Came for a fishing trip

We arrived and the house was very clean. Very nice and clean inside and out. The owners kept in touch to check if we needed anything. Close to the lake. Highly recommend this property

Clean & Comfortable!!!

My family and I stayed here for a few days for a High School fishing tournament on Dale Hollow. We could not have been more pleased. The home was immaculate and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was located just a short drive away from Sunset Marina (where we were launching from). Had a new HVAC that kept us comfortable. We loved the big wrap around deck. Our two teen boys had plenty of space as well. There was a big circle driveway that made it easy to get the boat in and out. There were also plenty of outside power outlets to charge the boat batteries. There were board games for the kids to play that were there that they had fun with. Wifi worked awesome too! We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room to just come and rest after long days on the water. This place is clean inside and out and we will gladly stay there again the next time we go! The owner communicated with us and was very attentive, making sure that all of our needs were met! We also loved the decor. It was very outdoorsy with some really nice framed maps of the local lakes. It was an all around great experience!!!

Wisdom Dock Retreat is in a rural community where the outdoor recreation is limitless. Dale Hollow and Lake Cumberland are very close by. Besides all of the recreation that the lakes have to offer, there are endless opportunities for hiking, hunting, birdwatching, running, bicycling, horse back riding, golfing, Frisbee golf, mushroom hunting, caving, kayaking, and anything else you can think of. The historical local towns offer some unique shopping and sightseeing. The area has a deep history in distilling moonshine and bourbon. Thus, the Bourbon Trail extends throughout a large part of Kentucky. Antiquing is always a fun way to visit the past in the area, where heirlooms have been passed up by progress. Wisdom Dock Retreat is a place that you can relax and unwind. The grounds often displays all kinds of wildlife activity. You may hear a Wild Turkey gobbling or a White tailed deer blowing. In addition, there are often your domestic animals where a rooster is crowing while a momma cow is bawling for her calf. The area is very scenic and unique. The local folks are very friendly and are fun to talk to. We encourage you to take the plunge and visit Wisdom Dock Retreat.
