Maison charmante de 1910 sur la rue principale - Jardin paysager parfait pour les petits événements

Cette charmante maison de 1910 se trouve sur la rue principale de la vieille ville de Lafayette. Il se trouve en face des restaurants, un café et à quelques pâtés de maisons d'un centre de récréation et du Festival Plaza. La cour arrière magnifiquement ajourée est parfaite pour les petits événements. Nous disposons d'une salle de bain, d'une douche et d'une chambre à coucher principale, entièrement accessible en fauteuil roulant.

Une fois par semaine, il y a un marché des agriculteurs à quelques pâtés de maisons de la rue dans le parking de la fleuriste Lafayette. Profitez du parc et promenez-vous dans le lac Waneka, où les bateaux à rames sont disponibles à la location entre le mémorial et la fête du travail. Les enfants peuvent profiter de traverser la fontaine d'eau à quelques pâtés de maisons de Festival Plaza et déguster de la glace chez Eats and Sweets. Le WOW! Le musée des enfants se trouve également à quelques pâtés de maisons de notre propriété. Plus tard dans la journée, vous pouvez profiter de plusieurs brasseries locales à quelques pas.

Le centre commercial Pearl Street à Boulder se trouve à seulement 10 miles, ainsi que des sentiers de randonnée dans le magnifique parc Chautauqua. Beaucoup de domaines skiables tels que Eldora, Winter Park, Breckenridge et Vail ne sont qu'à une heure ou demie de route.

Mon mari Pete et moi-même avons vécu à Lafayette pendant de nombreuses années. Nous aimons la région du comté de Boulder et les gens de cette communauté. Mon rêve était de fournir un lieu d'hébergement confortable pour les invités et surtout les familles des habitants pour rester en visite. Nous voulions offrir un bel espace abordable à l'extérieur pour que les gens aient un petit rassemblement ou une fête. Nous nous sommes associés à des fournisseurs de restauration incroyables que nous aimerions recommander si vous avez un événement spécial à l'esprit. What a wonderful place to stay! Very clean and well-appointed with all the things you'd need for a great stay. The home is exceptionally charming and very cozy. Located close to great shops and restaurants, as well as being convenient for travel to Boulder and Denver. Everyone in our group said they slept so well in the comfy beds and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was great with communication as well! Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

This house was very clean and has a wonderful kitchen/dining area. The front porch was great for relaxing and people watching. There are shops & dining near. During the fall there is an amazing Sunday farmers market just a block away. This does tend to be a busy street.

Wonderful stay in Lafayette

Home was well furnished and sited in downtown area with art fest nearby on the first night that owner notified us of that we had a good time at. Plenty of restaurants available nearby.

This is a gorgeous historical property that's been lovingly stored. Easy walking distance to multiple restaurants and shops. The host was very easy to work with and the property was clean. Highly recommend as a stay in Colorado.

Charming! Great Location!

We loved staying at this charming home. It was a perfect home base, as we spent time in Denver and the Boulder areas. The home had everything we needed and was clean! We especially enjoyed walking across the street for breakfast and down the road for dinners. Highly recommend!

Great house

Was a really nice house - looks just like the photos. There's also a great little gravel sitting area outside as well. Right in the middle of downtown - was walking distance to the shops/restaurants. Owner was welcoming and very helpful. Really enjoyed our time there.

My husband Pete and I have lived in Lafayette for many years. My husband grew up on the East Coast and I am originally from North Dakota. We met and married in Colorado in 1993. We love the Boulder county area and the people in this community. Our family enjoys hiking, biking, snow skiing, riding horses and most any outdoor activity. My dream was to provide a cozy lodging place for guests and especially the families of locals to stay while visiting. We wanted to provide a beautiful outdoor affordable space for people to have a small gathering or party. We have partnered with some amazing caterers that we would love to recommend if you have a special event in mind. (please contact us for catering and event pricing)

We live just minutes away, and are always available to answer any questions you might have about the area or to help with anything you might need.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We purchased this property in 1996, about the time our first child was born, and opened a gift shop. Old Town Lafayette was starting a wonderful transition as the state highway was routed away from downtown. We wanted to be a part of this change as Public Road became walkable, new restaurants and brewpubs opened, and the properties nearby evolved.

Shortly after our second child was born, we decided to close the gift shop and began renting the property. It has been used as a vintage clothing store, a salon and most recently, an acupuncture office. It's taken some time for the town to come into its own, but it's almost to what we envisioned 20 years ago.

Now, traffic moves more slowly; the sidewalks are used later into the evenings; there are great places to dine, snack or just sit and watch kids play. We took over use of the property again in 2017 to create a nice place for visitors to stay and enjoy the town we've come to love.

We have a wheelchair accessible, fully ADA compliant bathroom, shower and sleeping area.

Our property is in the heart of Old Town Lafayette. It is located right on Main Street where you can sit on the front porch to people watch and listen to local musicians perform at the restaurant or coffee shop across the street. There is also a private sitting area on the back side of the house. The large,beautifully landscaped back yard is perfect for small events.

The House Inn Old Town serves as both a residential rental, and as a small event venue.

Residential Rental:
When booking through Home Away, the published rates apply to lodging and personal use of the property. Up to 8 guests may stay and use the house, outdoor sitting areas and landscaped yard.

Event Venue:
Use of the property for events requires a separate contract and additional rates apply. Event reservations include use of the “serving shed”; and use of the landscaped yard to entertain guests not staying at The House Inn.
