We had a wonderful stay! The property was quiet, clean and the location was convenient for walking and biking. The pool was clean and the grounds are beautifully maintained. Communication with the host was prompt and very responsive, which was greatly appreciated.

Great location for sunsets. It’s the last property on the peninsula.

We loved our stay at the Pointe House. It is one of the nicest places to stay... very private, super clean, decorated beautifully, lots of space and very comfortable. We spent a lot of our time there as it had everything you need to make a day great. The owner was very communicative and Rosa is a wonderful manager and very welcoming. We would highly recommend a stay here and look forward to going back.

This property is located in a great, secluded location on the point, but it is easy walking/biking distance to restaurants and grocery. The caretakers were very attentive and answered all our inquiries. I would highly recommend!

Sunset Point was a beautiful place. Very clean and quiet. The caretaker, Rosa was very accommodating and wonderful! We will be back! This was just what we needed to get away from our Alaskan winter. Only thing I regret is not going fishing. Maybe next time!

Lobsterfest

Pointe House is an attractive, clean, and well-appointed vacation home. There is a friendly caretaker on site. The pool is very nice and the views are outstanding.The road to the village is a little rocky for walking after dark so renting a golf cart may be a good idea.

So happy you enjoyed your stay, The road into the village can get a little rough , the village council is responsible for that road and we keep the one in front of Sunset Pointe. Our road is good but hopefully the village will be grading their part soon.

The place and location are incredible. It was a beautiful place to stay with great views of the water. The bikes were helpful to get around. Rosa was very nice and helpful.

Great Place

Excellent location, everything smooth about checking in and the workings of the house. The swimming beach is in town, a few hundred yards away, but we enjoyed sitting on the docks or in the palapa, or using the pool.

Diving and exploring Placencia

Very nice home. Great water views. Bigger than you think. Nicely decorated with local art. Close to town. The grounds look like they are out of a travel magazine.

Wonderful

Perfect! Lovely place just a short bike ride into the village. The caretakers were fantastic. Unobtrusive but available. This place is a real Belizean gem!

Fantastic location

Sunset Point has everything you need for a wonderful vacation. Bikes, kayaks, comfortable furnishings, well equipped kitchen, beautiful pool, dock and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, bars and beaches. Thank you Janis, Eric, Francisco and family

Thank you for being a repeat guest at the Pointe House and Sunset Pointe. We have many guests that return year after year for the reasons you just stated. We are in the village but being at the southern point it is very quiet. The Pointe House is the last house on the 23 mile long Placencia Peninsula which makes this location very private.

Placencia Sunset Pointe

We very much enjoyed the property. The pool was very nice and we enjoyed a daily swim. The kayaks were fun to use in the canal and close to shore. Our only wish is that we could have had access to the beautiful views from the roof deck.

So happy you enjoyed the accommodations and made good use of the kayaks to go down the Placencia Lagoon and enjoy the wildlife. We do have three third floor viewing decks on the property that our guests in the Pointe House are welcome to use . I hope you did go up on one of those and take in the spectacular sunrises over the Caribbean and sunsets over the lagoon and Mayan Mountains. Thank you for staying with us!

Romantic location

Quiet spot. Great sunsets. Very bumpy dirt/sand road after leaving main road. The village has many great restaurants and bars.

Thank you for your positive review of the Pointe House and yes we have spectacular sunsets that is why it is called Sunset Pointe. Happy you were able to enjoy those sunsets. Yes during the rainy season which is June to December the road becomes bumpy but in December the government comes in and will grade it. We are less than a mile off the paved main road in the village so it is not a long drive to our property at the point. Happy you were able to enjoy some of the villages great restaurants and bars !

Fishing headquarters

Absolutely great place to stay in Placencia. Fishing charter was Charlie Leslie. Picked us up and dropped off at the dock and brief walk into town for dinners. Never got into the pool but was well kept and beautiful grounds.

My husband and I have owned a home in Placencia for 13 years. We loved visiting the Florida Keys until it became so crowded with people and boats. The Peninsula and Placencia remind us of what the Keys and Key West must have been like 75 or 100 years ago.

Where else in the world can you dive or fish on the second longest Barrier Reef in the world in the morning and cave or hike through pristine jungle mountains and go to waterfalls in the afternoon.

We love it here because no other country in Central America offers so much for so little effort in such a tiny land mass. Add to this the environmentally caring infrastructure and English speaking, friendly, laid-back people and you soon realize that Belize really does have it all.
