The host was welcoming and everything was clean and very cute. The couch was difficult to sit in but the multiple pillows helped. The bathroom is truly too small for anyone larger than a medium size.

This was a great place to stay!! My son and I stayed here and it was close to places to eat and harbor was right there. The owners are very friendly, I had car trouble and they were more the helpful. I would stay here again!!

Perfect place to stay in Grand Marais.The space is expertly set up for two people, with a full kitchen and comfy bed.Easy walks to food, shopping, and the harbor.Quick drives to natures wonders, all within an hour, maybe 90 minutes if ya go to the end of the Gunflint or Arrowwood trails.Will stay again next visit....

Our impression of this property was great. Everything was brand new and had what we needed. It is in close walking distance to bars, restaurants and the bay. The communication with the host was top notch. We will definitely be staying here again!

This listing was perfect for us! We were so close to the lake, shopping and restaurants. We were supplied with outdoor space with Adirondack chairs that faced the lake. Perfect spot to celebrate my birthday, MaryKate was so friendly and responded quickly to our questions. Hope to stay again!

Wonderful place!

We had a three night stay in the studio and were really impressed by the layout, comfort and super amenities with everything one needed. Fantastic location right in the heart of Grand Marais. Highly recommend and will come again!

Amazing location. Right across from our favorite restaurant in Grand Marais, The Angry Trout. It is a tiny space just as advertised so definitely want to be solo or with someone you are close with! But they’ve done a phenomenal job making the space cozy and comfortable. Host is very responsive. Had thoughtful amenities in the space. Would definitely stay again!

Superb accommodations

The garden apartment is just as advertised. Beautifully appointed. Cozy, best for a fit, slim person. Access to bed is somewhat difficult, but it is very comfortable. Linens, towels, and kitchen appointments are top quality. Some steps to tiny bath. Location superb.

The location and the fact that we had a last-minute reservation available were wonderful. The host was more than gracious about everything. I would say that the unit was very dark for my taste, although my husband loved the man cave feel of it. It is a very shall we say intimate unit and large people would not be at all comfortable in the small access around the bed and the Very small shower toilet sink bathroom in about a. 5‘ x 5‘ square of real estate. This is a new unit for the owners and they were very open to suggestions about improvements. One other thing was having an equally comfortable functional and aesthetic lamp and table on the right side of the bed in addition to on the left. In all, I think he’s a wonderful choice because of its location and the wonderful TV with Netflix and YouTube, and a modern functional kitchen, and even a window although at ground level that looks straight at the lake.

The Garden Studio was perfect for a cozy weekend getaway! Although the footprint isn’t large, the apartment is laid out very efficiently so nothing felt cramped. The kitchen in particular felt quite spacious. Being located right off 61 across the lake was very convenient. Would love to come again!
