Talblick is "Valley View" - the apartment occupies the ground floor of a traditional chalet in the mountain village of Wengen, less than ten minutes walk from the station along the quiet road to the Lauberhorn world cup ski race. Talblick is an excellent launchpad for 4-6 people to explore the surrounding mountain region - summer or winter - hiking or skiing. The new owners have kept the rustic feel of the property, which was built in the 1930s by a local family of carpenters.

We loved the location and entire feel of the apartment. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We have been to Wengen before and stayed in other chalets, and we wanted to come back to this one.

We had a great stay at the Talblick - it’s in a great location in Wengen, easy walk to the center of town and train station but also to hiking options. The views are beautiful and Rebecca and family were great hosts. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Talblick! It felt like we were transported back in time in the best, most nostalgic way. Old books, games, and a clean and beautiful cabin nestled in the most quaint village of Wengen. Rebecca and Will were incredible hosts, and we will cherish the memories from this incredible stay for years to come.

I don’t know if I have the words to adequately express how wonderful our stay at the Talblick was. The Talblick is conveniently located in Wengen, giving easy access to the entire Jungfrau region, but just outside the downtown area so that you can enjoy the peacefulness and serenity that the town offers. The walk from the train station is only a few minutes and paved the whole way, making it easy to transport bags. Inside the Talblick are plenty of amenities, games, and even treats to enjoy! Rebecca and Will are conveniently located on the floor above so any time we needed something they were right there to help. I will be dreaming of drinking my morning coffee out on the patio for years to come! I can only hope to come back again one day!

Rebecca was so welcoming and kind. She was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The chalet was everything we could have asked for, complete with a stunning view, comfortable beds, and chocolates on the pillows when we arrived. We highly recommend this chalet and will definitely be returning in the future.

We had such an incredible stay at Chalet Talblick! The property was quiet, on the edge of town with an easy walk to the train, with gorgeous views. Rebecca was a fantastic host, stocking the fridge and pantry with basics and giving advice on what to do. We stayed here with four adults and two children, and it worked great. We hope to come back!

Our stay here was the highlight of our family holiday. The chalet is beautiful, well-equipped and comfortable, and sufficiently private that we felt right at home, and were able to enjoy Christmas together here (with even a fresh snowfall). Perfect! Wengen is of course one of the world's beautiful locations, and the chalet is just a 10-minute walk from the station. Rebecca and her family are friendly, welcoming and communicative hosts who graciously helped us with advice for skiing days. We would happily return here any time we possibly could.

Perfect home in idyllic Wengen! Our family of 5 had ample space for the time we did spend in the home not sleeping. The host has thought of everything, down to Penhaligons soap in the bathroom. The only negative was having to leave! If youre looking for a home base to explore the area, this is it!

We had a lovely stay for 9 nights in Wengen. This rental was exactly as listed. It was stocked with spices, all the basics and more. The hosts were lovely and left us some drinks in the fridge upon arrival. They were very helpful with any questions. We had such a nice stay and felt right at home. We would go back and stay at the same location for sure. Wengen is beautiful!
