Great location, 6 minute walk (10 w/ kids) to beach access, close to bakery, restaurant and ice cream parlor. Hot tub was nice, deck was nice. Plenty of room for my family of 6 inside. Would stay again.

We got family together for a long weekend and the house was perfect for us. You are right near a bakery, small grocery and some restaurants. The walk to the beach was 10- 15 min. Our weather was cold so the hot tub was wonderful and we used the fire pit nightly. Communication was easy, friendly and accommodating! Would definitely return!

Great location

Love this location, everything we needed was steps away. All the extras that come with the house! Beach towels, beach chairs , toys , firepit , HOT TUB we enjoyed so much! Literally 6 minute walk to beach. Stores, restaurants around the corner.

Wonderful place to stay!

My family really enjoyed staying at this house. It was clean and roomy. We spent time in the backyard sitting around the fire, hanging out in the hot tub, and cooking dinner on the grill. We liked the fact that we could walk to a small grocery store, a bakery/breakfast shop, and an ice cream place that had the most delicious gelato! We also enjoyed walking to the beach. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, clean, well stocked house accurately described. Managers were easy to work with and responded quickly. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels. We loved our long weekend trip with family. Cute basket in bathrooms with toothbrushes, earplugs, Sleep masks, shampoo, etc.

New Buffalo paradise

Place was perfect for our family of 9 adults and 2 kids age 4. Perfect location with all amenities needed for our annual Family weekend vacation at the beach. Very nice area. Really nice having the market and bakery a block away. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. Hot tub was awesome too.

Easy get-away from Chicago with dogs

Nice house to stay in with our family—plus the fur babies. Everything you need is available—plenty of towels, pillows, blankets, kitchenwares including coffee/tea, toiletries etc. Hot tub was great on a cold winter night.

So clean and beds, linens and blankets were great. Kitchen had so many extras that were unexpected (based on the other rentals we’ve had over the years. The kids loved the little games, books and arcade game. The outdoor setting was peaceful and pretty with a grill, fire pit, swing and hot tub. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more. There is a beach entrance with minimal parking at the end of the main road (0.6 miles) so would recommend a wagon or stroller if you have little ones. The adults can walk it easily but it was hard for the littles. We got a parking spot every day but once.

Weekend getaway

The house was very clean, only a short walk to the beach . We had 9 guest everyone slept well. Loved the basement area for my grands. The only thing i wished they had was a blow dryer and maybe a couole xtra blankets. We enjoyed the deck and hot tub in the evening hours.

Everything was as promised. A little bigger than expected which was a good thing. Perfect location and everything was easy to figure out how to work including the TVs! Property manager was excellent and quickly took care of the few requests I had. Looking forward to staying there again.

The best!

My friends and I stayed this past weekend at the Union Pier house and we are obsessed. Not only is Keli, the host, the nicest person and lovely to deal with, but the property and house is so perfect. Clean, comfy and conveniently located a walk away from the beach, a cute bakery and Union pier social restaurant. All walking distance from the house. We had the best time and will be booking again next year.

Awesome vacation house

Stayed with my and my sisters family, plus two dogs. The house is an excellent location close to downtown. The house itself was plenty big, with a great backyard for fires and a deck for grilling and playing cards. Note that the yard isn’t fully fenced (in case you have dogs that run away). Inside is fully furnished and the hosts supplied everything needed. We would definitely stay here again.

House was very comfotable, clean. Only minor disappointment was that yard was not fully fenced to enclose the dog. Also since yard wasn't fenced orher dogs left their waste in the yard.

Fall family retreat

This was our families 4th time visiting over a long Columbus Day Weekend. This house was in a great proximity to the yummy bakery and to the general store. We enjoyed taking long walks with our dog down the beautiful quiet streets. We were a family of 7 & this house was setup great for late night board games while others slept in the downstairs. We enjoyed St Julian winery and the Journeyman Distillery which was very close and taking hikes at the dunes. Our favorite restaurants are Red Arrow, Stray Dog & Brewster. Would definitely rebook this house again.

Perfect!

I had the most amazing weekend away at this property. The house was clean and lots of fun activities for a young family. The beach was a short walk away, bakery within walking distance, went to New Buffalo for a facial and shopping in Michigan City. Communication with the property manager was spectacular as well. The property looks even better than in the pictures, which never seems to be the case. Going home a well rested mama. Will be re-booking this property in the future for sure.

This Union Pier rental was a great spot for an October long weekend for my family of 2 adults, 2 teens, and our dog. The setup of the house provides opportunity for both togetherness and private space with two bedrooms, a full bath and a living room/TV space on each floor. The setup could also work really well and comfortably for two families sharing space with young kids, or even 4 couples. The back deck, fire pit and hot tub are nicely maintained and relatively private - while not fully fenced in, there's lots of vegetation on two sides and a fence on the third. The house was very clean upon arrival and didn't even have that "someone else's house smell" you notice at rentals sometimes :) The teens enjoyed the arcade-style videogame and fussball table in the basement. Wifi was reliable and the satellite TV options were good. The location can't be beat, as it is only a few houses from Black Currant Bakehouse, and within a block of a few shops and restaurants (sandwiches from Milda's were yummy!), Union Pier Social, and Neon Moon Gelato. The Townline Beach is about 1/2 a mile walk away and very pretty. New Buffalo and other Harbor Country towns are also available a 15 min car ride away. We enjoyed shopping for used and new books at Flourish on Red Arrow Highway between UP and NB. Overall, very relaxing setting that felt both comfortable and laidback. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to be back soon!
