Copper Lady Cottage - Creekside 3 BR, 2BA, Hot Tub, Firepit
Cozy, convenient, and creek side â potentially the three best words in a vacation rental description you can hear and thatâs exactly what you will find at Copper Lady Cottage. This little bit of heaven on Jonathan Creek is the perfect spot for friends and family. Sitting directly off US 19, across the creek from Joeyâs Pancake House only steps away from Maggie Valley, this amazing cottage is great for any type of vacation travel.
Enjoy taking in the view looking directly out onto Jonathan Creek and with a spacious firepit surrounded by colorful Adirondak chairs. Rain or shine, enjoy grilling and dining on the covered back porch with its gas grill and ample outdoor seating, allowing you to eat under the stars or rock your night away overlooking the creek. Afterwards, take advantage of the bubbling 6-person hot tub also overlooking the creek. There are board games and cards and four high-definition Smart TVs with Spectrum high speed internet, Wi-Fi and streaming DirecTV making it easy to keep everyone in your group entertained!
The fully stocked kitchen, formal dining room and living space open to the covered deck, convenient for going from kitchen to outdoor living. Enjoy the overstuffed couch by the gas fireplace, perfect for cozying up to. A laundry area containing a full-size washer and dryer round out this home away from home.
This property has one king primary bedroom and bath on the main floor and one king bedroom and one queen bedroom with guest bath on the upper level.
Approach to this home is right off of US 19 and is perfect for those traveling by motorcycle or pulling a trailer as it has parking for truck and motorcycle trailer. Plus, thereâs perfect ingress, hard to come by in these mountain homes. The turnoff into the homeâs community is a flat fully paved state road and directly off the main road leading out of Maggie Valley. Four-wheel drive, all-wheel drive and/or chains may be required during any type of snow or ice event on the roads surrounding the area.
Please note this property is dog friendly, maximum 1 medium or 2 small dogs. Please contact the Property Manager at Maggie Mountain Vacations as there will be an additional non-refundable pet fee, not included in the base rent. Weâll need to know breed, weight and number of pets you will be bringing, during your stay, some restrictions apply. Unauthorized pets on property will incur a $300 per pet penalty.
Copper Lady Cottage is right in the middle of all the action in Maggie Valley and only a few minutes' drive to Cataloochee Ski Area (known for being one of the first ski resorts in the US to open each year), Tube World (snow tubing), Wheels Through Time (a historic motorcycle museum featured on the History Channel's âAmerican Pickersâ), horseback riding and only a few miles from golfing.
In about 20 minutes, you could be in Waynesville at Ingles and Publix grocery stores, Walmart or head to Main Street in Waynesville and enjoy additional shopping, dining, and sightseeing. This home is about a 20-minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and Harrah's Cherokee Casino (even if you do not gamble, Harrah's has some of the best restaurants around), Pisgah National Forest, several golf courses, and just west of Cherokee is Bryson City (home of the Great Smoky Mountain Railway and âPolar Expressâ during the Christmas Holiday).
A little more than 50 minutes away, youâll arrive in Asheville at the Biltmore Estate & Winery (America's largest and most visited privately-owned home), many great restaurants and micro-breweries, and 1 hour and 30 minutes away is Transylvania County (home of the most waterfalls in the United States), and over 100 Antique Shops.
Approximately, 1 hour away heading south to Hendersonville, you can visit Sierra Nevada Brewery (with their enormous dining and Tap Room), gem mining, white water rafting, zip-lining and much more in the surrounding areas.
You are just under 1 hour 35 minutes to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee (home of Dollywood).
