Vienna oasis

We loved our ten night stay at the flat. It was very close to restaurants and grocery shops. The laundry was handy. We especially liked the comfy bed, outdoor patio and good hot showers. This is a great choice for those looking for a quiet and convenient location to spend in Vienna. Highly recommend!

On arrival we were thoroughly shown through the property by Christian, who was amazing. The apartment is spotlessly clean with plenty if room to move. Breathtaking apartment; perfect location!

Our stay could not have been more comfortable. This beautiful apartment, appointed with stunning granite flooring and antiques is in a fantastic location for seeing Vienna. The kitchen is well equipped, and a grocery market is on the corner. Lots of restaurants and cafes are within an easy walk. I would definitely recommend!

Happy stay in Vienna

We had a fantastic stay at Christian and Maurizio's flat. Everything was well explained and the neighbourhood was well located to the ring. Organic food shop a few blocks away and a few nice restaurants as well. Will look forward to returning to the flat in the summer. Lastly, the warmth of the host and the people of Vienna are a reason in itself to keep coming back to this great city.

Lots of character

It's especially fun to go to a new place and enjoy the wonderful characteristics of that place. It was so fun to be on a residential street in a typical building in the city. Much easier to see the city for what it is rather than being in a hotel. Loved the apartment. Lots of room to spread out. Such a cute patio and a perfect vacation kitchen. Loved it.

Girls trip to vienna

Honestly this spot could not have been more perfect. Location was AMAZING. Within walking distance to Vienna city walk. My friend and I each had our own bedrooms. Apartment was clean and quaint. Christian and Mauricio were the perfect hosts! Thank you! We would go back in a heartbeat!

Vienna holiday

We had a fabulous holiday in Vienna. The apartment was as stated and the small outside eating area was perfect for us to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. We arrived late at night but that was not a problem as we were greeted by Mauricio with a smile. Any queries we emailed and were responded to very quickly. Most of the sight seeing we did was within walking distance of the apartment with lots of restaurants nearby. Would recommend the apartment.

One week vacay

Very quiet and peaceful location. Comfortable spaces for two people in two bedroom. Used the stove, oven and refrigerator. Back private patio overlooked by back apartments but we never saw anyone. Close to shopping, groceries and restaurants. A few minutes walk to Parliament, Hofburg and the parks surrounding. Walking distance to museum quarter. Light rail, underground and buses very close to take you to the suburbs. (Salt mine and underground lakes). Very responsive hosts and so nice!

Huge elegant apartment in a wonderful neighborhood

This apartment is gorgeous, huge, clean, and quiet. We just spent a wonderful 8 nights there. It’s an older building which means that the walls are very thick. It is so amazingly quiet and calm. You don’t hear any neighbour noise at all. We felt we were in 19th century Vienna, except with modern conveniences such as an excellent shower and a great king size bed. Maurizio and Christian live in the building and are a text away if you need anything. Maurizio greeted us during check in. We like to know that the owners are nearby in case anything goes wrong. The apartment is also in an excellent location. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the Hofburg Palace and is close to Museum’s Quartier. There are excellent restaurants, cafĂ©s, and pastry shops, literally minutes away. There is also a great grocery store about 50 metres from the apartment on the same street. We can’t say enough about this apartment. It couldn’t have been more ideal and certainly checked off all the boxes for us. It’s by far the best of any apartment we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. Anne & Andrew, Halifax, Canada

Not what we expected

We rented this apartment mainly because of who things. We wanted a quiet apartment near the city center and we wanted a washing machine to do laundry as this was a stop mid way through our vacation. In the beginning the host was responsive and answered questions quickly. As we approached our travel date I emailed the host to verify a few things and asked specifically about the washing machine as well as check in procedure etc. he took a few days to reply and told us the housekeeper would let us in. He said he’d show us how to use the washing machine when he “ got back” I responded that we needed to use the washer and when would they be back. A day or two later he says they’d be back by May 2. We were leaving on May 3. So
. When we got to the apartment we asked the housekeeper through google translate if she could help with the washer She said no. I later received a text from the owner telling me to WAIT (the way he typed it) until they got back. We needed to do laundry and we had to find a laundromat that afternoon. We were not waiting 3 more days to do laundry and waiting for them. And we were not told until it was too late that we couldn’t use the machine. In addition, I’m not sure how this place is described as “ elegant” at all. The furnishings are old, the bed in the bedroom had 2 pillows that were as flat as pancakes. The toilet room smelled like urine. It’s too bad as the area nice and there easy access to the main attractions. We left after one night and got a hotel.

