The condo complex was great, very clean, great views, quiet didn’t even hear neighbors or people walking by in front. Big bathrooms and beds were comfortable but pillows were flat. It was the perfect place for our group.

Location was great. Never saw/met the "host." Thought it odd that there were two bathrooms and one bedroom upstairs but three bedrooms and just one bathroom downstairs. Should have more ways to hang/store towels in each of the bathrooms as there was only one towel bar and no place at all to store clean towels. Would be easy to add two more towel bars in each bathroom for used towels and some shelving to store clean towels.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed the location and appreciate your suggestions regarding additional towel bars and shelving in the bathrooms. Those are helpful recommendations that we will pass along to the property owner for consideration. Our check-in process is designed to be contactless for our guests’ convenience, which is why you may not meet a host in person, but our local team is available throughout your stay if assistance is needed. We appreciate you staying with us and hope to welcome you back to Put-in-Bay in the future!

Mis understand and frustrated

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had to cancel due a death in the family so I rescheduled the following week. I purchased two insurance policies I am still dealing with the insurance company to get a full refund from the cancellation of our first trip. This could have been very easy in handling my first refund however the almighty dollar persuaded the booking not to honor a full refund!! The amount of money I spent on this vacation we could have went to an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean. Put in Bay is nice we had a good time but in my honest opinion not worth the cash value wise. I am still perusing a full refund from Generali the insurance company but the process is not the best communication wise and service wise
VrboOwner a répondu le 25 sept. 2026
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear about the loss in your family. We’re glad you were ultimately able to reschedule your trip and enjoy your time at Put-in-Bay. We do want to clarify the refund situation. Your reservation was booked through Airbnb, and the travel insurance was purchased separately through a third-party insurance provider. Because the insurance policy was not purchased through us, we have no control over the insurance claim or refund process and cannot override the terms of a reservation booked and paid for through Airbnb. We did refund the separate 13% in taxes that we were able to refund on our end. Unfortunately, we simply did not have the ability to override and refund the entire Airbnb reservation, particularly when the travel insurance covering the cancellation was purchased through an outside company. We understand how frustrating the insurance claim process can be, especially while dealing with a death in the family, and we hope Generali is able to resolve the remaining claim for you soon. We appreciate you staying with us and are glad to hear that you ultimately had a good time at Put-in-Bay.
