Deer Crossing, une belle cabine familiale du lac Loon dans les montagnes des Adirondacks

Détendez-vous dans les sereines montagnes des Adirondacks et soyez assez proche de toutes les activités. Le Lakeside at Loon Lake est à seulement 15 minutes du village de Lake George et à 15 minutes du domaine skiable de Gore Mountain et du centre de vélo de montagne. Nous sommes une propriété familiale abordable située juste en face de la plage de sable et du lac Loon. Le Lakeside est situé dans le parc Adirondack. Nos logements se composent de cabines indépendantes non-fumeurs, de suites et de la maison Loon (notre grande maison principale). Nous sommes une station familiale située à 50 pieds d'une plage de sable, d'une cascade et d'une rampe de mise à l'eau publique. De plus, nous sommes adjacents au réseau de sentiers de motoneige du comté de Warren. Les installations sur place sont: une barque, canoë, volley-ball, fers à cheval, basket-ball et une aire de jeux pour les enfants. Toutes les unités ont leur propre table de pique-nique et barbecue. Notre propriété est située au lac Loon. Le village de Chestertown est à trois kilomètres de la propriété. Une aire de loisirs est mise à la disposition du grand public où, pendant l'été, des concerts et des événements spéciaux ont lieu. En hiver, la région possède une piste de luge / ski avec un câble de remorquage et une patinoire extérieure. La ville possède de nombreux magasins uniques, un glacier, une grande épicerie, une pharmacie, et trop nombreux pour être mentionnés. Dans un rayon de dix miles, vous pouvez découvrir de nombreux types de repas.

Lasting Memories

Walt and Heidi have provided a fantastic experience. They are both very responsive and very accommodating. The location is perfect; 40 minutes away from hikes like Blue Mountain, or 25 minutes away from shopping at Lake George, or 2 minutes away from the best steak we ever had at the Bullhouse. Right outside your front door is Loon Lake. It is a very calm lake perfect for a weekend of kayaking. Thank you Walt and Heidi. We will definitely stay at your cottages again. Mike

Great location getaway.

Close to but not in Lake George which was perfect for us. We wanted to get to LG quick w//o being in it. Wife and I stayed for the week and our 2 boys stays with us for 1 night before dropping them off to camp (15 min away). Wife was very impressed/w how clean everything was. Has the great rustic feel w/o the musty dustiness some rustic getaways have. Even enjoyed a day inside binge watching on the very lg smart tv. It was great being able to just walk across the road to enjoy the beach (canoe, rowboat and kayak). We'd definitely stay again and have already referred to friends.

Peaceful and rustic

An ideal spot for experiencing the Adirondacks. Walt and Heidi (now former hosts) were gracious and helpful. The rooms and furniture might be described as rustic and dated, and potential guests should know that there's a state road between them and the water, but you'll love canoeing or kayaking on pristine Loon Lake.

Lovely cabin to stay at !!!

I really enjoyed staying here! The place was clean little to no noise, it was perfect for relaxing. Loon lake was right across the street with a water fall ! The owner was very nice and easy to talk with. I loved that when you walked in they had 2 glasses and a bottle of wine on the table waiting for you to start your vacation !

My family and I had a great time and would come back again.

The owners Walt and Heidi were so nice, helpful and available for any questions. The cottage was clean and beautiful inside. The lake across the street was so clean for swimming and relaxing. My girls loved watching and feeding the ducks. There were alot of things to do around the area and great restaurants to eat at. Overall we had a wonderful time. The Adirondacks are absolutely beautiful! We would love to visit again.

Convenient and easy

Walter was a wonderful host. We had to change our dates a couple of times and he responded to me quickly and could accommodate what we needed to do. Once in the cabin, the bedroom is wonderful and the bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is a little difficult to cook in as the counter space is very small. However there's a nice table, and we were able to make do. It was a great place for just the two of Us for a couple of days.

Cozy cabin directly across the street from spark/beach at Loon Lake.

The cabin was perfect for my boyfriend and I with our two dogs. The owners took the extra precautions necessary due to COVID-19 and offered excellent recommendations for restaurants and local trails. I would definitely stay here again!

Great getaway

Gorgeous area. Walt was very friendly and made the check in/out process simple. The cabin had everything you’d want. They had firewood and fire pits available at each cabin, as well as a canoe and rowboat for the lake across the street. Close access to hiking trails and the town. All around a great place to stay.

