GRANDE CABANE DE MONTAGNE AVEC UNE TOUCHE PERSONNELLE

À seulement 25 miles de l'entrée nord du parc national de Yosemite, (une heure de route de la vallée de Yosemite), vous vous trouverez dans une maison entièrement meublée qui est la parfaite escapade. Il a une vue imprenable sur une belle prairie de 100 acres et se trouve dans la forêt nationale de Stanislaus. Si vous cherchez la solitude, les jours de soleil et les nuits étoilées dans les pins, alors vous allez adorer cette maison. À 3200 pieds, nous sommes juste au-dessus de la marque de neige, mais en dessous de la ligne de blizzard. Nous sommes juste ½ mile de l'épicerie ou de la station service la plus proche et à 10 minutes (8 miles) de l'autoroute 120.
Notre propriété de vacances peut accueillir confortablement 6+. Il a trois chambres à coucher; la chambre principale a un lit réglable king size et une salle de bain privée complète. Les deux chambres plus petites ont des lits queen et partagent une salle de bain complète. Les enfants ou aventuriers dans l'âme pourraient dormir sur des lits d'air de taille de reine dans une zone de garage bien finie en été. (voir les images)
Il y a un accès facile à la maison par le garage et la porte d'entrée. Il y a une terrasse à l'arrière de la maison et le cadre est très privé. Il y a un accès à internet et il y a une télé.
La grande cuisine est entièrement équipée pour tous vos besoins de cuisine et a granit partout. Il comprend une grande île pour cuisiner ou manger. Il y a un barbecue à gaz dans la cour arrière.
Le bain à remous est fabuleux pour se détendre à tout moment, mais surtout sous les étoiles la nuit. Il a des jets de thérapie pour les muscles fatigués après une longue journée de visites ou de randonnée.

Everything was great. We tried to use the hot tub but it was cold. We managed to increase the temp but it took a while. We also tried to latch the cover back up but couldn’t do it. Aside from that, great stay!

Fantastic Place to Stay

Everything about this place is perfect for anyone who wants to visit Yosemite. We have stayed twice, the first just myself and my wife (around 12 years ago) and secondly with our 3 kids (all under 10). We all think it's a great place and ideal for a relaxing after a long day walking or just for having a day off from the parks.If anyone is thinking of booking, we would highly recommend that you do!

Amazing!!!

Our family of five spent an amazing 10 days here. The cabin was wonderful, clean, cozy, plenty of space, a quiet area, and at a great location. We loved watching the animals in the field out front. Easy access to Yosemite NP which we loved. We also loved relaxing out back on the deck and in the hot tub after spending most days hiking. Property manager was great to work with. We absolutely recommend this cabin!

Great as usual

Stayed for almost a week and drove into Yosemite every day for great summer fun. Great place to come back to with a full kitchen, AC, dishwasher, washer and dryer, all great for a family with a kid or kids like ours.

Family vacation to Yosemite

The location is 30 min outside of Yosemite. It’s 90 minutes to the valley where most of the action happens . The master bed with dull adjustable Tempur-pedic mattresses was ver comfy. One room has a full or queen and the other room has 2 full or queen beds. The outdoor space has a little bit of everything: hot tub dining area multiple seating areas, activities like tether ball, ladder ball and others. Lovely view, quiet and secluded.

Beautiful Home

We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful, quiet, home and location. Out first trip to Yosemite which we also enjoyed. House is clean and well stocked. Our only glitch was with VRBO, not the host. Host solved the issue quickly.

Great home with lots of activities

We stayed for a girls' trip and highly recommend this house for others to stay in. It was an hour's drive to Yosemite and we really enjoyed eating dinner at Tangled Heart Cafe which is just outside of Groveland. The house has comfortable beds, large kitchen, and lots of room to relax. It was nice to be able to cook and do laundry. We really enjoyed all the outdoor activities which included a jacuzzi hot tub, tree house, swings, horseshoe pit, ladder toss game, mini golf putting green, and zip line. It was a very quiet and peaceful area. Doug is a very responsive and helpful host.

We really enjoyed our stay since the house was exremley comfortable equipped with everything. It felt as though we were in our home. There was satelite TV, Vifi many games to enjoy and the luxurious jacuzzi.

It was a nice experience. The house was clean, comfortable and location was nice and peaceful. The hot tub was very helpful after a day in Yosemite. The general store was helpful by being down the street but they do close at 6:55 sharp. Overall we had a lot of fun and relaxing time.

Excellent property!

The home was just as advertised. Very comfortable and had everything you would need. The kitchen was well stocked and the hot tub in the evening was fantastic. We spent most of our time hiking in Yosemite which was about 45 minutes away but a beautiful drive. The area is quiet but we found stores and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend this rental. This is someones home, not a rental property. It is well cared for and maintained. Thank you for sharing.

