We loved our stay at Savannah Cottage SSI. The house is beautiful, has very nice finishes and is in a great location! The owner was amazing, she sent lists of restaurants and activities to do. We took advantage of her grocery concierge service which was so wonderful to just arrive and start our vacation without having to go to the grocery. We can’t wait to stay again!

We've been going to St Simons for years now but this was the first time ever going at Christmas and New Years time. Our only concern was not having it feel like Christmas for our boys. Let me just say that the host blew us away with the thought and effort that went into decorating both the inside and outside of the cottage. They even set up a Christmas tree inside so we were set for Christmas morning! And of course the heated pool was an everyday must. We will definitely be back, just not sure if it will be during the summer or Christmas again!

Relaxing getaway!

My husband and I loved the Savanna Cottage! It was the perfect getaway to relax in a home away from home. Cozy, clean, cute and has all the accommodations you will need. It’s close to the beach and restaurants along with lots of fun places to explore. We will definitely be staying again and highly recommending this lovely home away from home to our family and friends!!

We loved Laurel’s place. Super convenient access to the pools and beach. Fully stocked with everything we needed, including baby gear. Plenty of different sleep options for the baby and kids. Bright, airy, and inviting. The wrap around porch was great for some shaded outdoor time. Would highly recommend this rental!

Property and St.Simon’s location was perfect for my husband and I, our daughters and their families. The property was within walking distance to beautiful beach & neighborhood pool and was a short drive to ‘things to do’ and many great restaurants. Home was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay as documented in listing. We enjoyed the outdoor porch sitting areas, toys/games for the kids and beach supplies. Host also made fabulous recommendations for everything we needed while we were there including a photographer so we could capture the rare time that our entire family was together. Highly recommend.

Our stay at Savannah Cottage was excellent! Laurel has truly thought of everything you could possibly need for a stress free vacation. We were pleasantly surprised that both fresh local ground coffee (and filters) were provided for the drip coffee maker PLUS Nespresso pods for the Nespresso machine. We also used the provided high chair and stroller for our 6 month old. It was so nice not to have to bring those items. The bathrooms even had essentials stocked in case you left your toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant or contact solution behind. The porches were full of seating areas and activities (giant Connect Four and Jenga)! The bedroom linens and towels were luxurious and spotless. On top of all that, we chose to rent their golf cart which made our vacation so fun! We highly recommend Savannah Cottage and will most definitely be back. Thank you Laurel for an unforgettable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Savannah Cottage - it's one of the top rentals I've booked on VRBO! It's a beautiful, comfortable home that has been well-maintained inside and out. There was plenty of space for my group of 5, and it could easily accommodate a larger group. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is very well appointed with plenty of dinnerware, cookware (in good condition!), cups, etc. There is lots of seating on the porches to enjoy the outdoors. Laurel is a stand-out host, who pays attention to detail. She provides plenty of beach towels, bath towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, hand soap, dishwashing detergent and paper towels. She is also very welcoming and responsive. There is a large golf cart you can rent if you wish, and if you're traveling with little ones, this home has a high chair and a pack & play. A big bonus is the elevator, which made unloading our suitcases a breeze. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely and quiet. It's a just a short walk to beautiful East Beach. We did not use the pool, but we did see others in the neighborhood using it, and it was clean and heated. We would definitely stay here again!

Great for Families!

Our family stayed at Laurel's gorgeous place for a fun beach gettaway with friends and it was perfect for our group! We had two families staying, with kids from toddler age up to 11 years old and the house was stocked and ready for us! We used the beach wagon and the golf cart to get ourselves (and our stuff) to the beach, literally a 2 minute walk which was so easy. But having the golf cart for a quick trip back to use the potty with toddlers was a must for us - And the kids loved riding around in it! The house also had all the stuff we needed with kids so we didn't have to worry about packing a pack-n-play, high chairs, etc which is why we picked this house. So easy on the parents. One of the mornings it rained so we were so glad to see there was a doughnut place in the guest guidebook that Laurel provided so we took the kids to Dulce Dough Donuts and it was a perfect for a rainy morning! All in all, a perfect stay and such a great space for families! I can't wait to go again!!
