Nestled along a forested ridge-line in the serene North mountains between Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Summit House offers a secluded retreat with stunning long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This charming cabin is designed for adults seeking a peaceful getaway. Whether you're relaxing in the hot tub, enjoying a quiet morning on the large screened-in porch, or exploring nearby attractions, Summit House is the perfect place to unwind and create lasting memories. The cabin inspired furnishings, comfortable queen beds with exquisite vintage coverings, fully stocked kitchen, and wood burning fireplaces both inside and out, offer guests the same memorable experience that the cabin owners also enjoy. The cabin style and the surroundings offer the perfect blend of privacy, luxury, and natural beauty. It must be noted the cabin is located in very steep mountain terrain and wildlife area with elevated decks, and the surrounding woods and terrain are not suitable for outdoor play or recreational toys. All minors shall be supervised at deck, hot tub and fire pit areas. Only the access road and driveway are suitable for walking.

Man, I cannot say enough GREAT things about this cabin. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back again. Everything about the place is excellent and the hosts are incredibly good to work with, great communication, great directions, everything. I only wish that it had been available for us to stay longer.

Stunning Summit!

Wow! We needed a spot to land for Cress Creeks’ farm to table dinner and have usually stayed in Blue Ridge but wanted to be closer to the farm. My husband’s only request was a good mountain view. Well with Summit House, you get that and so much more. This is the epitome of a cozy mountain cabin. You go up a windy road (there are some bumps along the way and tight squeezes around some corners), hit a wooden bridge that was all decked out for the July 4th holiday & pass a mini bamboo forest. You’ll pull up directly to the cabin and immediately see the views. The wrap around screened in porch was a super treat so regardless of where you were, you had a view. The hot tub overlooks the expansive views as well. The porch along with the entire cabin is decorated in cozy cabin motifs. The rooms were about the same size & even included robes which was a nice touch. A for cleanliness and the cabin had everything we needed. Loved the dog run under the cabin too! Darrell was our point of contact & checked up on us and was super easy to get ahold of. I would highly recommend! This is very close to the Ellijay downtown and a 15 minute drive to Blue Ridge. We didn’t get an opportunity to hit up Roo Winery but it was very close to the cabin and on our list for next time.

What an incredible place! Absolutely beautiful and private. There are a couple of other properties on the same road but they are spaced out very well and you can't see another place at all from this one, at night you can't even see lights from another place. We loved it for several reasons, but one was because we were able to bring our dogs with us and they were able to run around on the porch out back and still be secure. This cabin is very well done, it's decorated impeccably and has literally everything that you might could need. There's a grocery store and restaurants in town which is a fairly quick drive, but once you get back up on the ridge it's like youre in another world. I just can't recommend this place enough. We will absolutely be coming back.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

Summit House has breathtaking panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It is nestled in a private enclave, no neighboring cabins in sight. The interior is all pine wood stained with many style furnishings and accessories. It has a fully stocked custom kitchen. The cabin includes 2 queen bedrooms, and 2 full bathrooms with luxury towels, private label soaps, shampoo and conditioner. Dogs are welcome with prior approval, we do have restrictions. There is a dog run below the cabin down one flight of stairs or dogs can be walked on a leash along the gravel ridge line road. There is parking for guests in cabin driveway and overflow parking across the entry road just above the cabin. The cabin has a whole-house automatic generator in the event of a power outage and a water filtration system for the well. There is also a ring camera on the front of the cabin, pointing toward the driveway for security purposes. It does not impede on guests privacy.

Summit House is located on a beautiful ridge, approximately 6 miles (10 to 15 minute drive) from historic downtown Ellijay. You are just a short drive from Blue Ridge (9 miles, a 25 minute drive), Amicalola Falls State Park, the beginning or terminus of the Appalachian Trail (30 minute drive), Fort Mountain State Park (1 hour drive), Gahuti Mountain Trail (45 minute drive), and several Vineyards for wine tasting (Chateau Meichtry, Buckley,Ellijay River, Engelheim, Otts, and Roo, all within a 15 to 30 minute drive. Other attractions in the area are Cohutta Wildlife Management Area, for hiking and fishing, You can also take the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway (call to reserve a ride), a historic train ride through the stunning North Georgia Mountains. Through the entire year is a great time to visit the numerous apple houses for all kinds of fruits, vegetables, and fruit pastries and pies.
