Quiet home away from the busy city

Great sized home in a very quiet neighborhood. I travelled with my adult kids to attend a concert in Atlanta. Although it was about a half hour drive from the city, it was exactly what I planned for. Very quiet residential neighborhood. Ample parking. Tons of space for everyone in my party. Much better than cramming into a hotel room. Comfortable beds and furniture, and it felt like being home. Would definitely stay again!

Worst experience

We were told we could check in early. We get there with a 1 year old who is beyond ready to get out the car. And the code wouldn’t work. Called the host and they said they would come out but it’ll be an hour. We waited an hour and a half and I had to call to leave a voicemail because she never showed up. Just to get a phone call saying they were canceling our stay because they can’t get the door unlocked and don’t have a key to their own house.

We provided updates as they became available and gave you a VRBO contact to assist with alternative booking options. Additionally, we verified with VRBO that a full refund would be issued to you. The property was nice and comfortable. One end of the leather sofa was broken. The leather sofa and chair need to be updated. The dishwasher did not work. Water was leaking on the floor in the laundry room, under the ironing board. Privacy curtains would be nice in the kitchen table area and the fireplace room. It was comfortable for us, and we would stay again if these issues are addressed.

Had we been notified before check-out, we would have been happy to assist. We’re always available to help with any questions. Regarding the laundry area, this has been addressed. We resolved that by tightening the water hose connection. The sofa is shown in our listing photos, and while it is older, we will certainly take your comments into consideration as we make future updates. Our photos also reflect the current open design of the home, including the absence of curtains in certain areas, as we aim to highlight the natural light and beautiful woodwork throughout the space.
