Welcome to Chrissy's Place at Lake Buchanan, your perfect getaway in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Start your day with stunning sunrises from the comfort of bed and enjoy panoramic lake views from the back deck. Whether you're a fishing enthusiast or simply seeking a relaxing day by the water, this home has something for all. Cast a line right from the shore or use the nearby neighborhood boat ramp to explore the lake by boat. Come for the breathtaking views, stay for ultimate relaxation!

HOME FEATURES: Smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room, dining table, ceiling fans, board games, covered deck with outdoor furniture and dining table, lower deck with additional seating and propane fire pit. *Booster seat available and located in furniture across from the dining room*
KITCHEN: Refrigerator, freezer, stove/oven, Keurig w/ K-Cups, microwave, dishwasher, dishware & flatware for 8, condiments, baking & grilling supplies, toaster
GENERAL: Free WiFi, washer & dryer, towels, linens, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, central air conditioning/heat, keyless entry, paper towels, trash bags
PARKING: 3 vehicles or 2 vehicles with space for a boat trailer up to 21ft.
FISHING: Lake Buchanan offers some of the best fishing in Highland Lakes. You are more the welcome to fish from the shoreline and/or use the kayaks provided. There are several fishing guides on the lake that are guaranteed to put you on fish, inquire when booking for a list of recommendations as they tend to book up very quickly in advance. There is also a Fish House located down the road from the property at Hi-Line Lake Resort (Inquire at Office for Fee/Rates). NOTE: A fishing license is required and can be purchased online for anyone 17 years of age or older.
LAKE ACCESS: You have full access to the lake shoreline to launch the kayaks. In addition, the private neighborhood boat ramp can be utilized to launch your own boat, please inquire prior your stay for access. NOTE: The conditions on Lake Buchanan can change on a dime due to high winds, please be careful while on the water and ensure you are wearing life jackets at all times while using the kayaks/paddleboards.
SUNRISE AND SUNSETS: The back of the home faces East and will deliver an amazing Sunrise. For spectacular Sunsets, walk/ride bikes down the Marina which is located at the end of the street directly in front of the house.
LOCAL CONVEINECES
- Binnie Boy's Burgers (1.5 Miles): Serves great burgers and breakfast. They are open to breakfast, lunch and dinner during the summer, they also have indoor/outdoor seating and live music at times (Hours vary- check their FB page and/or call for the most up-to-date hours).
- J&S Quickstop (1.8 Miles): Local gas station/convenience store that carries a little bit of everything! This is the closet place to grab your snacks, beverages, ice, fishing tackle, etc. along with any essentials you might have left behind.
- Huntâs Brothers Pizza (1.8 Miles): Located in J&S Quickstop, makes a great late night snack. Be sure to call ahead to order!
RESTURANTS/FOOD:
- The Barrel House: Restaurant and bar serving up locally sourced steaks, seafood and other southern cuisine along with craft cocktails and a full bar.
- Gio's Italian Restaurant: Serving up some of the best Italian food from chicken parm to pizza, along with a full bar.
-Chrissy's Homestyle Bakery: Make sure to try the German pretzel...it's delicious!
- Llano River Creamery and Kitchen: Great for lunch , burgers and ice cream!
(All of these places are our personal favorites and are roughly a 25 minute drive from the property)

- Longhorn Cavern State Park
- Inks Lake State Park
- Vanishing Texas River Cruises: Boat cruises offering excellent opportunities for viewing regional and migrating birds including the wintering Bald Eagles, native Texas Wildlife, cascading waterfalls and towering cliffs.- Wineries: Torr Na Nochs Vineyard and Winery / Fall Creek Vineyards / Perissos Vineyard and Winery
- Spider Mountain Bike Park: Great for adventure seekers, features a chair lift and bike trails for all skill levels.
- Canyon of the Eagles: Restaurant with great views and access to hiking trails for a fee
NOTE FROM OWNER: This property just underwent a complete renovation including the thoughtfully curated furnishings. We want you to enjoy everything Chrissy's Place has to offer, and ask that you please understand that we have agreed to share our home with you with the expectation that you will treat it respectfully.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
- No smoking
- No pets allowed
- No events, parties, or large gatherings. We respect our neighbors and the peacefulness this community offers. If this rule is not followed, you will be asked to leave/removed from the property and no refund will be issued.
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in
- This single-story home requires 1 step to enter at the front porch. Additional exterior stairs are required to leave the deck in the backyard and reach the lakefront.
- Lake Buchanan is NOT a constant-level lake and water levels will fluctuate depending on the weather. However, you will ALWAYS have an unobstructed view at this property despite the water level.
- We have three security cameras on the property, as your safety matters. Camera 1 is on the front corner and faces the driveway, Camera 2 is on the back corner and faces toward the lower deck and fire pit. Camera 3 is a Ring doorbell at the front entryway. The cameras are outward facing and do not look into interior spaces. The cameras record video and sound when activated by motion.
- Outside of the local convenience store, there are no grocery stores within 25 minutes of the property. We recommend you bring whatever food/snacks with you for your stay. If you're coming in through Kingsland or Burnet, there are HEB's in both locations. If you come in through Llano, there is a Lowe's Market (local grocery store).
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire property and home via keypad on front door. You will also have access to the neighborhood park and shoreline. Boat ramp/launch is also available with advance notice.
