Very nice house to stay in. Was just the right size for our needs. Need to clean windows and replace the broken one out back. House was nice to stay inside while we had to ride out weather. Kitchen was well stocked.

We stayed at the Honey Pot house for the weekend as 4 friends reconnecting after many years apart. The property was perfect for us! Well appointed and plenty of space. We played games and sat around the fire in the private backyard. Conveniently located for venturing out or staying in. Many businesses close by for delivery options. Poppy was super responsive and helpful with providing recommendations for recreation and restaurants. Check-in and out was smooth.

We enjoyed our cozy stay at the honey pot very much! It was perfect size space for our family of 4. And after our adventurous days it was a great landing pad!! The location is great, we enjoyed morning walks and sunset views on the lake close by! We saw some fawn friends & loved the area a lot. Overall the space was mostly clean, there were some noticeable cobwebs throughout the house indoor and outdoor that made my 8 year old desert boy very weary & mindful of his surroundings. But that is to be expected in a forestry area. Poppy was an extremely hospitable host, and very responsive right away. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend to others!

Communication with poppy was so easy and quick whenever any questions came up. It was only a little inconvenient that the bedroom doors all lock when you close them with different codes to unlock them, but I can see how that would be nice with a large group that you only have to remember the code to your own room. For us with kids in all the other rooms it just became kind of tiresome. Would very likely still stay again though!

Poppy’s house is cozy and comfortable. We were there for over 2 weeks and felt at home, relaxed, and comfortable in the home, which Poppy encouraged. Our dog loved running around playing in the snow in the fenced backyard. I would love to come back in the summertime and take advantage of the backyard and the lake!

Horrible Experience – Filthy House and Hostile HostOur stay at this property was an absolute nightmare from the moment we arrived. Check-in started with the front door knob completely loose and almost falling off, which was an immediate safety concern. Once inside, things only got worse.The cleanliness was unacceptable. The bathroom shower curtain was filthy, and every single rug in the bedrooms and bathroom was visibly dirty. The couches were covered in grime and clearly haven't been vacuumed under the cushions in forever. To make matters worse, we even found dog pee on the wall.The breaking point was finding a bed with dirty sheets that hadn’t been changed, complete with used foot detox pads left behind by the previous guests.When I messaged the host to address these issues, her response was incredibly rude and dismissive. She told me that "it's a house, not a hotel" and claimed my expectations were too high. She then flat-out called me a liar, telling me that I didn't find dirty sheets. I have lots of pictures to prove every single one of these claims.Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. The house is poorly maintained, and the host is hostile when confronted with legitimate issues.

Die Wohnung hat einen sonderbaren Geruch - als würden Feuchtigkeitsprobleme oder Gerüche eines Raucherhaushalt mit Duftstoffen überdeckt.Noch unangenehmer ist aber, dass sich das Wasser seifig anfühlt und es im Waschbecken des Badezimmers sogar kloakig gerochen hat. Weiterhin hat uns sehr gestört, dass es in der Küche keineTür zum Kellerabgang gibt, so dass ein dunkles Loch bleibt und der große leere Keller wie ein großer Resonanzkörper wirkt und Geräusche in der Wohnung verstärkt.In der Küche und einem der Schlafzimmer sind die Fenster durch den letzten Farbanstrich fest verschlossen und können nicht geöffnet werden.

Thank you for the feedback. While you were there I constantly asked for feedback. I understand well water is different when you come to this country. I have made adjustments and now include bottled water! I also got a door installed to basement. I wish you the best!
