Peaceful Retreat on the Bourbon Trail

This 3-bedroom, 2-bath home is the perfect stop for travelers exploring Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail and nearby attractions. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, Roku Smart TV’s, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer. With ample parking, it’s a great fit for families, friends, or couples traveling together. Our goal is to make you feel at home and we're happy to help with anything you need during your stay.

Located in Central Kentucky, which makes it close to many Bourbon Trail favorites and local wineries. Centrally located for horse racing at either Churchill Downs (Home of the Kentucky Derby) or Keeneland which host horse sales, racing in the Fall and Spring plus this year’s Breeders’ Cup. Centrally located to some nice fishing lakes too.

Peaceful Retreat is a spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home offering 1,536 sq ft of comfort. Perfect for relaxing after a day out on the Bourbon Trail or at a nearby attraction. Enjoy the cozy family room with a 55” Roku Smart TV sitting on a fire place console. The kitchen is fully stocked with a dining table for six. Off from the kitchen is a washer and dryer with supplies provided.

The home is one level with 5 steps to the front porch. You can relax at the table with the umbrella up or down. A smoking bucket is provided for smoking outside only. It has a small back porch with a chair and smoking bucket. The outside grill is right next to the back porch. There is plenty of parking for several vehicles. No pets over 25 lbs. inside the home. We do have an outside kennel for dogs over 25 lbs.

Kitchen: Everything you need to cook a homemade meal, heat up leftovers, or enjoy take home meals. Includes stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, air fryer, microwave, coffeemaker, Keurig K-Cup maker, toaster, full set of plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, utensils, pots, pans, baking items, cooking & grilling utensils, potholders, dish towels and dish cloths, etc. Also stocked with coffee, filters, variety of K-Cup pods, sugar, artificial sweetener, creamers, tea bags, water, a few soft drinks in the refrigerator with a treat on the counter. Plenty of ice in the freezer! There is a high chair located in the master bedroom walk-in closet.

Family Room: Sofa seats 3 comfortable, love seat seats 2 comfortable, and a rocker recliner for one. 55” Roku Smart TV with Spectrum TV package that has 85+ Channels. The TV sits on an electric fire place console that puts out a realistic flame effect. You can run it with or without heat.

Bedrooms: Master bedroom has a King size bed, 32” Roku Smart TV, and lots of storage space. It has a spacious bathroom and walk-in closet off from it. Second bedroom has a Queen size bed, closet, 24” Roku Smart TV. Third bedroom has a Full (Double) size bed and closet. Extra pillows and blankets are in each bedroom closet. Luggage racks and phone chargers are in each bedroom.

Bathrooms: The master bathroom has a garden tub with shower. Double vanity sinks; towels and wash cloths are located in the bathroom closet. Hall bathroom has a single sink with shower and tub. Towels and wash cloths in top two cabinets. Both bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush and paste.

Other Items: There’s a large fire extinguisher located in the pantry in the kitchen. There’s a smaller fire extinguisher and fire blanket next to the refrigerator. There’s a Savelix Choking Rescue Device located in the Pantry in the kitchen. An ironing board and iron are located in the master bedroom walk-in closet. There is a large trash can out the back door next to the back porch.

Guests have the whole home and parking for their use. Keyless entry

No Smoking inside the home but it is allowed outside. Internet service provided by Spectrum Fiber Optic. Pest control provided through Moxie. This home is located a little bit in the country so you will see and hear wildlife and farm animals occasionally.
