Great place to stay

Location of house was awesome. We loved snorkeling every day right by the house. More than enough room for our group of 8. Rosemary, the host was very responsive, as was Kevin, house manager. We used Gus for some of our travel needs and he was wonderful. You will have a great stay at Secret Cove Villa!

Loved our visit

The Villa is beautiful and very well maintained. We would definitely want to come back on any future visit to St. Lucia. Rosemary is very prompt with all communication and clearly wants the best for her guests. The driver for the Villa, Gus, took up to 10 of us around to different parts of the island on 3 different days, and made the experience so much better with his knowledge, stress-free transportation and friendliness.

A Glorious Oceanfront Villa

Beautifully maintained villa with nice bedrooms, lovely interior, and spectacular French Colonial porches looking out on 180 degree view of the Caribbean Ocean. Wonderful host and staff provided support but let us enjoy our private tropical paradise. We were able to cook together in modern kitchen, watch the sun go down and eat on the large porch off the high ceiling living room, and travel around the island for chocolate tours and birdwatching. We snorkeled in the little cove just below the house and swam in the pool. Absolutely fantastic!

Amazing house for big groups

This home was amazing. Great views and great people that helped during our stay. Gus was amazing and was able to take us wherever we needed, all the great reviews about him are true. Rosemary and Sonia were both available if needed. We did walk back from Vigie Beach one time, and it took us about 15ish minutes because you do have to walk up a big hill, so just be prepared for that. We were a group of 9 adults and we would definitely recommend this house to anyone and would definitely stay again if back in St. Lucia!

Wonderful stay at Secret Cove

We visited to celebrate my son's graduation. The house was very comfortable and the views were spectacular. We enjoyed spending days by the pool and going down to the Cove to snorkel. Chef. Shelley was amazing and made our stay even better. Delicious dinners and wonderful breakfast! We enjoyed the location and really enjoyed the coal pot for dinner one night. Sea spray cruises was amazing! We private chartered a catamaran for a day and included tours like visiting the volcano and mud baths as well as a rum and chocolate tasting snorkeling in two different areas. Everyone had a wonderful time and I highly recommend using Gus as your driver! Thank you. Secret Cove, for a wonderful celebration week!

Perfect St. Lucia Stay

Our extended family of 8 had a wonderful stay in this villa, as it was well laid out, spacious, and had a wonderful pool and direct snorkeling access via stair to Secret Cove itself. Stunning sunsets every night, and cruise ship views were great as well. Central location in Castries was great to access both Rodney Bay and Soufriere easily, not to mention easy car rental at nearby SLU airport. Rosemary was highly responsive and filled with recommendations. Her staff from Sonia (house support), driver/tour guide Gus, and cook James were all outstanding - helpful and informative, and really excellent in their roles. Highly recommend this villa and all the delightful folks that do a terrific job and bring St. Lucian hospitality and culinary delights to life.

Impeccable house with gorgeous views

We were met by Gus at the airport, a broad smile that made us feel safe and welcomed. Arriving to Secret Cove we were met by Rosemary and Barbara who gave us a glass of sangria and a tour of the house reassuring us we could call if we had any questions or concerns. The beautiful house and large kitchen with views from every room enticed us to explore the pool at sunset. We were surprised when an enormous cruise ship passed quietly, so close it was magnificent to see! Gus picked us up to take us to the grocery stores so we could get everything we needed and he told us about the island he loves. St Lucia has so much to see and enjoy. The food everywhere we went was fresh and delicious. If you are traveling with a group this house is perfect!

A Stay in Paradise

This is an incredible property enhanced by the people who make everything happen. Rosemary was fantastic in terms of making sure everything was ready when we arrived, Gus made sure we got everywhere we needed to go, and the food prepared by Chef Shelly was incredible. Couldn't ask for more when it comes to the house itself. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and three members of our extended family. 90% of our time was split between the deck and the pool. The pictures don't do it justice. And the cove truly did provide for some incredible snorkeling. Easy 10ish minute walk to Vigie Beach. A week wasn't enough. Look no further and book this place if it is available.

The house was great. It is kind of far from the Pitons but close to Rodney Bay (25 minutes) which has a lot to do. The snorkeling at the house was a great place to start and get comfortable with snorkeling because we had never done it before. The beach was a nice walk from the house We took a boat to the Pitons which gave us access to everything to do along the way. We stopped at Turtle Reef, Soufriere, and the Pitons which included lunch and the waterfalls and the option to hike the volcano. It also included a tour of the island from the outside. We were also lucky enough to catch some dolphins and a whale and a couple of turtles at Turtle Reef.I would suggest bringing large Ziploc baggies for your food. We had some small flies that were getting into our food. The sunsets were beautiful. James' welcome BBQ was also delicious. Rosemary is very responsive and helpful. The pool is a nice asset to relax at the end of the day.