Great apartment with great hosts in a great neighborhood!

We were two visiting Vienna for 4 days. I know Vienna well, including the area of this one, from previous visits and it seemed very promising. We were not disappointed-it is a real find. The apartment is nicely furnished with Viennese antiques. Bedroom has a comfortable large bed, the living room has a convertible sofa, also sufficiently comfortable for a stay of a week. The door between the rooms can be closed, with access to each independently via a long wide hallway and the kitchen area. The kitchen is pleasant and well-equipped, also with vintage china and flatware, and it has an antique table that is comfortable for several to sit at (we used it only for breakfast). The bathroom (with toilet in a separate area) is lovely marble and glass with a big shower. The heating (through the floor) was very effective. The apartment is on the ground floor and except for a little step coming through the door from the street, it is flat to get in-ideal for wheelchair or walker access. The windows of the living room and bedroom face the street but there are effective white curtains (for daytime privacy) as well as inside shutters( for nighttime privacy), and anyway the street is very small and quiet. Actually, it is one of the quietest apartments I have ever stayed in. The side of the hallway opposite the rooms has large glass doors to nice terrace with a table, chairs and many potted plants. We admired it but didn't use it (temp. too low). The neighborhood, Josefstadt, is full of interesting shops, restaurants, and coffee houses. Too many to mention but as an example, the famous cafe Eiles is only 3 minutes by foot. The hosts Christian and Maurizio were warm and welcoming. We arrive late, around midnight and Christian was immediately at the door to give us two sets of keys and a thorough walk-through. Further, one of us requested a chair or stool suitable for the shower and Christian bought one for us the next day. This was really a great help. Maurizio arranged for reasonably priced cars to pick us up at Vienna Airport and to return us to it. Also, we had a number of contacts with Maurizio via the Home Away messaging system. He was always very fast to respond. Too conclude: great apartment, great hosts, great area.

Séjour trÚs agréable

Christian et Maurizio sont des hÎtes faciles à rejoindre et trÚs accommodants. Leur appartement est spacieux, élégant et confortable. Le quartier est trÚs calme malgré la proximité du centre de Vienne. Tout est possible à pied mais nous avons aussi utilisé le tram car le systÚme de transport en commun fonctionne à merveille à Vienne. Il y a tout dans le quartier, épiceries et restaurants. Nous avons trouvé un restaurant italien qui nous a énormément plu « Il Sestante » . Nous recommandons fortement cet appartement. Diane de Montréal.

Un séjour parfait chez Christian et Maurizio

Nous sommes arrivĂ©s Ă  Vienne le 14 juillet, un peu inquiets Ă  cause du Covid, mais l'accueil trĂšs chaleureux de Christian et de Maurizio ont vite dissipĂ© nos angoisses. Nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite chez nous dans ce magnifique et spacieux appartement qui plus est situĂ© dans un trĂšs beau quartier Ă  10 minutes Ă  pied du centre historique sans en avoir les inconvĂ©nients. Nos hĂŽtes Ă©taient aux petits soins pour nous en anticipant mĂȘme parfois nos Ă©ventuelles besoins! Si nous pouvons retourner Ă  Vienne, nous n'envisageons absolument pas de sĂ©journer ailleurs que chez eux!

Eine zauberhafte Ferienwohnung

Un magnifique appartement, idĂ©alement situĂ©, dans un beau quartier de Vienne, Ă  proximitĂ© du mĂ©tro, des commerces, de la superbe Basilique Maria Treu, dans une petite rue trĂšs calme. J'ai apprĂ©ciĂ© le confort et la dĂ©coration, tout Ă©tait parfait, c'Ă©tait vraiment un havre de paix. Avec le mĂ©tro, on est trĂšs vite dans n'importe quel endroit oĂč l'on projette une visite ou un spectacle, ou encore une promenade dans un des jolis parcs de la ville. Un grand merci Ă  Christian et Ă  Maurizio pour leur gentillesse et leur accueil chaleureux!

