandpoint a de nombreuses attractions et choses à faire. Nous sommes en location à l'année, donc ski en hiver, navigation de plaisance et sports nautiques en été, randonnée au printemps et en automne et FISHNG !!

This place has everything we dreamed of. a private lake access, amazing view, all the utilities we needed, good fishing, swimming, kayaking, campfires, and more. Michele is a super nice host and she took very good care of us. Once you get there you will not want to leave. We would want to come back for sure.

Tucked away in a woodsy neighborhood is a nicely renovated loft style apartment. The open design makes it feel very spacious, worked great as a weekend get away for a group of 6. The owners were very kind and accommodating and really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Overall a great experience!

Beautiful property with a beautiful location on Lake Muskrat. I would love to come back during the summer months to have a fire down by the lake and get to enjoy the outdoors more. Nice and relaxing, very cute home. Owners were very nice and easy to communicate with.

Lovely property

The pictures do not do this place justice! Lovely property from the inside of the house to the outside grounds. Comfortable furniture to include comfortable beds, nicely decorated, fully stocked kitchen with everything you could need. Owners left us coffee and fresh eggs. Owners accommodated an early check in; Thank you. And check in and out was made easy. Lovely deck area to enjoy and we did! The walk down to the lake was sweet and the lake was magnificent! Just Beautiful. Free range chickens were fun to watch. You can tell the owner takes pride in the property and works to ensure you have a great stay.

Amazing weekend getaway!

What a great property. Google maps was able to get us right to the remote location. Owner was there to greet us, show us the property, and give updates on what we needed to know. They let us have our privacy which was great. The loft gave us everything we needed - lots of kitchen items (coffee, dishes, silverware, grill), plenty of towels and paper goods and great internet reception. The decor is modern with a rustic feel. Enjoyed the private lake with fishing and a firepit. Was close enough for our day on Lake Pend Oreielle. There were 5 adults and a dog - we all felt like we had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay! Thank you Michele for providing such a lovely getaway!

Loved this Property!!

We really enjoyed our stay. This is a large apartment above the garage/barn, and was very nicely done. The decor was gorgeous, bedding & beds were great, kitchen, bathroom, everything was nicely done with an eye for detail.. And the location!! On your own private little lake (maybe 3 houses, we never saw a person). We loved making coffee, walking down to the little lake in the morning, relaxing.... then again in the evening, replace the coffee with a beer :). We hiked around the area, enjoyed Lake Pend Oreille, ate in Sandpoint. This rental had it all. We especially loved how close we were to the things we wanted to do, but got to enjoy a very remote private feeling home & property. Michel even brought us fresh eggs for us to use! Loved that. We will stay again.

A weekend getaway cut short

On a positive note the property is very quiet and has a nice shared lake with an easy trail to get down to it. If you love to fish or canoe, this place is great. We did enjoy our one night from that perspective. They also allow dogs which was also wonderful. The sheets on the master bed were very comfortable and plenty of towels. There is a large TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime and free TV. The owner's are also very nice and were in constant communication which was great. However, I don't believe the description of the property on the VRBO site was completely accurate, which would have changed our mind in deciding to stay. The property is located above a garage that is right next to the owner's house. The kitchen window where the sink is to clean the dishes (no dishwasher) looks right at their cars and house, and thus not very private. The window looking out was quite dirty on the outside. Being on top of the garage also meant there was a steep flight of about 20 stairs! We weren't prepared for this and as our luggage was quite heavy. Being older it was tough getting the bags up the steps. Our 14 year old dog also struggled to get up the stairs. There were no coffee pods left which the owner told me as we were driving away from Safeway in town, but indicated there was loose coffee. That would have been OK, except it was hazelnut flavored, as was the coffee mate and thus was not a huge fan. There was no hand soap in the bathroom-the container was empty and the bar of soap on the counter was a used bar of soap. There was also a burned out light bulb in the bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms but only one bathroom located out in the hallway so no bath in any of the bedrooms. While there were multiple spices, it was a bit concerning as some looked very old. The refrigerator had all sorts of condiments and other things in the door shelves, again many looked old and I was afraid to use. The same was true for the freezer which had old ice cream left over and other frozen deserts which again took up space and looked like it may have been left from prior guests. The stove is very old and while "cute", from a practical standpoint, if you are looking to cook a large meal, it is difficult as the only oven space is quite small. The cooking pan was dirty had to be cleaned to use it. Having stayed at several VRBOs, this one did not meet our expectations and for the price charged, not worth it. We decided to stay only 1 night instead of 3.

Perfect family getaway!

The property is lovely! Hostess VERY helpful! We went as a family of an infant, 4 yr. old, adult and 3 seniors and had a BALL! Indoor games, outdoor adventures! Secluded and "our very own" lake!! Could not have been more perfect - except to have stayed longer!! Try it - you will LOVE it!! Thanks so much!!!

Peaceful, Beautiful, Fun Family Vacation

We had such a wonderful time, staying in this gorgeous Carriage House on a pristine private lake. Michel was a dream! What a generous, kind, thoughtful property owner/manager. The space is very special and the lake is truly divine! We swam and kayaked and lounged, went hiking and mountain biking, played board games, ate great food, and just enjoyed family time. Pleasant and relaxing

Who knew staying above a barn could be so luxurious! House was located on a dead end street, so was very quiet. Has all the amenities and was comfortable. Property owners are very nice, accommodating and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed. Great little lake behind the house was peaceful. Had a great time fishing in their paddle boat and watching deer, beaver and eagles flying down to grab a fish dinner.

Relaxing AND Fun Getaway

This is as beautiful property with an incredible lake! We all enjoyed the warm welcome, the fully stocked kitchen, all the little details that Michel went out of her way to provide for all of us. The lake is incredible; we swam, kayaked and fished to our heart's content! It was a perfect birthday getaway for our family (mom, dad, two little boys , grandma and grandpa and our dog)

Excellent Quiet get away.

I love that the whole lake is private. Perfect for kayaking and fishing or just floating around the water. The lake is clear and FULL of fish! Host is hands down the most accommodating I have ever encountered. Everything you need is there to have a relaxing and quiet retreat from the chaos in the world. Would definitely go there again.

Muskrat Love

We loved our stay at this beautiful property. Wonderfully quiet and very comfortable. We especially loved the serene mornings down by the private lake. We also enjoyed the ambiance of the onsite chickens. Micheal was totally hospitable and accommodating, and even provided fresh eggs. Yum! We have enjoyed many VRBO properties and highly recommend this one!
