Tranquil surroundings-- loved the Mexican theme because I'm Mexican-American. I enjoyed a wonderful stay and I appreciated the fact that so many restaurants, stores, and my workout center were nearby. 5 stars!

My booking was canceled day of. I did not know until I arrived and had nowhere to stay. Vague reason for cancelling siting environmental impact? Do not trust your booking if you book this property.

The house is in a great location; not too close to the busy city traffic but close enough to get where you need to be within a good range. It was also clean and welcoming with snacks and refreshments provided, as well as basic toiletries and towels. Theres a food truck park within walking distance for a quick bite.Communication with host was amazing. I will be returning on our next trip.

Super cute and clean .. just not much if you want to cook, had to go buy alot of supplies. But it was comfortable and location was good if you need to be downtown SA fast like i did. Parking is steep so becareful if you have a low car, the driveway scraped mine.

The location was perfect for us. The parking a little cramp. We did not want to park on the street and the bush on the fencing poured over making it difficult to exit the side of our vehicle. The bench seating to view television was not practical or comfortable. Adorable, just not comfortable. The restroom could use a mirror. We were pleasantly surprised how well the AC unit worked and the dimmable lights were an awesome feature. Overall, our stay was lovely.

This was the perfect rental for a 4 day getaway for my husband and I. The Casita is located within a 10-15 min drive to the Riverwalk, The Alamo, Alamo Dome, The Tower of America's, the Zoo, Aquarium, mall, and the airport. The Riverwalk has a nice variety of different cuisines and shops, and is overall wonderful to just stroll along, at night time it's really beautiful. This was the first time we were taking a trip without our children, so my husband and I were looking for a rental that was close to the Riverwalk, that wouldn't break the bank, and would allow the workaholics in us, some much needed rest. I would be lying if I didn't say that we were initially a little apprehensive about privacy, in relation to being in such close proximity to the owners house. It was never an issue though and I can't say enough how happy we were that we booked the Casita.The Casita itself was clean, well- maintained, in a quiet neighborhood, and comfortable. The house never issues keeping a comfortable temperature and parking for our rental vehicle was not an issue. Checkout instructions were clear and easy to follow. We reached out to the owner a few times, merely out of courtesy for letting them know about our early morning departure, and other small things. The owner was quick to respond and interactions were always pleasant. Overall, if you're wanting to find an affordable, quiet, clean little getaway that has quick access to the down town, the Casita is the place to book!
