Entrez dans ce chalet dans son salon à aire ouverte, qui comprend un tout nouveau climatiseur, 2 canapés moelleux face à une télévision par câble à écran plat. Dans toute la pièce, vous trouverez un décor de plage et de hauts plafonds, donnant vraiment vie à l'espace!

Juste à côté du salon se trouve une salle à manger pittoresque adjacente à un lit superposé twin-over-twin, qui peut accueillir confortablement 2 personnes. Le coin repas comprend une table en bois pour 4 personnes à côté d'un tabouret de bar, à côté de la cuisine avec coin repas.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée et comprend une cuisinière électrique à 4 brûleurs, ainsi qu'un four, un réfrigérateur et un congélateur, un lave-vaisselle automatique et une cafetière.

La chambre est équipée d'un lit queen-size et d'un lit double, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 3 personnes qui resteront à l'aise toute la nuit avec la nouvelle climatisation! Ici, vous trouverez également un grand placard pour ranger vos bagages. Juste en bas du couloir se trouve une salle de bain complète, offrant un maximum de confort à tous les invités.

Super cute apartment! Loved the decor. We were impressed. Well worth the money. We had plenty of space for our family of 4. The owners were there while we were. Nice and friendly but gave you your space. The neighborhood is quite and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting outside often. I would definitely stay again!

Great value

Our family stayed here for 3 nights in August. Overall, this property was fantastic bang for the buck. It's exceptionally affordable, had plenty of space for our family of 6, and was just a few minutes away from the beach. The check-in process was super easy, and the one time we reached out to the contact for the property (because of our own failure to look at the pull out first to see the linens were already on there), they were very fast and responsive. A couple of things to mention and the reason for the 4 star review: - Cleanliness lacked in a couple of small places: we found a dead roach under the TV stand (we didn't see any live bugs inside though) and a some stray hairs on some of the bed linens. - I understand the AC unit in the main living area is a new addition, but it really struggles to keep up - especially in the heat of the day which made it really warm inside the main living area until after 8:00 PM or so. - There are washer/dryer hookup in the closet and it would be great to actually put a basic washer/dryer in there for guests. - Cell reception was non-existent, at least with T-mobile (this is in no way reflected in our rating, just a general heads up). Otherwise, we were exceptionally happy with our stay and would happily recommend to any one else looking for a great deal.

The decor was very nice and the property was pretty clean, but! The property listing states there are 2 queen beds and would sleep 6 (one description said sleeps 8 including the futons). The two beds were full beds and were very hard. The air conditioner in the bedroom has black spots inside the vent flaps. The futons are old and not comfortable to sit on. The padding for the futons are so worn that they are flat in sections. The futons could not be extended because one was tied up and the other was broken. The stairs leading up to the unit are very worn and have nails sticking up. The outside bar/grill area is unkept. The short walk to the water that is listed is about a 45 minute walk, FYI! You have to drive over the bridge to get to the beach. The owner happened to be there the first two days and we told him about the issues. He stated that VRBO makes up their own descriptions even if they are untrue. He told us to enjoy ourselves and to use the grill. We decided to use the grill but thankfully checked it first. It was extremely dirty and there was no gas tank or any other way to use the grill. We made the best out of a bad situation. We would not have chosen this location if the information had been accurate.

Hi Anna, we are very sorry for the listing inaccuracies that impacted your stay. At the time of your booking, we incorrectly listed the futons as beds that guests could sleep on, which was incorrect. This does not reflect the owner or property and Evolve takes full responsibility here. The listing has since been updated to correctly reflect that there are 2 full beds and one twin bunk bed. The homeowner let us know that the grill is in good working condition and uses natural gas, so there is no need for a propane tank. The stairs are safe for guest use and have no nails sticking out. This homeowner truly goes above and beyond for their guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!

The cottage was a perfect fit for our family trip. Clean, comfortable, nice kitchen area, and decorated nicely to make us feel at home! We met the host who was there at the time and greeted us upon our arrival. They were very kind and welcoming! The location was perfect, right by stores and the beach, but secluded enough to be out of the crowded tourist areas. Highly reccomend!