Splendide appartement typique de la Vienne Baroque Ă  2 pas du Rathaus

L'appartement de Christian et Maurizio est tout simplement magnifique, dĂ©corĂ© avec goĂ»t et propre. La terrasse est un bonheur et trĂšs romantique. L'appartement est idĂ©alement situĂ© en plein centre de Vienne, Ă  20 min Ă  pied de Hofburg, du musĂ©e Albertina 25 min Ă  pied de Secession. Nous avons tout fait Ă  pied sans problĂšme. Nous avons pris le mĂ©tro uniquement pour se rendre Ă  Schönbrunn. Les Viennois sont adorables. Nous recommandons le concert de Mozart dans la salle dorĂ©e et surtout celui des 4 saisons dans l Ă©glise Karlskirche qui est tout simplement trĂšs beau avec un 1er violon extraordinaire ! SĂ©jour de 4 jours 1/2 parfait pour fĂȘter 20 ans de mariage et bonheur ! Vienne est une ville trĂšs sĂ»re et extrĂȘmement propre. Elle a gardĂ© son air d'autrefois et est une destination idĂ©ale pour des romantiques. Nous y retournerons certainement et bien sĂ»r chez Christian et Maurizio. Merci Ă  nos hĂŽtes pour leur trĂšs bon accueil et conseils. A bientĂŽt.

UN CHARMANT APPARTEMENT, PARFAITEMENT SITUE

Nous avons passĂ© une semaine inoubliable Ă  Vienne, Ă  deux, en ces fĂȘtes de fin d’annĂ©e. L’appartement de Christian et Maurizio y a Ă©tĂ© pour beaucoup. DĂ©corĂ© avec Ă©normĂ©ment de goĂ»t, spacieux, confortable, il est Ă©quipĂ© de tout ce l’on dont on peut avoir besoin au quotidien. Il est Ă©galement trĂšs bien situĂ©, dans le quartier des MusĂ©es, Ă  quelques pas de l’HĂŽtel de Ville. Il offre un accĂšs facile Ă  pied, par une promenade agrĂ©able Ă  travers un beau parc, au palais Hofburg, avec ses trĂšs riches collections, ainsi qu'Ă  l’École Espagnole d’Équitation et ses magnifiques dĂ©monstrations de haute-Ă©cole. Les rues commerçantes les plus prestigieuses sont ensuite Ă  quelques pas du Palais. Un arrĂȘt de tramway et une station de mĂ©tro, Ă  quelques dizaines de mĂštres de l’appartement, sont aussi bien pratiques pour les dĂ©placements plus longs ou lorsque le temps n’invite pas Ă  la flĂąnerie. L’appartement est extrĂȘmement calme. Il dispose d’une petite cours qui donne directement sur l’entrĂ©e et la cuisine et oĂč il doit ĂȘtre bien agrĂ©able de dĂ©jeuner Ă  la belle saison. Que dire de l’accueil de Christian et Maurizio, qui rĂ©sident dans l’appartement situĂ© juste au-dessus de celui de leurs hĂŽtes ? Il est chaleureux, attentif et empressĂ©. Un splendide arbre de NoĂ«l nous attendait, ainsi qu’une bouteille de vin pĂ©tillant et de dĂ©licieux chocolats. Christian parle un français parfait, il nous a fourni une foison de dĂ©tails touristiques et pratiques et nous a commandĂ© un taxi Ă  l’arrivĂ©e comme au dĂ©part. Nous nous sommes sentis accueillis par des amis. C’était notre troisiĂšme sĂ©jour Ă  Vienne et c’est, de loin, l’appartement que nous avons le plus apprĂ©ciĂ©. Merci encore Ă  tous les deux. Appartement idéalement situé et trÚs calme !

Appartement tout à fait conforme à la description et à nos attentes. TrÚs bien situé pour visiter Vienne. Nous avons loué cet appartement à 3 adultes et 2 enfants. Les propriétaires sont trÚs accueillants et ont contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. L'apartement est trÚs bien équipé, spacieux et trÚs calme.
