Stunning tranquil location

We had a lovely time in Villa Farfalla. The property is very well equipped, our 3 year old especially loved playing with the toys and in the pool. We enjoyed visiting the local village, nearby beaches and relaxing by the pool while taking in the stunning views. Ana Maria and Domenico also provided us with a fabulous seafood dinner. Thanks for your hospitality, Alex.

A truly unforgettable stay in the heart of Abruzzo. This villa is a hidden gem surrounded by endless vineyards, olive groves, and fig trees — a place where nature embraces you from every angle. The panoramic views are simply breathtaking, especially from the private pool, where mornings feel magical and evenings turn into golden sunsets over the hills. The villa offers complete peace and quiet, making it the ideal escape from the noise and rush of city life. Every moment here feels slow, calm, and deeply relaxing. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, enjoying a glass of local wine on the terrace, or waking up to birdsong and fresh countryside air, this place restores your energy in the most beautiful way.A perfect retreat for anyone seeking serenity, nature, and authentic Italian charm.

Fantastic view

We had a great stay. We were with a group of five people and there was plenty of room for everybody! The view is amazing. You can see the mountains and the see. Because of the high temperature the swimmingpool was nice and refreshing. Check in was quick and easy! They tell you everything you need to know about the house.

Dear Chelsea, Thank you for your lovely review. I’m delighted you enjoyed the pool and the views. It’s a special place we think. Glad too that you enjoyed our newly installed air conditioning. We were uncertain about putting it in for environmental reasons. However as it’s only in the bedrooms we thought it would be beneficial for cooling the rooms to sleep in. Thanks again and we hope to see you back at Farfalla sometime in the future to spend time with all your Italian family. Best wishes Vivien

An extended-family holiday to visit the war graves.

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous villa. Stunning views to both snow capped mountains and the sea. Proximity to the mountains meant we could show my 9 year old Australian nephew snow for the first time, and spend the following day on the beach. A very moving visit the Sangro River War Graves, where we took my Dad to visit his uncles grave for the first time. Beautiful, peaceful place which is just wonderfully kept. Would absolutely stay again, I expect it’s even better in high season when the pool is in use.

We always take our friends there. I loved your description of the mountains and how lovely to be able to see snow and then the beach the following day. It is one of the best things about our area I think. You would be very welcome if you decide to come back. Thank you again. Vivien.

Beautiful villa with stunning views

We loved our stay here, the villa is situated in a stunning spot and within an easy drive of Pescara (take the coast road from the airport for a slower journey with lovely views). Everything was well equipped and comfortable. Vivien and Rob were on hand for any queries and very responsive. If you like wildlife you will be in your element as you can sit by the pool bird watching for hours, the view extends all the way to the sea, and there are various walks from the villa as well. We had four adults staying, with plenty of room. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Amazing!

We spent one week in that beautiful Villa. I have so say only one week because we all agreed we could have spent month. The house, garden and pool were very clean and you could just feel comfortable and relax. I have experienced so many accommodations in my life but this one was really the best ever. Even the contact with the owner Vivien (not living in Italy) was very warm and friendly. She is really taking care of her guests and want them to enjoy their vacations. To make a long story short I can just recommend spending vacations in that object. Thanks to Vivien, Ana Maria and Domenico!

Villa Farfalla

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in Panoramalage
