Come stay at our A-frame cabin on West Point Lake! With 2,800 sq/ft and over 2 acres of property, there is plenty of room to relax with the whole family. The home accommodates 8 total guests, boasts 30-ft ceilings and cedar beams.

We just had a brand new private slip dock installed in May 2025

Felt like a second home. Was the perfect place to gather and not be all on top of each other. There are so many separate spaces that accommodated ages 8-66! Every square inch of this beautiful A Frame was carefully crafted. I loved all the decor—especially the West Point theme in the main floor bedroom. There were great books on the shelves and like a million DVDs. The kitchen was stocked with everything you can think of. A great coffee station which included a bean grinder, high end coffee maker, pour over carafe and a gorgeous gooseneck hot water kettle. The dishes, glasses and serving ware were all very nice and plentiful. We were all there to attend a family wedding in Roanoke—packing into a hotel would have been dreadful and likely cost the same or even more. Truly grateful for such a wonderful place. Communication with Chris was next level. This is THE place to stay.

The home is beautiful and spacious. There were 5 adults in our party and everyone was comfortable. The host was attentive and gracious. We greatly enjoyed our weeklong stay. This location is highly recommended.

My stay at West Point lake house

The property inside and out was very nice. Clean had everything you needed in place. I would only suggest that you have a covering on the dock and a golf cart for access for the house, to get to the dock for the older people who wants to fish while on the property. This house was the perfect set up I would come back again.

Alabama FIRST RESPONDERS RETREAT

Absolutely amazing! From the moment you turn off the road and wind your way into the woods, you’re greeted by the warm glow of a stunning A-frame home. The property is immaculate—clean, beautifully organized, and thoughtfully labeled. There’s plenty of space to relax and take in the breathtaking views. We used this incredible retreat as a headquarters for the heroes we brought from Chicago to Alabama, giving them the opportunity to experience the true beauty of the state. It felt both first-class and wonderfully homey—a perfect balance of comfort and charm!

Great Property!

Beautiful house with great amenities! Our group walked down to the lake and went on a walk around it (wished there was more water, but that's on mother nature). Great place to take friends or family and have a cozy, relaxing weekend.

60th birthday getaway

Rocky Point A Frame was the perfect place for a friends getaway. My spouse and myself, my childhood bestie and her spouse and their adult daughter all came together to celebrate the 2 friend's 60th birthdays. We were all so comfortable, the house is well appointed and so organized, a lot of little amenities and extras made the stay special. The 2 clocks showing eastern and central time was so helpful, what a great touch, We especially enjoyed the fire pit in the evenings and also had fun with the ping pong table. No one in our group was brave enough to use the karaoke machine but what a nice option to have for gatherings. The host was very communicative throughout the process and flexible when we requested an earlier check in time. Definitely recommend staying at this A Frame cabin

Don’t hesitate on this one


A-Frame was updated, very spacious, equipped with plenty of room for everyone. Short walk to the dock & a quiet cove. The cove has plenty of room for kids to kayak and paddle board or you can venture out on Veasey or Stroud creeks, not a very busy part of the lake. 15-20” drive to grocery and or restaurants. Christopher was very accommodating and quick to respond to our needs and questions. We will be back!

I’ve lived all over, from Indiana and Connecticut, to Cape Cod, Nashville, Austin, Japan, and Atlanta. Travel is a priority for me, as are unique experiences which have inspired some of the design of this house.

The home was built by the original owner around 40 years ago, and I spent most of the pandemic renovating it top to bottom to get it ready for all to enjoy. Go check out some of the before pics on IG: RockyPointAFrame

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The area is quiet and serene. The area doesn't get much traffic as the road dead-ends to the Rocky Point boat launch and nature trails at the end of the street. Our two acres are on a wooded but well maintained lot. In addition to those two acres, there is an army corp setback that adds even more privacy.

Wildlife is abundant in our area. You can find herons, turtles, deer, foxes, frogs, turkeys, eagles, ospreys, and more around the property and in the surrounding area. West Point Lake is known nationwide for its stellar fishing, and bass, striper and crappie are known to be abundant in the area.

The highlight of the property, aside from it being directly on the lake, is certainly the uniquely constructed home. A-Frames are aesthetically pleasing, but we've put in the effort to ensure that it's both stylish and comfortable as well.