Great location

This place has a great location. We really liked having easy access to shops, restaurants, grocery store and the beach. I'm sure a lot of people have rent it and loved it, but all that use is showing. The couches in the living room need an update.

Bedding was exceptionally soft, outdoor shower was great. This stay had carpet old enough we didn’t have to worry (but still kept our shoes off). There are upgrades that need finished soon. Some exposed wires outside (not attached to house, no fire risk). Some siding that flaps in a storm. A pretty mediocre pull out bed. Close to OiB Java which is a win. 2 minutes from the OIB beach, and close to sunset beach. Great location, quiet neighbors. Perfect? Nah. Delightful? For sure.

Mini vacation with my kids

Overall we were really surprised how cute the place was, mostly because the updates are not identified in the listing. There was a welcome bucket in the fridge, nice touch! There is AC thru out the flat now as well! It was a lot of space for my 2 teenagers and myself. It was quiet and close to the beach & all the stores. We usually stay on the island and drive to the beach anyway so it wasn’t a big deal to drive a mile. Absolutely love the fact that I could get the place for a long weekend. The WiFi was spotty, and the cable tv selection was crappy. But we “survived” with the smart tv. Overall we had a nice stay! We will definately be back!

With that being said the back in time nautical feel was just what we were looking for. It was very clean and well cared for. And less than 2 minutes to the beach. Pictures made the place look nicer than it was.

Pictures definitely churched it up. It was nice. Anchors and beach theme throughout. Refrigerator was outdated, ice maker did not work. Saw a few roaches but that’s to be expected. A/c was only in the living room so we slept in the bunk beds the first night. Did not sleep well so tried the bedrooms the next night. Hot but there were fans provided and a ceiling fan so it wasn’t too bad. WiFi wasn’t great and kept cutting in and out. TV had one channel plugged into it but had Netflix and amazon prime but didn’t feel comfortable putting my info in so just didn’t watch tv. The day I was supposed to check out someone sat in their car from 7:30 am till I left (I’d gotten married the night before and ended up sleeping at the groomsmens vrbo bc there was a 200$ fine for people staying over at the one I rented over the guest count, so who knows how long the car was there before I got back to pack my things. It was very unsettling. The one good thing is the vrbo contact let me check in early bc I had to pick up my bridesmaid at the airport. I would not pick this rental. The roads are not paved and covered in potholes leading to the vrbo. It rained heavily and so there were several little lakes. My little golf navigated them well but it was still aggravating steering around them.

This was not the type of place that you would want to take your family.

We wanted to find a place to stay that was close to the beach at a reasonable price and when we chose this place it seemed to be what we were looking for but when we got to the house everything was very hot because they only had one air conditioning unit that was in the living room and noticed there was nothing in the bedroom at all. It was like a time warp to the 70s. I would never recommend this place for anyone. If they update the house a little bit it may be OK but we literally slept on a pullout couch for three nights and was miserable.

Perfect for a no frills vacation. The owners are super nice and very quick to get any questions answered. The property is older but it is clean and comfortable. it worked great for my sister and I and our 4 kids. We will definitely be back again!

It was nice, but had some issues.

I will continue saying the good things about my stay first. The cottage was very clean and had all the amenities that you could want. The outside bar and grill was fantastic. He had everything you could possibly ask for to grill out, listen to music and have a few mixed drinks. I would like to add there is one thing that would make the outside much better. If you would add a hammock it would be perfect. I also loved the privacy, but there was nobody else renting the other units. The bad things: The main room did not have ACC and even with two fans going it really got hot. I tried to leave the door open, but there were times that this was not feasible to do so. The beds were not comfortable at all. The main queen in the bedroom was alright, but still hard for my taste. The microwave broke on the second night I was there. There was not enough toilet paper, it lasted for one day. The shelves in the refrigerator fell down twice trying to put food in. I would say overall it was not bad, but not great.