Amazing vacation villa

We stayed at Secret Cove Villa for a week and words cannot express what an amazing week we had. The Villa exceeded our very high expectations. Rosemary was extremely attentive throughout the process. Gus, the villa driver was fantastic. By the end of the week, he was like family. Sophia was wonderful to have clean daily. We had Charles (chef) cook our first day meal and it was worth it. Pixie provided massages one day and she is a true professional. Highly recommended. We enjoyed snorkeling and shell-hunting on the private beach. We bird-watched on the property, saw a sea turtle swim in one day, enjoyed morning coffee on the patio and watching the cruise ships come in and out of the harbor daily. I just sat on the patio staring at the sea every day and it...was...perfect. Thank you Rosemary and your crew!

We had a group of 8 family members in Secret Cove Villa for a week and had a great time. The owner, Rosemary, was welcoming and responsive to any questions and concerns we had. The view from the property was spectacular, the pool was clean and a good size (though no shallow end, for those with small kids), and the house was clean and well-decorated. The kitchen was stocked with cookware that allowed us to prepare some of our own meals. Those we didn't prepare were well-made by Chef James on site or by the chefs at the nearby Coal Pot Restaurant. The A/C units in each bedroom and the living room worked well when we needed to cool off. Gus arranged for a 12-seat van to drive us to Soufriere for a day trip (recommended). We felt very safe in the house. The few downsides of the property were really just functions of the location. The private beach is rocky and down some fairly steep stairs. We had fun snorkeling there. There is a nice, sandy beach with beach restaurants/bars about 1 km from the property. Castries is a cruise ship destination but has few restaurants or sights to see. Our group had two rental cars that we used to drive to Rodney Bay on a couple of occasions. Driving in St Lucia is an adventure in itself, especially on secondary roads!Overall, Secret Cove Villa is a terrific place to hang out with a large group, catch some rays, enjoy beautiful sunsets, and use as a home base to explore St Lucia.

We recently enjoyed an exceptional stay at Secret Cove for a birthday week for seven people. The villa worked very well for us with five well air conditioned en-suite double bedrooms and three separate living areas, with more than enough of everything, including seating, for ten people. The snorkelling from the beach below the villa is excellent and several of our group went out every day, along with regular walks to Vigie beach nearby. Most evenings we enjoyed a sunset from the veranda or pool between the headlands and we even saw a water spout in the bay.I would highly recommend hiring Gus, the driver recommended by Rosemary, we used his services for most of the week and he was a reliable and entertaining guide. His prices are very reasonable, and we ended up being driven by him even for short journeys to Castries and Rodney Bay. Other than Vigie beach you will want to drive or be driven to most places in the area as it’s a long hot walk into Castries. For my birthday meal we hired James and had a party on the veranda with a menu well organised in advance with him, he also sourced a cake for us. The food was on par with the best restaurants we ate at around the island, and we would have used his services more if we hadn’t wanted to explore a range of options.I would also highly recommend a meal at the Coal Pot in Castries, which was our best eating experience on the island.

Our stay at Secret Cove Villa in St. Lucia was incredible. The property is pristine, the sunsets are the best I have seen anywhere, and the snorkeling right off the rocky beach on the property was amazing when the water was calm. The pool was beautiful, and every bedroom having its own bathroom and strong AC made it perfect for our group of five couples. It was also extremely convenient to walk to the helicopter pad for transfers, which I highly recommend.Rosemary was very responsive before our trip, and Kevin welcomed us, gave a great tour, and stayed in touch all week. Chef James was fantastic, but bring cash if you plan to use his services.Things to note: We did have two days without running water due to an island issue, so be aware that these things can happen. I’d advise to plan a list groceries for the week, since transportation is about 10 per person. For dinner out the Coal Pot was amazing! But also the only option and was 100 in transportation for 10 of us. Most of the restaurants closing early and following the cruise ship guests. (Which is understandable)There is a separate sandy beach about a ten minute walk from the villa that is absolutely worth visiting. The rocky beach on the property requires using steep stairs, and the pool has no shallow end, so families with young kids or older individuals should plan accordingly. We also loved visiting the Pitons and snorkeling near Sugar Beach.Overall, an unforgettable stay and perfect for all types of groups.

We had a great Thanksgiving at Secret Cove Villa. Family of 9 with ages from 78 to 15. Plenty of space for everyone. Loved the pool and beautiful sunsets. We also loved watching the cruise ships come in and out of port and the planes flying in. The kitchen has everything you need. They have beach towels and a speaker to use out by the pool. Sonia met us when we arrived and showed us around the home. She was great! We did have a few maintenance issues come up, but the host was immediate to respond even when the alarm malfunctioned late at night-thank you Kevin! Definitely use Gus for all of your transportation needs! He was so friendly and knew so much about the island and was readily available to us. He even helped us with some dinner reservations-he was the best!!We loved the welcome dinner that James made for us and actually had him do a breakfast and dinner as well. The dinner was amazing! Our favorite restaurant was the Coal Pot. Definitely eat there one night. Food was good and ambience was even better! Good snorkeling off the beach at house but stairs are steep going down. May not be for everyone. Bring your own snorkel gear and swim to the left to find the secret cove. All in all we loved it, had a great time and would book the villa again!!

