This is a gem of a cabin! We really enjoyed the location. It sits on a quiet lake with access to kayaks & is not too far of a drive from all the hikes & restaurants we went to. Very serene and a nice getaway if you are looking to spend time in nature.

The mattresses is new this year and we understand that comfort is very personal.- some guests prefer a firmer mattress while others prefer something softer. The Boathouse was an absolute gem. It was exactly what we needed to relax, with quiet surroundings and a beautiful view. The cottage had everything we needed to make our trip flawless. (Except that I dropped my phone in the lake next to the floating dock. So if anyone finds it, just contact the owner). I would recommend this location for a 10 star rating!

Clean and cozy place to stay right off the water. Bar Harbor is 20 min from the location so an easy drive to go to dinner or the national park. Would stay there again.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay during an Acadia getaway. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and loved how quiet and private our stay was. The property is immaculately kept and just a short drive from everything you want to do on the island. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to Acadia!

Perfect Getaway

The cabin was cozy and the setting was beautiful. It’s the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature and just a 15 min drive to an active downtown (Bar Harbor).
