Starry Skies Campout

Set yourself up in our lovely, private green-gold meadow alive with the vibrance of nature



Starry Skies Campout is the perfect place for reclaiming precious downtime. The meadow offers several camping spots to choose from and is your private space while there. A bathroom is available in the nearby laundry house.  If you RV rather than tent, you will look out from the top of the meadow.  *THERE ARE NO CABINS AT STARRY SKIES CAMPOUT! Please see our other listings if you'd like to stay in a cabin.



Converse with nature and breathe deeply as you walk in the woods, meander in the meadow, or picnic creekside on our River Lookout. Walk our wondrous labyrinth, cozy up ‘round a crackling fire, find simplicity in old-fashioned board games, corn hole or horseshoes.



Don’t forget to look for the magnificent laser show the magical stars put on at night. Gentle birdsong will greet you in the morning, and our little frogs in the lower meadow pond will sing you to sleep at night.

Spice up your stay by renting a motorcycle, playing frisbee golf, or softball. To experience Southern Oregon’s breathtaking beauty and gorgeous landscapes, check out our Nearby Fun. Adventures await at our world-class casino a mere 15 minutes away, wine tours, hiking, mountain biking, scenic drives, rafting, swimming holes, fishing, and much more in our outdoor mecca!

Do you need an early check-in or late check-out? Do you want to order firewood or get an EV charge? What about shower access or tent set-up? Choose your add-ons at check-out, and then prepare to breathe, nurture, and restore yourself with us!



ALERT:



Fire Season is a very real deal here in the forest. Once fire season begins, our firepits are closed. It's critical to be insanely careful with anything resembling open flames. Only propane stoves on a hard surface (not on the ground) are allowed if you're camping. Be sure to check with us before lighting any flames.



No charcoal grills or candles are allowed at any time. The only designated spot for smoking is on our Chop Shop Patio.

I also assist a really awesome real estate broker. Happily married for 32 years (holy cow), with our daughter standing on her own 2 feet now. If you're lucky enough to see her, our black cat Bastet has her own following & the sound of my cello is calling me... Can't wait to meet you!

Your Own Private Camp Ground!!!
Your choice - sleep near the top of the meadow or find your own nook and wake up to Bird sounds galore! Our healthy & diverse ecosystem of 13 acres are Sanctuary and host to a Lot of Wildlife - birds, fox, squirrel, skunk, turkey, deer, wolf, cougar & black bear! Bring boots and a good coat for exploring the meadow, pond, woods & stream. Stare at the stars & sing around the fire pit into the night.
Campers & Vans shorter than 25 feet in length are invited, or a full-on Nature experience – bring your own tent! There's a special hang-out spot nearby under the forest canopy in the shade & picnic table at the upper meadow. Our nearby Laundry House is your restroom.

Don't have a tent? Coming in late? We can set up our 4-person tent for you $25 *IF we are on the property!
We cannot accommodate Trailers (pulled by a vehicle) at this time.

Your Nature Escape starts when you pull off the road. Scope out the place & find your Magic spot to set up your tent, either near the top of the meadow or find your own nook – it's part of the Adventure!
There is a picnic table nearby where you can set up your gas/propane cooking stove and kitchen. Access to the shared bathroom & shower is in the laundry house a little walk up the driveway near the Main House.

We welcome your wandering & hope you savor the 13-acre property by strolling through the meadow below, and enter the woods anywhere past the pond to discover the sweet trail by the bubbling brook. Go left to find the Pondering Patio & Explore to your heart's content! The roads & creek are our property boundaries. Enjoy!
