Nathan, this absolutely made my day! Congratulations to your son and his new spouse — what a beautiful reason to visit the area. Little Point Clear is such a special spot and I'm so glad the property added to the magic of the weekend rather than just being a place to sleep. You and your family were wonderful guests and I'd be honored to have you back in a heartbeat. Wishing the newlyweds a lifetime of happiness!

The property was all we could have hoped for. Style was spot on as were the rooms and accommodations. The downstairs stained concrete living was ideal for a gathering of friends and then to flow out on the covered porch was the perfect pairing. Dual kitchens were over the top. Communication and check in was lovely through our hospitable host. We all truly loved the space.

We had such a great stay! Sheri is a great host and easy to chat with. The house was the perfect size for our big group and had plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. Everything was extremely clean when we arrived, and all of the instructions and communication were very clear and easy to follow. One of our favorite parts was the screened-in porch, especially since it rained during our stay, it gave us the perfect place to relax and still enjoy being outside. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling with a group!

A beautiful home in a quiet location with easy access to Hwy 98.Nine adults and 4 kids gathered to celebrate Dad’s birthday. We all slept comfortably & loved that there was no shortage of restrooms! The downstairs was perfect for the younger ones to play, and the adults enjoyed lounging in the screened porches. Both kitchens were thoughtfully stocked with all necessities, plus small appliances like rice cookers, air fryers, and even 3 options for making coffee. Nothing was lacking— we were able to prepare meals together in the kitchens with the cooking and serving ware provided. Sheri was super friendly and easy to communicate with; she answered all of our questions prior to our visit, and was available to help us trouble shoot potential issues when we arrived. Our door code was sent ahead of time, and check in was a breeze. Everyone felt at home and had a great time during our stay. We would love to come back again!

It sounds like you really made use of all the space, from the screened porches to both kitchens! I love hearing that the little details (like the coffee options!) made a difference. You were all fantastic guests, and it would be my pleasure to host your family again anytime. Thanks for taking such great care of the home! 🎉

The family enjoyed the location and the upstairs space however there was an issue with musty smelly odor downstairs. My guests did not stay downstairs when cooking or eating. We had all gatherings upstairs with the exception of the back screened. Porch. There were a few issues with water leaking from the plumbing upstairs into the lower floor. Though a very lovely upstairs and lovely gourmet kitchens the downstairs is very open with only privacy in the one bedroom. The plumbing leak from upstairs thru downstairs light was being addressed after we left. The trundle bed that turned into a king bed was broke so I slept on the top of the trundle bed and my husband slept on sofa. Neither of us could sleep on the folding cot. I would not return to this VRBO.

Thank you for the feedback Carmella. The trundle bed and the tub overflow were genuine issues and I'm sorry for the inconvenience — both were addressed promptly and refunds were provided. Regarding the odor: two contractors and a neighbor each visited independently during your stay and found no detectable smell, which is consistent with the experience of every guest before and since. We take every concern seriously and continue to maintain the property to a high standard. We're glad the upstairs, the screened porch, and the location added to your family's time together. We wish you all well.

I’m an adventurous spirit who loves exploring new places, cultures, experiences and especially hidden gems off the beaten path.

Family means the world to me, and I enjoy creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests because I believe every stay should feel like coming home. Hosting allows me to connect with fellow explorers and share the joy of discovering new places, or simply creating an inviting space for you to unwind.

Happy Trails!

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

The privacy and serenity of the location and the fact that it is located on a canal with direct access to Weeks Bay, one of the most ecologically diverse places in the world drew me in. I wanted to be on the water without being directly on the bay because lots are smaller there and weather less favorable.

The location is close enough to downtown Fairhope and a variety of top notch restaurants to feel like a member of the community but being in a rural suburban neighborhood meant that I could avoid the congestion of town.

That being said, when I first purchased the property it was ROUGH. Every surface needed to be modernized, and the house was "taken down to the studs." Two years of hard work and living on the property through all of the challenges of remodeling, I am proud to offer a completely renovated property with high end finishes to my guests. l loved living there, enjoy staying there and hope you will too.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

- contemporary waterfront living
- two separate living spaces
- integrated with the serenity of nature, but screened in outdoor spaces means wildlife and insects won't get too close!
- across the street from a nature preserve
- modern upscale design
