Escape to a pleasant cabin retreat in Watkins Glen. This cozy 1-bedroom cabin features 2 comfortable queen beds, AC, WiFi, and a relaxing shower. This cabin along with your bathroom are marked #1 on the door. Both doors are painted orange.
PLEASE NOTE: Bathroom is in a separate building approx. 30ft. from cabin. Each cabin has their own separate/private bathroom. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and unwind in this excellent hideaway. We look forward to hosting you at our place.
We are open May 1st thru October 5th.

Adorable cabin! The amenities in the bathroom and the cabin were well thought out and plentiful! We couldn’t have asked for more! Perfection reached in both of these! My only reason for not a perfect 10/10 is that check in was confusing. If it is listed, we must have missed it, but we never realized that the 2 cabins had colored doors that were to alert you to your reserved cabin. We arrived in the evening and were confused until my husband put together the color of the bathroom door matched the cabin doors and our code only worked on one bathroom door, so we assumed that was our cabin. Our cabin had a “1” on the door, but the picture online that we booked didn’t have that “1”. And at first we didn’t realize the cabins all had different colored doors and they aren’t stacked next to each other facing the same way like a motel (which is nice for privacy - kudos on thinking that one through). Aside from that, the binder in the cabin with all the info needed for the stay/check out mentioned some free firewood (more needed to be purchased if you wanted it). When I inquired where it was, I was told that none was included; we had to purchase if wanted. We were told each cabin had their own fire pit which meant ours had no chairs. Someone probably moved them to the other cabin before, but we just scrapped the whole idea and didn’t do a fire. The cabin did have some minor noises from the refrigerator and possibly from the wind outside. Overall a great stay! Loved the hammock!

My husband & I loved it! Such a quiet area and the cabin was well appointed. Nancy the owner had paper plates, plastic cups, paper towels, plastic silverware, wine glasses, wine bottle opener, some bottled water in the fridge and some ice cubes in the freezer. Plus a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, comfy beds, lots of pillows, TV with cable, ac and a fan. Our private bathroom had everything - bath soap, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, first aid kit, hair dryer. A cool porch to sit on and see the stars. Glad we choose this!

Such a gem!

My best friend and I booked this sweet little gem for our yearly girls trip. The host was thoughtful and attentive throughout our stay. We told her that we might be arriving later in the evening, and she put the outside light on for us so we didn't have to fumble around in the dark. She also messaged us a day or two before our trip and said she noticed there was going to be a bit of a heat wave and would turn the AC on for us before we got there. She messaged us to make sure everything was going ok the first night. There were so many amenities: paper plates, paper bowls, paper towels, wine glasses, bath towels, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, tv and wifi. I loved that we had our own private bathroom in a separate building. There was privacy and we could leave our stuff in there so we didn't have to haul it back and forth from the cabin to the bathroom. I will say the AC blew the cool air up so you couldn't really feel it. We door dashed a fan the first night, and that really spread the cool air around making us super comfortable the rest of the trip in the heat wave. I'm sure the host would have provided a fan if we asked, because she was so nice and attentive, but we didn't want to bug her and I needed a new one for at home anyway. We made some amazing memories this year and will definitely book again!

I am originally from New Jersey and have been living in Watkins Glen for 13 years where I met my husband. I enjoy the outdoors, reading and enjoy Finger lakes wine.
I like being a host because I take pride in my properties and enjoy meeting new people.

Watkins Glen is a beautiful area, it has spectacular views, lakes hiking trails and exceptional wineries. The fall foliage here is beautiful as well.

The cabins were built by my husband and to me that is a special effect , they are all rustic looking but each cabin has their own theme. We are very close to all amenities
for our guests to enjoy.
