It was a beautiful place to relax. It was peaceful quiet setting that all the family enjoyed! Loved all the flowers and wraparound deck! Would definitely visit again!

Great place to stay!

Just came back from a three night stay and had a great time. The property was perfect for our needs and we would recommend it to friends without hesitation. The owner Meleana is very pleasant and helpful. Hope to be back there again someday!

Amazing family getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kaslo! Meleana was wonderful to work with and the cottage was everything we hoped for and more. A new family favourite for sure!

Beautiful little getaway

The house was gorgeous! Kitchen is very well setup. The outside area was our favorite to lounge and relax. Really close to kaslo, and the river loop was a great morning activity we did every day. 10/10 would stay again.

Kaslo Vacation

We arrived to have everything available as was advertised. Our stay was so nice, quiet and relaxing. Beautiful setting for our dog to play in the yard. All utilities worked well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quality vacation.

Super cozy home, wonderful communication, everything perfect

We had a wonderful stay at Meleana and Thomas' cozy home in Kaslo. Cozy and super clean home which worked perfectly for us as a family of five. Loved the outdoor decks too. Meleana and Thomas were super friendly and easy to communicate with, we will definetely be back.

We had a very relaxing time but Jackson, the cat, made it special. Little did I know that the large orange tabby trotting down the road towards us, that I saw in my rear view mirror when we pulled into the parking area, was the welcoming committee. Jackson was always available for a cuddle or just to keep you company. I never even missed my cats. We also saw a doe and her fawn, a black bear and a bunch of wild turkeys from the back deck. The kitchen was well stocked. The only thing I missed was a microwave. Kaslo is a nice little town. It was the perfect place to just relax, read, and knit.

As the other reviews have correctly noted ... this is an ideal home. Of note is that we stayed there when it was hot spell, but the design of the house plus the fans and an a/c (in one bedroom) made it very comfortable.Mornings and evenings on the large deck were so comfortable.We enjoyed being able to walk our puppy in the well shaded yard.It's very quick to get into Kaslo. We had a great afternoon at nearby Fletcher Creek Falls Recreation site with a short (but steep) hike past the waterfall to a sand & pebble beach.I hope that we'll be able to return.

It's a getaway.....From your getaway! Amazing! We had a black bear, deer, and turkeys with their babies all from the back patio. This place is amazing!

A Lovely & Quiet Oasis

We had a lovely stay at this incredible home that showcases much better in real life! From the sweet personal touches to the peaceful outdoor spaces, this cabin is spacious, well-equipped, quiet, and charming in so many ways! We hope to return and would highly recommend Maleana's beautiful cabin!

Quiet and Cozy!

My family and I had a lovely time here. The home is clean and spacious, and has everything you need. The decks are lovely for reading or sharing a meal. And despite being so close to Kaslo and the lake, it feels like you're in the middle of the woods! Would highly recommend this place.

Peaceful Place during Kaslo Jazz Fest

Just returned home from the Kaslo Jazz Fest and we were lucky enough to have found this hidden Gem. 3 comfortable bedrooms. large kitchen and lots of room on the decks to gather to eat and relax. The yard and surroundings are perfect to start your Jazz Fest day with tranquility. Found a herb garden within all of the beautiful flowers and rock beds. Just a short hop into Kaslo where all the action was taking place. We would stay here again in a minute. Randal
