Le «Hairy Hut» offre une expérience unique en bord de mer. Cette grande maison au toit de chaume a un grand plan ouvert et peut accueillir 12 personnes. Le loft a 1 lit queen, 2 lits doubles et 2 lits simples. La chambre principale est au rez-de-chaussée et dispose de 2 lits queen-size. Le salon a un canapé, une causeuse et une chaise. Le Warm Carribean est à quelques pas du salon. Le «Hairy Hut» possÚde une cuisine moderne avec des appareils en acier inoxydable et des comptoirs en granit.

Spacious yet cozy

Great location to unwind and relax on a windy day. Ideal for families with teenagers. We enjoyed our extended stay. The host were great and stores are in walking distance.

Great time!

We had a great time! Steve and Pam are great, the house is great, the beach is great, stores are in walking distance, local food is great (tracks, fry jacks, etc), the lagoon side is walking distance (great fishing). It was all great! Absolutely beautiful

Hairy Hut Stay

Great time was had at the Hairy Hut by all 7 of us. Loved the fresh mangos and coconuts everyday. We enjoyed having such close access to not only the beach but the pool as well. Steve and Pam were excellent hosts and gave us plenty of Intel on the island and island life. Will definitely return!

Loved this place. Great beach house. Loved being right in the beach. The hosts Stephen and Pam were very kind and friendly and helpful with local information. We would definitely go here again.

Little Bit of Heaven at the Hairy Hut

So thankful for our time. Million $ views every day. Best view is opening bedroom doors to the beach and enjoying coffee and sunrise in bed. Great hosts Steve and Pam. Appreciate their kindness and desire to be great neighbors to all around. If you want to experience a truly “rich” time- hang out at the Hairy Hut and get to know some of the people. Or maybe you want to just enjoy the peace of relaxing with the sound of waves breaking just a few yards away. You can have it all here. Loved our time and will be back.

A mullion dollar view!!!

What a wonderful and unique experience!!! We fell asleep to the sound of the waves a few yards from our front door! The view each morning was spectacular!!! So peaceful and serene. Pam and Steve were great hosts! We loved Placencia, the restaurants, pubs, and people!

The hut by the sea

The owners Pam and Steve were very accommodating and helpful with our stay. It was great having the beach all to ourselves. The beach was raked every day to help with the sand fleas. They were very knowledgeable about where to eat and thee excursion we were interested in.

So welcoming!

Steve and Pam are such welcoming hosts — the property was great and they were very informative and accommodating for us! The location is great, several great local restaurants close and easy access to downtown Placencia. Having immediate access to the beach, hammocks, and a little dock was perfect.

A great place

Pam and Steve are a delight. Every morning Steve rakes the beach to get it spotless and reminiscent of a Japanese garden. The hut itself is a combination of beach chic and comfy den. The garifuna village in which the hut is located offers grocery stores, a bakery, and a fabulous Jamaican restaurant.

Dream vacation fulfilled

We were a group of 14 adults and children who had been planning this for 2 years and our expectations were fully met. Steve and Pam were gracious hosts. The house and location were an oasis of peace, quiet, and beautiful beach. We enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of Placencia.

The Belize getaway!

We loved Placencia, Belize. Seine Bight is a little North of Placencia and more of a village environment. We loved the roadside bakery there. The VRBO hosts, Pam and Steve, go above and beyond to assist their guests. Having them on the props was invaluable. They were there to assist if needed, gave us many mangoes, gave references for restaurants, and Pam even scheduled a sailboat excursion for us. Our visit was awesome!

Coming back

What a trip. The Harry Hut was about piece of paradise for two weeks. Steve and Pam are amazing hosts and went well out of their way to make this n amazing stay. With their recommendations of of three Monkey River tour with Percy, to the in reef and deep sea fishing with Martin! Can’t wait for some more time on the beach and evenings on the pier. See you next year!!!

Family togetherness at its best!!

It was amazing to walk right out onto the beach and hear the waves all day and night long. The hut had everything we needed as far as supplies. LOVED the ample supply of towels. Steve and Pam thought of all the little amenities that are needed in a home and were great hosts - close by if you needed them but not intrusive at all. Unfortunately Mother Nature stepped in and the beaches and water were not crystal clear or blue, but the ocean was still wonderful and the pool is just a few steps away. The ocean is very shallow in front of the hut so it gave us a lot of playing area. We enjoyed our trips into Palencia, eating local cuisine, and our mountain hike to water falls (about an hour away). Steve and Pam are good resources for activities to do and people to do them with. We had 8 adults with 1 bathroom and never ran out of hot water. It's a unique vacation experience in the Hairy Hut, but one well worth it. Thanks, Steve and Pam for having us!!!

Awesome...

Just as advertised. loved the hairy hut. 18 steps to the beautiful Caribbean Sea and watch the most gorgeous and GOD inspiring sunrises right from your bed if you so choose. Steve is a great host and took well care of us. Thanks for everything....

Wonderful beach stay with the best hosts.

Steve and Pam made this one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Steve is a great cook! Pam gave us mangoes from their tree which were ripe. They get up early and comb the beach and set up the hammocks. We had no security concerns. We rented a car to get around because we wanted to explore more, placencia peninsula is a 7 minute drive from the house. Top reasons to return are the hosts, the house, the relaxing nature, and the beautiful country and people. We hope Steve and Pam will invite us back when we return. Please stay there if you have a chance. You will not regret it.

Best Beach Life

We loved the Jensens and the Hairy Hut. The pictures are accurate!!! We arrived and although we were earlier than expected the Jensens made sure we were taken care of, gave great suggestions for dinner spots and the house was ready exactly when they said it would be. It was the perfect place to wind down from all the busy-ness of the previous 5 days. Thank you for everything.

On the beach with a wonderful breeze and surrounded by tropical foliage.

This is the perfect vacation from a big city. Pam and Steve were wonderful, and the property was exactly as promised. Wake up to the sound of the waves a few steps from your door, feel the ocean breeze in your bed, have your coffee on the beach and then take a day trip to one of the cayes, the ruins or the forest.

Fantastic Place to Escape and Relax

Pam and Steve have built an awesome retreat for those wanting to get off the beaten path and enjoy the beauty of southern Belize. The "Hairy Hut" is spacious, clean and outfitted with all the modern amenities you'd expect in a vacation home. The house is tastefully decorated exactly how a rustic beachside hideaway should be, and the views from the house are second to none. Seine Bight is a small town about halfway between Maya Beach to the north and Placencia to the south. Vern's restaurant is a short walk from the house and serves some awesome Belizean food, don't miss the breakfast! There's a couple of convenience stores within walking distance as well as a few other restaurants. Placencia is where the local activity is - be it diving, fishing or quaffing a few brews with ex-pats and locals at the many fine eating and drinking establishments. It is a warm and friendly town with plenty of things to do! This is really a special place - from the breathtaking sunrise over the water every morning to the comfortable beds at night, I can't say I've ever stayed at such an appealing location in all my travels. We took our two 20-somethings down with us, and even for them it was early to rise and early to bed every day -- the TV stayed off the whole time which was quite a victory :-) You'll find your hosts one of the nicest couples we've met, which greatly adds to a wonderful vacation experience. Thank you, Pam and Steve!
