Things to note:

Ceiling height:
The ceilings are a bit low, just something to be aware of if you are on the taller side.

Floor:
As is common in basement units, the floor may be cold for some.

Noise:
Neighborhood is very quiet with low traffic, there is an upstairs unit, so you will hear walking, talking, tv noises.

Smoke detectors:
The smoke alarms are connected throughout the whole house, so if one goes off the whole house will beep, including the unit above.
