I have stayed all over the world in rental properties, and this was by far the most kind and efficient hosts I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Not only that, the property is 10/10! This was a reconnecting get away for me and my fiancé, who have two kids and full time jobs. I cannot explain how perfect this place feels. Everything down to the tiniest detail is in place. There was no better host than Crystal and her husband. We had a bit of technical difficulties at first, ( to no ones default. ) , but they handled it with ease and professionalism. I could go on and on about the location, the art, the beauty of the place… but I will just say this. Do not hesitate, BOOK YOUR STAY! You will not regret it.

This place was exactly what we needed! This private cozy little spot was nestled within tall trees that can be viewed through the windows upon awakening in the morning to the sounds of birds and the still of the morning. I awoke at night to see a sliver of the moon and stars shining though the tall windows near the bathroom. The hot tub was a warm blanket on a cool night after our prime rib dinner at nearby Gaskin’s restaurant. Even with neighbors it was so quiet since the twin Firefly bungalows were not connected. The hosts were so responsive and accommodating even with the power outage that occurred a couple of hours before we got there as we drove through torrential thunderstorms from KC. They were on the ball providing us with a power bank to charge our electronics as well as candles, but we saw it as an adventure and found the concession stand at The Passion Play open despite almost all businesses closed due to no power. We returned that night with power restored. Word to the wise: bring your truck or SUV and leave your car at home. This was a perfectly serene getaway and exactly the break we needed form the hustle and bustle of city life. We could’ve stayed an entire week!

We forgot our fancy clothes so we stopped in Roger’s and bought new fancy clothes! This is on the deck.

We loved that this deck was not accessible any other way except through the sliding doors of our cozy cottage.
