Lake Forest est une communauté tranquille adjacente à la réserve forestière de 600 acres de Sea Pines qui comprend deux grands lacs et un anneau de coquille indienne ... le seul vestige d'un village amérindien qui existait il y a 4000 ans. En parcourant les sentiers de loisirs qui serpentent dans Sea Pines, les clients de Lake Forest trouvent une large sélection de restaurants, de boutiques et d'activités de vacances à Harbour Town, au Sea Pines Center, à South Beach et au Oceanfront Beach Club. Comfortable and convenient

Our unit was clean and comfortably furnished although the chair in the master bedroom and the unit's flatware should be replaced. Instructions for using the TV would be helpful; we were never able to access basic cable channels. The pool and tennis/pickleball courts are convenient and well maintained. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Friends at Lake Forest

You just can’t beat the location. Awesome. The property is beginning to show its age. Dated decor and some general maintenance needs. A slip-proof surface or grab bars in tub would be helpful. But, overall, very good considering location and price.

Nice Property with Dirty Floors

This was overall a nice stay- location is great, the space has high ceilings and view is beautiful. The layout was perfect for myself and my family. I will say the place was rather filthy- carpets appeared totally un-vacuumed with junk all over them and stained, the place was not clean and there was a lot of old appearing items, the shower curtain fell down etc. I’d say here again but wish it had been more clean.

We are currently working with the homeowner and contractors to resolve the flooring issue in the unit. As we have mentioned in review responses before, the floor has been an ongoing issue and we have been working diligently to try to resolve it. We believe that we are almost at the finish line with the floor issue! We will also make sure to clean the vents and the chandeliers and fans as well. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will stay with us again soon!

Value Stay

Seeing that it was the peak Summer vacation season, the price was very reasonable. My wife and I have been coming to HHI for decades. On this quick 3 day weekend, we just wanted an economical place that had a central location in Sea Pines. Just a 2 mile bike ride to the Beach Club and about the same to Harbour Town. This condo has some issues. Sagging floor in dining room and kitchen. Cabinets that don't close. Deck that needs painting. But, we enjoyed our stay with no serious issues.

Filthy Place

Walked into unit and it was 85 degrees. Air was not adjusted for incoming guest. Took until after dark to cool down. Sheets were dirty, place needed a deep clean severely. Everything was 1980s decor or older. Floors had soft spots so bad we felt like they were going to give way. Overall it was the worst unit we have ever rented in Sea Pines out of 50 plus stays there over the years. I offered to pay more to be moved somewhere better but unfortunately there was nothing available. So we cleaned it the best we could and the manager had the sheets replaced for us.

I appreciate Seashore Vacations to quickly remedy the ability to get us a place when the previous unit was unavailable, but 3304 Lake Forest should not be rented. I can deal with dated furniture and fixtures, but the cleanliness was poor. The sliding doors / screens were broken, inoperable, the kitchen was dirty, it just felt unclean. The location was not a match to what we wanted (it was 2 miles from Harbortown vs in Harbortown). Again, appreciate the quick work but the unit was rough.

Birthday Stay

My friend and I stayed in Hilton head for a few days for her birthday. We enjoyed the location and the cleanliness of the house. It was nice to wake up in the morning and sit outside and watch the wildlife. It was also nice to be able to bike down to the beach since it was only 10 minutes away

Good value, not perfect

Their were several soft spots in the flooring, dining area and kitchen, One of the kitchen cabinet doors was missing, not shown in Pic's of property. The decor is dated by very functional. One of the sliding patio doors could not be opened by my wife, but I was able to operate it with some difficulty. The adjacent door was in good working order. Overall cleanliness was good, but the cold air return out side the master bedroom looked like it had not been cleaned in years and their was notable dust on the valences in the master bedroom.

Thank you for your review. We had to remove the cabinet door to replace some hinges as it was falling off quite often. The cabinet has now been reinstalled. The soft spots in the kitchen have been an ongoing issue at this property. The owner of the unit has had contractors attempt to fix the soft spots in the subflooring 3 times with no success. However, as of this week (June 9th) the subfloor has been completely replaced and the soft spots are no longer! We have also looked into the sliding glass door issue and have attempted to clean the track and replace the rollers to make it slide easier. It is now sliding better. It is not perfect because the building has settled onto the sliders, but they are able to be open with minimal force. We also looked into the cold air return and cleaned that up for future guests and asked our cleaners to dust the valences. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to report the issues mentioned have been resolved. We hope you will stay with us again soon!

Nice spot on HHI

This was a nice little cottage on Hilton Head Island. Enough space for probably 4-6 people to sleep comfortably. The property manager was very helpful and communication was great. Quite easy check in / check out process. Would recommend!
