We had an amazing stay! The cabin was beautiful, spotless, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The peaceful location made it even more enjoyable. Our host was wonderful and made everything so easy. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Perfect location!!!

Everything about this place is perfect for snowmobiling. We had 2 four place trailers, trails right outside the front door, we could gas up not too far away, plenty of space, beautiful cabin. Basically everything you need!!!

Hopefully the motel room doors attaching the units came in handy. We hope you consider continuing to explore the Voyageurs National Park in the future. Amazing!

Beautiful, clean and cozy lodge with all the comforts of home! Communication with David was great. We were so impressed with the condition and comfort of the lodging and had a wonderful stay.

Great Rental

The house is spacious, bite, and as-advertised. It’s a duplex, so if someone else is renting the other side, you will hear each other. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you very much Mamie! I am sorry again about the dog situation. I have only had a couple issues in the last 10 years on neighbor issues and most rentals they are by themselves or a couple days. I hope you consider staying at Facowie Lodge again! Dave

Snowmobiling Base

Great place to stay. Snowmobiled for 2 days in the area. Great access to the trail. Great choice of trails including ATV which could be ridden when the main trails were beaten up due to warm weather. Great kitchen, stocked with everything. Lots of room for parking with trailers. Dave the owner answers questions quickly.

We had a fantastic stay at Facowie Lodge! Dave's communication was superb throughout the entire process and even the couple times I had questions while we were there. The lodge itself was beautiful - even better than the pictures! The setting offered incredible peace and solitude. We greatly appreciated the proximity to all main areas of Voyageur National Park, which was the focal point of our trip. We were within 10 minutes of the Crane Lake section of the park (where there are a couple fabulous hikes!) and then only 1.5 hours from Rainy Lake area in International Falls. We were able to do several daytrips from this convenient location! We would highly recommend this property to anyone!! Well-stocked, well maintained, perfect northwoods setting!

Cute and welcoming!

We loved our stay at the Facowie Lodge. It was just as cute as it is in the pictures and we felt at home from the moment we walked in. The area around the lodge is beautiful and it was a northwoods getaway to remember for us and our young children. The host was very responsive and extremely helpful. We will look up the Facowie again for our next trip. One note: It was unseasonably warm when we visited and you have to dig a little to see that though the Facowie Lodge has many amenities, air conditioning isn’t one of them. It won’t be a problem for many people but you should know that going in!

Comfortable and Clean

A newer property that is well-kept and clean. Internet speed was decent for the non-outdoorsy group members. Kitchen was well equipped. Bed was comfortable. Good access to lots of trails and lakes. There is a decent restaurant across the road if you don't feel like cooking. Had a great time!

Facowie Lodge a peaceful & beautiful retreat

The Facowie Lodge (Both Grand and Loon) are outstanding, beautifully maintained, clean and in a beautiful setting. The Lodge has everything you need to settle in for a a great visit. We spent time visiting the National park, Kettle falls (Via Boat), Echo lake, Vermillian Falls, Crane Lake and a few others. My Wife and I stayed in Grand and we had family staying in Loon, everybody raved about how beautiful the lodge and surrounding area are. It was nice to explore the area without a lot of traffic, spotty cell service & surrounded by nature. We also enjoyed some great fishing in the area. The owner David, was a great communicator (Best we have experienced in all of our VRBO trips). The information he sent us prior to the trip helped us a plan a perfect week of relaxation and activities. We highly recommend this great Lodge and hope to return at some point in the future. Thank you David for helping to make our visit special.

Just what we expected!

Property was very clean and included everything as stated in the property description. Owner checked in with me the first day and again part way through our five night stay. Kitchen items were everything we needed to cook all meals during our stay. Loved the large bathroom vanity, as it made it easy for multiple people to get ready at once.

Great place to stay up North!

We loved the property. Very spacious, clean well stocked and overall we felt like at home. The manager was very attentive and allowed us to turn the heat on before the planned heating season. We appreciated it very much. It was a pleasure to communicate with David. He sent us a lot of information about the area and points of interest. Highly recommend this property for a family getaway.!

Serenity

You get the North Woods experience at this place. A very peaceful quiet area for hiking and exploring the remote regions of northern Minnesota. A great place for a bonding family vacation away from it all!

We loved the cabin and remote site! Hiking and fishing, plus family time!

Clean and up-to date cabin. Having a washer and dryer were a huge plus with little ones. We enjoyed our stay and getting out in nature.

Facowie Grand lodge

Love the open floor plan! Gave us room to spread out . Beautiful setting. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed nightly camp fires, and sunset views from the deck.