Great place to stay

After driving at night through what looked like deserted gold mine villages where gun-slingers might emerge at any moment, your house was so welcome! We immediately felt at home with some lovely friendly touches and messages from Doug and Lori. In the light of the morning we could see the great location, very rural and peaceful with well-stocked shops very close. Yosemite itself is spectacular, although it was very busy on an August weekend - we're told weekdays are a better time to visit. We also enjoyed visiting the nearby towns of Coultersville and Groveland and the rainbow pool is great for a swim or leaping off rocks for the more adventurous. It was great to come home to a comfortable house and lie out in the hot tub watching stars and the occasional shooting star. I would definitely recommend this house.

Yosemite Home Base

Stayed in Doug & Lori's beautiful home as a base camp for our Yosemite trip. It was a great location about 30-40 minute drive each day into the park. Home was wonderful, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. Really enjoyed the "mountain mini golf" in the yard one evening and fantastic garage/patio set up with gas grill for dinner outside one evening. Got the chance to meet Doug the owner who could not have been more helpful about things to see in the park. Had one small issue which was taken care of almost immediately on a Sunday evening of a holiday weekend (thanks Al!). If you want the comfort of home after a great day hiking, this is the place for you. Oh yea,the hot tub was a great elixir for sore muscles too!

Best deal near Yosemite

Our family (2 people & 19 yr. old) stayed 6 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed it! Yosemite Park entrance is not far away, around 35-40 minutes and another 35-40 to the Valley floor. Gas station and grocery store are nearby, and the towns of Groveland and Coulterville. The property was very well maintained, clean. There were many amenities available for all ages. We enjoyed the hot tub,tree swing, mini golf, treadmill, etc.. along with the basic amenities of washer,dryer, kitchen, and Nice Big Walk in Shower! (FYI-there is no hairdryer, so may want to bring your own) It was so nice to relax here after a day in the park. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely try to come back with more family! Thanks Doug and Lori!

Yosemite visit

We had a fantastic visit to Yosemite National Park and this house was great. We were five friends staying together. The house easily fit all of us with a well equipped kitchen, excellent laundry, wifi, fire pit and hot tub. The hot tub and fire pit were a fantastic end to a day spent hiking in the park. Doug was a fantastic host who was great at communicating all necessary details. The local people were very friendly and helpful for directions and suggestions. The store up the road is within walking distance and is really well stocked with nice food. The drive to the park take approx 40min but is very scenic with great stops along the way. We went to Rainbow pool which is a waterfall and waterhole about 20mins drive from the house. We also completed the upper yosemite falls track which is not for the faint hearted. Difficult track but the views at the top were worth it.

Amazing !

Pictures dont do justice. This house is amazing. It is a newer house that is extremely clean. The best part of this house is the view from the front. I remember telling my girlfriend I would wash dishes everyday if I had this view from my kitchen window. We stayed at this house because we wanted to visit Yosemite. Its about a 30 minute drive to the gates of Yosemite. But it seems quicker than that because the views are amazing on the drive up there. Even the drive up to the house had amazing views, I dont know how many times we stopped to take pictures. I would defiantely recommend this property. I plan on taking my parents sometime in summer. Doug is a great guy, he is easy to get a hold of and is very responsive with his emails. Thanks again Doug. Oh, and when we pulled up to the property early Saturday morning, we saw about 9 deer in the yard. It was a nice welcoming ;)

Great house, Great location, quiet and peaceful. Great neighbor too. PG&E was having a power outage the next day and he told us to let him know if we needed anything. Owner/Property manager were also very accommodating ! Thanks for everything!

Great location, good value, well presented property.

A really well presented property, inside and out. Beautiful rural location. We used it as a base for exploring Yosemite and the owner gave us some good advice about when to visit Yosemite (to avoid peak crowds) that proved very useful. A really enjoyable stay.

Clean spacious home with great amenities

We had a nice time staying here in this very clean and large house. It was able to accommodate sleeping for all of our guests. There are a lot of places to enjoy the property like the back and front seating areas and hot tub. Note: the garage is converted into an extra room and is not air-conditioned. So if it is very hot outside, you can't sleep in this space.

Lori and I met while we were young and only 17 while attending college up in Idaho. In 2012 Doug and I retired and we purchased this home as our vacation dream home. We love it so much that we enjoy staying here whenever we can. The mountains are beautiful and it is very peaceful here. Lori and I have 5 children and 18 grand children with one on the way. We enjoy camping, traveling, but mostly just doing work around our homes.
and visiting with friends.

We chose this property because we enjoy mountain living without the hustle and bustle of resort areas. Little traffic and yet close to Yosemite and wonderful hiking adventures.

Very quiet, small town along the original John Muir trail, enjoy the stars-Yosemite and the nearby historic town of Coulterville.
Also near by is the best swimming waterfall anywhere in the Park. Look up Rainbow Pool and realize its only 10 miles from us.
