Villa 407 - Beautiful 2 Bedroom Retreat

Welcome to our home, a peaceful retreat on beautiful Jekyll Island where you will find miles of beaches and bike paths, breathtaking views of the Atlantic, and sunrises each morning from the boardwalk, all just a short walk from the condo.
Our beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated coastal ground-floor condo has all the amenities of home. When you enter the condo, you will find a bright, open floor plan with a living room, half bath, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen. Sliding glass doors on the main floor open to a patio with two Adirondack chairs overlooking a garden of live oaks. The living room has a media cabinet with a 70-inch flat screen Smart TV offering DirectTV, Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating. We have stocked the media cabinet below the TV with board games for you to enjoy.

The kitchen has a new table and chairs, a new dishwasher, a coffee maker, and is fully stocked with new pots and pans, dishes, and all kitchen essentials.

Our open and airy condo has two bedrooms and a full bathroom on the second floor and a half-bathroom on the ground level. Recent upgrades include two new king-sized mattresses, an upstairs balcony with table and chairs, new flooring, ceiling fans in each bedroom, and a completely renovated bathroom with a walk-in glass shower.

The Villas by the Sea complex includes a large swimming pool, playground, fitness center, gas grills, volleyball courts, adult bikes to rent, a gift shop, ice machines, three laundry rooms (the front desk can make change), a business center, and one of the most highly rated restaurants on the island – Jekyll & Tide.

This 17-acre resort is located on the north side of Jekyll Island directly adjacent to the world-famous Driftwood Beach, which ranks #3 in the US and #12 in the world by TripAdvisor’s “Best of the Best Beaches”. Both sunrise and sunset are stunning there—be sure to bring your camera! Directly across the road is Horton Pond, a natural habitat perfect for bird-watching and seeing other wildlife, including alligators. Jekyll Island also has miles of scenic walking and biking paths, beaches, many restaurants and shops, a historic district, Summer Waves waterslide park, mini-golf, and two municipal 18-hole golf courses. Red Bug golf carts are available to rent at the airport, just a few minutes away by car.

You may want to consider bringing beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, kids' bikes, and helmets.

Linens are provided with this unit, as well as a starter set of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, and some personal amenity items. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

***Beach Access May Not Be Available At High Tide*** During high tide, please enjoy the oceanfront boardwalk, OR swimming pool at VBTS, or use one of the public beach access parks south of the Holiday Inn.
