Indoor Fireplace:

Please note that the indoor fireplace is intended for photography and decorative purposes only. It is not to be used for burning wood, gas, or any other materials. For safety and liability reasons, any use of fire in the indoor fireplace is strictly prohibited.



Outdoor Fire Pit:

We kindly ask all guests to ensure that the outdoor fire pit located in the backyard is completely turned off after use. Additionally, please observe all local fire warnings and restrictions in the area. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in fines or other penalties.

Guest Access:

The home is all yours. You have your own entrance, parking, and full reign of the space. You will enter the home using a door equipped with keyless entry (code provided before check in) which adds ease and flexibility to check in and check out.



The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood offers a serene and picturesque setting, ideal for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty.Located near Truman Lake, residents enjoy seasonal lake views and easy access to waterfront activities. The area is characterized by spacious lots that often border Corps of Engineers land, providing a sense of seclusion and direct pathways to the lake.​



Other Things to Note:

HOUSE RULES:

No Smoking Inside, NO PARTIES. No Gatherings. Be kind to the neighbors. Do not block their parking spots/driveways. If you BREAK THE NO PARTY RULE, you will be asked to leave and forfeit your rent. We have the right to assess a $1000 fine if these rules are violated. This home is in a residential neighborhood so please observe the quiet times— 10:00pm to 7:00am.



Disclaimer- We have an EXTERIOR Security camera located in the entrance of our home that record activity when motion is detected. The exterior security camera is in place to ensure we are in compliance with our House Rules. Footage remains private and is used to monitor occupancy, No Animal/Pet Policy, No Smoking Policy, No Party/Guests or Visitor Policy, and for liability purposes.

Adherence to occupancy policies and limits is strictly enforced. These policies are in place for your safety, as well as the protection of the vacation home. Make sure the information above regarding the number of adults, children is correct.

*Deers are prevalent at night near the area so exercise caution when driving around especially at night. This is a quiet, closely knit community and any guests disrespecting owners and other guests will be reported , the terms of their stay cancelled and any monies paid will be forfeited as well as the ramifications of any additional civil or criminal charges. We work to cater to those whom enjoy some quiet lake time during their stay and we discourage guests looking for a place to party from booking our home.



Interaction with Guests:

You are welcome to contact us with questions through the Airbnb app should anything come up during your stay— we are not far away.. but we do not interact directly with guests unless it’s necessary. We make sure you feel like you're in your home-away-from-home, free of intrusion.