Secret Cove Villa was perfect for our family vacation! Our group of nine, ages 8 to 72, felt completely at home. There was plenty of space for everyone — some of us read, watched movies, or worked on a puzzle, and we always gathered for breakfast or dinner on the balcony overlooking the water. Watching the sunset from the pool was unforgettable! The villa was spotless and well maintained, with lots of lounging areas and a bonus: some U.S. outlets, so no converter needed (though bringing one helps!). The snorkeling right in front of the villa is incredible. My 72-year-old dad could easily navigate the stairs down to the water, and we spent hours exploring the cove. Swim left and you’ll find the actual Secret Cove — a fun hidden gem!Chef Shelley’s Welcome BBQ was delicious — the mahi-mahi was the best we had on the island. Gus was outstanding! We used him for airport rides, excursions, and grocery runs. He knows so much about St. Lucia and loves sharing it. Plus, his laugh is contagious! Definitely hop on the Gus Bus! He was a true highlight of our trip!Rosemary was a dream to work with — always quick to respond and so kind. She and her team made us feel welcome from start to finish. 10/10 — we’d absolutely recommend Secret Cove Villa and can’t wait to come back!

Awesome St Lucia villa

Secret Cove Villa is an awesome place to stay in St Lucia. The views from the home onto the ocean are outstanding, and we got daily sunsets. It rained a little almost every morning, so we also got some really pretty rainbows over the ocean. You can snorkel just steps from the property, and the beach is about a half mile walk on the other side of the peninsula. We also made extensive use of the private pool. We traveled with five adults and two infants, and there was plenty of room for everyone. There is daily maid service if you want it, and the local property manager is easy to reach. The property owner can arrange in-home chef services, spa services, and yoga instruction, and we used all of those multiple times. The property owner also has a driver, Gus, that can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. I would highly recommend using Gus since the roads aren't great and you drive on the left side of the road. We used Gus multiple times throughout our stay, and I can't say enough good things about him. We did a full-day tour to the Soufriere area with Gus, and he took us to all the main spots, but we also stopped at some hidden local treasures. All in all, it was a great vacation and a wonderful property. I would highly recommend staying here.

A Place Rich in Culture and a Piece of Paradise to Return to

Rosemary, from the very beginning was the most attentive and gracious host. This house and destination were a dream come true for all 7 of us. The house was immaculate, bigger than the pictures and the views were second to none. The only thing that could possibly outshine the house, pool and views were the impeccable "staff," which immediately felt like part of our family. Two members of our group wrote, "We have so many beautiful memories and feelings that we've brought back with us. One that stands out is Gus. Our worlds are so different, yet his passion for the island and all the gifts it gives will remain with us all. The whole experience would never have been possible without Gus. We hope he realizes his value in the sharing, keeping alive, and promoting the life and cultural history of St. Lucia. We thought this best expresses one of our families' treasures, which is Gus." Pixie has a gift in more than just the spa services she provides. She is full of profound wisdom and grace that you find in few people. Sonia and Gyver were so hardworking and attentive to any and all needs of the house and grounds. The "staff" truly made our stay feel like a home away from home. Our stay created a newfound love of St. Lucia and, most importantly, the island's people. We hope that we can one day return to this very property and island some day soon.

Awesome House

We rented this property never having been to Saint Lucia, and boy am I glad we did. My husband and I traveled with 2 other couples. There was more than enough space for us. We could have even fit more people and still not feel cramped. To the point that we never even used the upstairs living room, we mostly sat at the outdoor table and sitting area. The rooms are all well appointed with a bathroom and closet space. There’s also an extra half bath downstairs, which is nice to run in to use when you’re relaxing by the pool. The house faces westerly so the sunsets each night were spectacular. We utilized Chef James on our arrival night and the food was delicious and it was nice not having to worry about making a meal after traveling all day. We also used Pixie for spa services on 2 different days. She was super and definitely affordable! We had one issue with a shower head and it was resolved very quickly by Rosemary as she is always available for any issues. Sonia the housekeeper was also helpful if we had any questions. Our trip would not have been complete without Gus though. He knew more about the island than anyone and was also willing to share stories and secret spots to get the best pictures. I’m glad we didn’t rent a car and having Gus available to drive to the grocery store, Castries Market or even all the way to the Piton was great. I would definitely recommend staying here anytime you’re on island.
