We’re sorry to hear this guest did not enjoy their stay, as this is not consistent with the experience most guests have at the property. This concern was not raised during the stay in a way that allowed us to address it in real time. Had we been notified earlier, our local house manager is always available and would have responded immediately to take care of any issue. We pride ourselves on being highly responsive and addressing guest needs promptly. The home is professionally maintained and on a regular pest control schedule. As noted in our listing, the property is located in a countryside setting, and while we take extensive preventative measures, occasional insects can occur—particularly during seasonal transitions. We also want to clarify a few points for accuracy: all bedrooms are equipped with blinds, most main living areas have window coverings, and all lighting is fully functional. Any isolated issue would have been quickly resolved if brought to our attention during the stay. We remain committed to providing a high-quality guest experience and encourage guests to communicate any concerns while on-site so we can ensure a comfortable and enjoyable visit.
