Thank you for your feedback. This is a large home where hot water originates from the basement and travels throughout the property, so it can take a brief moment to reach upstairs fixtures. During your stay, you requested assistance, and I personally came to the home on two separate occasions to demonstrate that the hot water system was functioning properly. In each instance, the water reached full temperature within a short period of time. Regarding cleanliness, the home is professionally cleaned and inspected prior to every guest’s arrival. No specific concerns were raised during your stay, and the review does not provide details that would allow us to verify or address any issue. We take pride in maintaining a high standard and in being responsive to our guests, as demonstrated during your visit.

To clarify a few points: Cleanliness: The home is professionally cleaned before each stay. Towels and linens are always freshly laundered and placed in the linen closet for guest convenience. Soap Dispensers: We provide refillable dispensers, and they are filled with liquid soap—not water. Pest & Mildew: The property is regularly serviced for pest control, and bathrooms are sanitized before every check-in. No Smoking Policy: We have a strict no-smoking policy, but unfortunately some guests do not always follow the rules. We act promptly if this is reported during a stay. Air Conditioning: The central AC is fully functional; however, we provide a window unit downstairs as an extra option for added cooling since it is a larger home and temperatures can reach triple digits in Georgia. Front Door Lock: The door is secure, and we provide an additional door security bar as an extra safety measure—not as a “remedy.” We feel it’s important to clarify these details for future guests.

I am utterly disappointed and appalled by your recent review of our VRBO property. It is clear that you have absolutely no idea what it takes to be a successful host and provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for your guests. Your review is not only unwarranted, but it is also completely inaccurate and unfair. Despite our best efforts to accommodate your every need, from the moment you checked in, you began complaining about every little thing. As a host, I take great pride in providing a clean, comfortable and well-equipped home for my guests. I have received nothing but 5-star reviews from all my previous guests, and it's quite clear that the issue here lies with you, not with our property or our services. I went above and beyond to try to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, but it seems that nothing would have satisfied you. You were quick to complain about every little thing, and never once did you express gratitude for the efforts we made to accommodate you. Your review is a complete misrepresentation of the reality of your stay, and it is a disservice to the many guests who have had wonderful experiences with us. It is clear that you have no understanding of the time, effort and resources that go into hosting a successful VRBO property. In conclusion, I would like to say that I am deeply disappointed by your review, and I hope that future hosts will take it with a grain of salt. I have been a host on VRBO for years now and have earned Premier Host status. It does not come easily. Every now and again there is a guest who is set on getting a discounted stay or will attempt leverage a good review for a partial refund. From the moment that Elvetrous entered the property, an investigation for a reason to request a discount began. She found at least 10 in 5 minutes!!.....(I told her that if she was unhappy with the accommodations that she could leave and I would give her a full refund. She refused this option, but was insistent on a partial refund at the end of her stay. I'm hoping that my reputation on this platform stands for itself and that those reading these reviews can see a pattern. Overall she was a decent guest and I gave her a fair review.