Two thumbs up! Great breath of fresh air

Love the set up of this property. There's a small beach across the street in a quiet offshoot of the lake. The property is stocked with firewood for the taking - we enjoyed a warm fireside dinner fresh off the grill every night. 5 minutes to the grocery store. 20ish minutes into Lake George. WiFi was solid - no issues. Our stay was warm, relaxing, and just the breath of fresh air we needed. Walt and Heidi are fantastic hosts!

It was exactly what we expected and then more. The manager answered all of our questions, concerns and needs. It was rustic and very homey atmosphere. We would definitely return to the same lodging for a Lake George vacation. It was very reasonable for a vacation.

Adirondack getaway

The cabin a cute & convenient spot from which to explore the Adirondacks. Lakes, gorgeous hikes, and scenic drives in any direction. Property is across the street from a public park/beach and boat access area. Town is nearby for supplies and restaurants. Owners are wonderful and responsive! Highly recommend. We had a fantastic time.

Great place to rent in the Adirondacks

The cabin was really nice, clean great location. Mgt was friendly and helpful. It was convenient to the beach, town and highways. We did a lot of site seeing and took a ride to different locations everyday. We would highly recommend this property.

Great Cabin

The cabin was great. There was just enough space for us and our dog. The manager was very nice and friendly. There were great hiking trails, and we went kayaking on the lake across the street. I would definitely go back again!!

Great Location and Great Time

My wife and I rented Chipmunk Cottage for the week of July 27-August 3. We had a great experience. Walt and Heidi were fantastic hosts and were available to handle our check-in. The unit was clean and included all necessary amenities. The property is located across the road from a public beach, and Walt and Heidi offered us use of their boats. The Lakeside at Loon Lake is also a great jumping off point for all Adirondack attractions. We were within a reasonable drive of Fort Ticonderoga, Lake George, Saratoga, Lake Placid, the Ausable Chasm, Tupper Lake, and Saranac Lake. Chestertown, which is only 2.2 miles away from the complex, has all of the services (grocery, pharmacy, bank, restaurants) that one would need. I would highly recommend this place to couples or families -- we were made to feel very welcome.

Convenient, cozy, has most of what you need - nice place to stay!

Stayed last weekend and it was lovely. Had random assortment of kitchen supplies (no condiments/spices or coffee filters) so plenty to cook with. Sheets were included but no towels. Easily accessible (almost a little too close to the road) but the lake is right across the street. Close to town if you forget something. Everything was clean and comfortable but a bit dated - which is fine as long as you expect that. I'd stay again!

It fit our needs for three days and nights touring the area. We witnessed a spectacular sunset on the lake Monday evening, 9-17-18. It was not exactly 5 stars but it was adequate for us.

Real fun and cozy place with amazing owners

My girlfriend and I stayed in the chipmunk cabin for memorial day and we had a blast! Tried out our new kayaks out on loon lake, a walk directly across the street. 15 min to bolton landing. Chestertown had a few nice places to eat also! Breakfast at the ice cream parlor was delicious! The owners were super nice, helpful and accomidating! We definitely will be staying here on our next trip to the Adirondacks : )

The Lakeside at Loon Lake is a small family owned and operated Adirondack retreat located on the southern tip of Loon Lake. All of our cabins, suites and main house have been renovated with Post and Beam and knotty Pine to keep with that Adirondack lodge or cabin charm, yet still providing many of the amenities that one would expect to see in many updated vacation rentals. We are nestled in the beautiful and quiet Adirondack Mountains, but yet no more than 25 minutes from most all attractions. ALL OUR PROPERTIES ARE REGISTERED AND INSPECTED BY THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH ALONG WITH OUR WATER SUPPLY. This give our guests that may be hesitant to use this type of booking PEACE OF MIND. :)

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Loon Lake is one of the more beautiful lakes in the Adirondacks. It is fed by mountain streams as well as natural springs that keep the water moving all the time and in turns keeping it crystal clear. It is a small enough lake that is not commercialized, so this keeps the traffic on the lake to a minimum, but yet it is large enough to rent a boat and go skiing, tubing or fishing. There also is a beautiful sandy beach just a 100ft across the street from the Lakeside that has a lifeguard on duty all summer.
