In a quiet location with a stunning view of the Seine and feels both private and extremely safe. The neighborhood is very walkable with dozens of adorable cafes, restaurants, pastry shops, retail, a pharmacy and small grocery just steps away. Easy walk to two different metro stops, though we also opted to walk to Saint Germaine de Pris, the Latin Quarter and Arr. 1 right from the apartment.
The duplex apartment is located on the main floor of a listed building, built in 1639. Recently renovated by an architect, it consists of
- a very modern and well-equipped entrance/kitchen (Magimix food processor, oven, plate warmer, silverware, etc.) ideal for a dinner for 6;
- a large and very elegant living room overlooking the Seine, with a large TV and a functional fireplace
- two double bedrooms (one on each floor), each with its own bathroom (upstairs) and dressing room; the downstairs bedroom, in Baroque style with period paneling, has a fireplace and the upstairs bedroom has a large-screen TV and air conditioning
- upstairs, a small office containing two bunk beds (ideal for children).
It is located in the heart of Ăle Saint-Louis, a real "village" in the heart of Paris, 200 m from Notre-Dame and facing the Marais, close to many restaurants, grocery stores, florists, bakeries... the charm of the place is unique.
