Ideal north shore getaway

We spent a wonderful week in this home in Hanalei and couldn’t have been happier. The house is well appointed, conveniently located, and was just the right amount of space for my husband and I, our college-age son, and his friend. Waking up in the treetops with a peek a boo view of the bay was a highlight. It’s a quiet neighborhood just a quick walk to the beach or into town. We hope to return.

Don’t rent this property!

Because
. I love this house- literally a block from the beautiful Hanalei Bay. A lovely property!!! Well stocked with beach gear, lots of comfortable space, fully equipped kitchen. I never want to go home.

Our family had a wonderful stay. The house is lovely, clean with a well appointed kitchen. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the house's beach amenities. The location couldn't be better for the beach and to get into shopping/restaurants, etc...

Wonderful Christmas in Hanalei

This house was perfect for my family’s Christmas getaway. Everything was sparkling clean and the hosts left thoughtful welcome gifts for us! The kitchen has all the pots/pans/cooking instruments you’ll need to cook almost anything. The home was clearly put together with a lot of thought and care, not to mention the incredible views from the top floor bedroom. Thanks for such a wonderful stay!

Great house on a quiet cul-de-sac two minutes walk from the beach and 10 min walk to Hanalei. The space is well equipped and comfortable- we especially appreciated all the beach equipment!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our 10 day stay here. The location of the house is great - only a very short walk to the beach and about 10 minute walk into town. The house was accurately represented on the internet - we feel we got what we saw online. The kitchen is well stocked and there is ample outdoor equipment (like beach chairs, umbrella, snorkelling gear etc). However, there were a few things that we would change and some of them are very easy fixes. The ac in the master bedroom was not particularly effective but it was just about good enough for our stay. There should be a table and chairs for eating on the porch - we were really disappointed not to have this. Also, the window coverings throughout the house are spartan and very cheap. In the upstairs bedroom there is nothing at all! It's nice to have something on the windows for privacy and to filter the light which comes streaming in very early in the summer. It also means that the upstairs bedroom gets full sun for most of the day and gets very hot. The window coverings in the other bedrooms were cheap and flimsy. We also wish the house came with bikes (some rentals do) as we ended up renting some for the duration of our stay. This is the best way to get around beautiful Hanalei in our opinion!

Great location!

We loved the rental overall. The location is wonderful. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes and into town in about 5-10 minutes. Beach access is very easy, close enough to the public access beach to be very convenient and just far enough away to not be near the road and parking lot. The kitchen had the essentials needed. There were plenty of beach towels and a SUP, beach chairs, boogie boards and a wagon to take them to the beach when it was more than we wanted to carry. We rented surf boards in town. The neighborhood is quiet and people all friendly. Our only issue was the AC in the upstairs bedroom. It can't keep the room cool and that room is very hot in the day and takes a long time to cool down at night. It was an annoyance and we didn't call management as we probably should have. We still loved the place and give it 5 stars.

Perfect place

The house was really nice and the location couldn't be beaten. It has all the normal items we would find at home and additionally, there are beach chairs, bodyboards and coolers for the beach, if your want a surfboard, they are really easy to find in town which is a ten-minute walk. . The TV could use some updating as the sound is horrible. The Communication to Vacasa is very rudimentary, the garbage disposal died on us, and to try to get some help required too much effort to reach Vacasa so we were stuck with a broken sink, but that was not the house, it was the management company. All in all we were happy with the house just not Vacasa.

Beautiful house - special town

This place is top notch for a wonderful stay in what might be the prettiest place on earth. You can walk everywhere - the cool town, the great swimming bay, surf lessons, kayak rentals..,you name it. The house itself is beautiful. We loved out stay and hope to be back.

Great spot in Hanalei

We had a great time at this property in Hanalei. It is two blocks from having your toes in the sand! The kitchen was fully stocked and there were chairs to take to the beach. There are a few items we wished the house came with such as: cooler for the beach, bikes, and boogie boards, but besides those the house had everything you could want. Management staff was very eager to help although we didn’t need them. This is a 2 bedroom with a loft unit. The 2 bathrooms are down stairs but the loft has the best view. We can’t wait to come back.

This is a great property. Close to the beach, close to town. Included everything you should need... really. If you like the north shore of Kauai and want to be in Hanalei, this is your place. We loved it.

Hanalei getaway

You can’t beat the location of this beautiful home. It is within walking distance to all of favorite places of Hanalei. The view from every window and deck is gorgeous. There was plenty of room for our family of 4. The air conditioning was quite a treat. We stayed 1 week and would love to stay here again when we return.
