La cabine Chipmunk, une belle cabine familiale du lac Loon dans les montagnes d'Adk

Détendez-vous dans les sereines montagnes des Adirondacks et soyez assez proche de toutes les activités. Le Lakeside at Loon Lake est à seulement 15 minutes du village de Lake George et à 15 minutes du domaine skiable de Gore Mountain et du centre de vélo de montagne. Nous sommes une propriété familiale abordable située juste en face de la plage de sable et du lac Loon. Le Lakeside est situé dans le parc Adirondack. Nos logements se composent de cabines indépendantes non-fumeurs, de suites et de la maison Loon (notre grande maison principale). Nous sommes une station familiale située à 50 pieds d'une plage de sable, d'une cascade et d'une rampe de mise à l'eau publique. De plus, nous sommes adjacents au réseau de sentiers de motoneige du comté de Warren. Les installations sur place sont: une barque, canoë, volley-ball, fers à cheval, basket-ball et une aire de jeux pour les enfants. Toutes les unités ont leur propre table de pique-nique et barbecue. Notre propriété est située au lac Loon. Le village de Chestertown est à trois kilomètres de la propriété. Une aire de loisirs est mise à la disposition du grand public où, pendant l'été, des concerts et des événements spéciaux ont lieu. En hiver, la région possède une piste de luge / ski avec un câble de remorquage et une patinoire extérieure. La ville possède de nombreux magasins uniques, un glacier, une grande épicerie, une pharmacie, et trop nombreux pour être mentionnés. Dans un rayon de dix miles, vous pouvez découvrir de nombreux types de repas.

Beautiful cabin for two on Loon Lake

We were very happy in this lovely cabin for two. Everything was clean with all the necessities we needed before heading out the door for a day on the lake and returning at night. Access to the Loon Lake guarded beach is very near and it's very close to downtown Chestertown. It's a perfect get-away for two!

Vacation in Chestertown

The cabin was just as advertised. Mike the property owner met us there and was working on the property. He must have asked me and my wife about a dozen times if everything was good and if there was anything else he could do for us. We were more than satisfied with the stay and the cabin

Clean, comfortable, & rustic

We were in one of the smaller units, a king sized bed in a separate bedroom and kitchenette / living room. the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The refrigerator was large and the stove looked new. Throughout the floors were in very good condition and the place had been cleaned very well before we arrived. The cabin is very close to a sandy beach and a short drive away to good local restaurants. The owner stopped by to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction (it was!), he's quite friendly!

Relaxing friendly and responsive

Thank you for an amazing vacation! We had a lovely quiet time at your cabin and met some very nice people. We enjoyed the area so much. There were so many things to do and we enjoyed your dinner recommendation of the Odd Duck. We had a very relaxing time. The owners were extremely responsive.

Disappointing waste of good money and time

Was messed up from the night before we were to arrive and went DOWNHILL FROM THERE!!!! Construction we were not told about. Our 3 night stay was ONLY 17 hours! This was supposed to be a VERY IMPORTANT AND BADLY NEEDED GETAWAY FOR US AND IT WAS RUINED.

Bed was great, place was clean...plenty of cell service and wifi for work..missed the no linens supplied for short stays.. but I had stuff from buggying so all was good.. and there's a dollar general right down the road a bit..

Beautiful quiet setting with everything we needed

Absolutely lovely! Easy to find, quiet, and clean. Just right for our long weekend away - grill, fire pit with wood supplied. Kitchen had what we needed and it's in close proximity to public beach, grocery store and restaurants. Shared with several friends and family members. Definitely would love to return!

Great vacation

We rented 2 cabins right next to each other. It was one of the best family vacations ever. The cabins were clean and well equipped. And Walt was always available to answe questions. We’ll be back!

A week spent in paradise.

Very clean but rustic. We saw ownership the time of check-in and never again after that.(There was no need to see them) Grocery store and very good restaurants all within short drive. This was one of our best vacations. We absolutely love the Adirondack area. We will be back.

Wonderful getaway at a relaxing cabin on the lake

We had a great time at the Lakeside on Loon Lake. The Chipmunk Cabin was perfect for the 2 of us and was just what we expected based on the pictures and previous reviews! Walt & Heidi were available and super friendly. Walt provided us with some recommendations on places to go and places to eat. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. They even supplied fire wood if we wanted to start a fire and had a bottle of wine waiting for us! We would definitely book again if we were headed back to that area!!!

Cozy rustic cabin

The cabin was great, particularly it proximity to Lake Loon. My girlfriend took full advantage of the row boat and canoe. My only disappointed was that the cabin is not more ensconced in the woods.

UPDATED INFORMATION COMING SOON!!! In1998 we started making updates and renovations and never stopped. Year after year we have many of the same families return and we have also built many new friendships through the years.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

Loon Lake is one of the more beautiful lakes in the Adirondacks. It is fed by mountain streams as well as natural springs that keep the water moving all the time and in turns keeping it crystal clear. It is a small enough lake that is not commercialized, so this keeps the traffic on the lake to a minimum, but yet it is large enough to rent a boat and go skiing, tubing or fishing. There also is a beautiful sandy beach just a 100ft from the Lakeside that has a lifeguard on duty all summer. ALL OUR PROPERTIES ARE REGISTERED AND INSPECTED BY THE NYS DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH ALONG WITH OUR WATER SUPPLY. This give our guests that may be hesitant to use this type of booking PEACE OF MIND. :)
