Quiet getaway

The lake house was exactly what we needed - quiet restoration surrounded by nature. The house is comfortable and had everything we needed. The internet is a little slow, but in the end that was a plus instead of a minus as it allowed us to truly unplug from the chaos of work and the world for a few days. Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay and we will be staying again. Most comfortable bed we have had at any rental hands down. Love the decorations!! Home was clean and really felt like home. Only suggestions would be to have deeper pocket bed sheets in the master and have a golf cart that you could rent out. We would have definitely taken that option. The next door neighbors were so nice and we felt like we lived there. The dock was amazing as well. Made great memories

You should stay here too!

My brother and I were at West Point lake for a Military Bass Anglers National Tournament. The house was perfect for what we needed. Good short walk down the hill to the covered dock. Birds chirping and stress free location.

Great Lake House

I rented this property for some of my family to stay in at Thanksgiving while visiting us. The house is well appointed and updated. The furnishings are cute and comfortable. The outside property is beautiful with a path down to the lake and dock. I would definitely rent again for my out of town guests to use!

Best getaway

We had a great time. House is beautifully decorated and everything was wonderful. If I had to give 1 negative would be the walk to the dock. It is not for the weak. But it was worth it being the fishing queen for the week. Will definitely stay again.

Winter in LaGrange

This was our 2nd stay and we enjoyed ourselves as usual. It was cold later in the week and rained really hard Tuesday and Wednesday. Our minivan got stuck in the mud. We could not get it out. Before we even had a chance to call anyone, the owner came and pulled us out. Thank God for him and his friend. Even though the fish wasn't biting, the place was so inviting and comfortable as usual. We are looking forward for our 3rd visit.

Well appointed cabin

We were scouting the area for a retirement home and decided to spend a week in the area. We worked remotely without any issues and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The lake was down quite a bit which was disappointing but it really didn’t affect our stay. The cabin had a large living area with plenty of seating. The kitchen was well appointed but bring your own ziplocks, foil, etc… we didn’t bbq but were happy to see a grill was available. Beds were comfortable with plenty of drawer space in the main bedroom. No dresser in the second bedroom..just a nightstand. There are plenty of towels for four people (we had three) but no shampoo, body wash or bar soap. The washer/dryer came in handy (we brought our own soap and dryer sheets) and the coffee bar was great (bring your coffee and condiments). Overall this is a great place to stay and we will check availability the next time we’re back looking at homes.

Cabin good, but where is manager!

Good location. Nice to be able to walk down to the lake and fish. Everything available in the kitchen and even a couple of board games.. Very nice cabin, clean, but some BUGS. Found some bug spray there. Biggest concern is although I spoke with Angie the property manager the day after I booked it to find out about the fishing there; she never returned my text while I was there about the WiFi and her voice mail box was and still is full. I just got home last night to realize I left a very sensitive item there that I need to get. I have tried to call her- voice box still full and emailed her without success. I will keep trying because I have to drive back there (7 hours) to get it.

Hi Ida, we’re sorry your stay fell short of expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We sincerely apologize for the communication issues that you experienced during your stay. Our guest contact is typically very responsive but was experiencing a health issue at this time. - We were able to return your item to you personally and apologize for the delay. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
